It has an rectangular beveled mirror at the top center, and one small compartment, or glove box, with a hinged lid between the side braces that are meant to hold umbrellas. The piece has some lightly carved detail on it, as well as a lovely delicate cut-out pattern. There is some light damage at the front of one of the side rails, as well as a bit more wear to the finish on the front legs.

This listing is for an early 1900's Roseville Pottery Umbrella Stand/Majolica. It is approximately 19 inches tall and 10 inches wide at the top and bottom. It is in execllent condition. Without cracking, chips or scratches. It has very light wear on the underneath of the base and equally on the inside from general use. This a great functional/ decorative piece of american pottery with a vibrant finish perfect for an umbrella stand, dry vase or general decor. Since it is currently being used I did not weigh it or photograph the bottom. I would guess it weighs about 20 lbs but regardless will include free shipping fully insured. Marcy Foundry 1927. The stand depicts an 18th century American sailor holding a rope. He stands on a piling with his tools, duffle bag, and an anchor at his feet. The stand is 27 inches high, 14 inches across the rope, and 12 x 4.75 inches inside the rope. The base is 21 x 9 inches. Removable tray. In 1887 the New York telephone directory listed Marcey[sic] Stove Repair Co. at 63, 65 Beekman St. Manhattan, with telephone number John 888. Vintage Mid Century Bellini Florentine Italian Hand Painted Umbrella Stand Vase
Thank you for looking! This is a really beautiful hand made piece of Italian pottery I believe it is from mid century and it states from Florentine in Italy. It is an Umbrella or Cane stand or even a Giant vase which appears to be in great original condition. Please click on large photo to look at all photos for better description. It has the olive green background with the gold chevrons that look like they are lined on top and bottom with lace. The glaze and colors all look original to me. The one tiny spot when looking at the base that looks like a chip or flea bite is completely painted and glazed over so is original to the item. You cannot see it when upright and it feels smooth also. There are also a couple even smaller spots right at bottom edge. But again they look original and I never noticed till looking at photo of bottom doing ... morethis listing. Nothing that detracts from the item at all. This item was originally sold at the Former Upscale Department Store in Cincinnati Ohio called the H.S Pogue Co that had originally opened in 1878. It has it's original $45.00 price sticker inside and also the original sticker from Bellini Italy and the Hand Painted Sticker also. I am not positive but it seems to be from around the late 50's maybe 60's or so. It is 18"s tall and 8"s in diameter. This is a vintage item so it might have character. Here is a great looking Mission Arts& Crafts Style Umbrella/ Cane Stand. It is quite large. Measures about 28" tall and 13 3/8" square. I am uncertain as to the origin or age of this stand but believe it might be earlier 1900's. Stand is in very nice shape but does show normal age appropriate wear- some scuffs/scratches in the finish, one area(shown in pic) on one leg where the finish has been scratched, and it does appear that a repair has been made on one of the top pieces(shown in last picture) Originally thought it was a scratch until further inspection- honestly don't think it is noticable. The rest appears to be all original finish, and worn areas can be seen in the finish especially on the top. This stand has 4'sections' in it. There is no manufacturer's label but it has good proportions and the legs are quarter-sawn. The posts have elevated square flat tops which are doweled into the legs—the only doweling that I saw. It measures 29” high, 23-½” wide and 9-½” deep. The condition is good, with an array of minor blemishes but the construction is tight and no gouges, cracks, or breaks. The aluminum( tray is rather flimsy but fits perfectly into the allotted space; it has been repainted black over ome old corrosion.
