Vintage brass unbrella/ cane holder stand. Engraved design nice piece. This appears to be in its original condition with all its patina and glory. It is a very cool engraved design of Flamingo or cranes on one side and bamboo trees on the other. It has no major dents or marks on it. there are some age spots which are common with aged brass. This is a great decorator piece and we like it just as is no need to polish that takes away from the character. This is a great vintage piece at a great price.

This vintage Asian. Solid brass Umbrella Stand is rife with symbolism with the Facing Dragons Handle and, what appears to be a Lotus Flower bouquet on the base. Although this is considered solid brass, the base is weighted for added stability. The base has approximately a 12" diameter and the stand is 27" tall. ANTIQUE VINTAGE CANE UMBRELLA PLANT STAND OCTAGONAL MAHOGANY VICTORIAN BEDPOST
24" tall. 11" diameter cane or umbrella stand. Octagonal column is constructed of solid mahogany boards, molding around the bottom is also mahogany, four feet are veneered. I think that this stand was made from the bottom section of a mid-Victorian bed post from a tester bed. If you are familiar with beds made by cabinetmakers like Mallard or Lee, the octagonal form was very popular. For whatever reason(fashion, low ceilings) a bed was taken apart and the lowest section of a bedpost was repurposed as a hall stand with the addition of four scroll feet- that look like they came from a Victorian footstool and two handles on the side that look like sections of molding. The reconfiguration was not done recently- the nails holding the feet in show some surface rust and the screws attaching the bottom panel are not new either. The reimagining ... moreof the bedpost was probably done in the mid 20th century or before. It makes an interesting history and I think it makes a very handsome and impressive looking stand for your canes or umbrellas. It would make a great stand for a fern or other houseplant too. The finish on the wood is old. The mahogany has a lovely dark red color. There is finish wear and some scratches and marks, the veneer is quite worn on the feet. There is a split on one of the eight panels that would be an easy fix with wood glue and some strap clamps. It hadbeen in the stock room for a number of years before that. It's about 20" tall and about 10" wide and is made of metal. The litho on it is in very nice condition, although there are some small dark oxication spots, etc. as typical for these. They had used it as an umbrella stand in the restaurant. There is some typical rust on the inside and the underside, but overall a great rare vintage Coca-Cola piece that displays quite nicely. a vintage umbrella or stick stand 1950s- 70s I'm unsure of the designer or manufacturer but it is very much in the style of Carl Aubocks mid century designs the stand has a triangular cast iron base and 1 piece of bent brassed metal that acts as the holder. the brass forms 2 back to back triangles in which to hold umbrellas or sticks. the underside of the base still retains its original felt. The staining to the felt is where the glue has come through from manufacture. It is not rust) the stand is in good condition but does have age related wear. The cast iron base has some light rust stains in the bowl designed to catch water and the brassed arm has tarnished. It is nice solid oak wood construction. It is a nice heavily carved antiqe European piece. It measures 28 1/2 inches tall and 16 3/4 inches on each side. It has a bow front. It has a metal catch pan in the bottom. This is an old English piece. It is in good condition other than a split in the top near where the umbrellas enter. This really does not affect the piece a great deal but it could be repaired with some glue and a clamp. I have chosen to leave it with the break as I think it adds character and it does not impede the use of the piece. This is a really nice vintage leather umbrella or hall stand. Measures 13-1/4" tall x 9" diameter. Includes an embossed image of a horse drawn carriage with people in it and a dog running along side. Minor issues- damage to bottom seam as shown in photo. inside bottom shows a little soiling from use and inside seam is pulling loose- needs to be glued and has a 1/4" piece missing on seam. It has rings attached to the top on each side so it can easily be carried. Stitching is in place and looks good. This is a great piece of vintage Americana. There are no tags.

Vintage Cast Iron Umbrella-Flag Stand Complete w/Inserts adjusts for pole size
This is a cast iron umbrella stand or flag stand complete with two removable heavy plastic inserts that I think are to accommodate two different sizes of poles. One has a 1 1/4" opening and one has a 1 1/2" opening. There is a hole on the side of the stand which lines up with the openings on the sides of the inserts which I'm sure accommodated a screw or something to hold the umbrella securely. Any screw of that size will work. The stand is 10" tall and measures 2 1/2" across the top opening and 4 1/2" across the base. There are three holes in the base to allow it to be screwed to the deck or floor. I see no signs of breakage or damage and it has several coats of white paint. Hammered Umbrella Stand Brass Riding Boot w/ Spur Vintage Made in Spain
Fabulous solid. Heavy brass riding boot stand with lacing going up on one side and a spur at the back. This is hand hammered and has a great patina to the brass. Oval foil label on the bottom reads: Made in Spain. This stand can be used for umbrellas. Walking sticks/ canes or flowers. The inside is currently partly filled up with floral foam for flowers but this can easily be removed. Stand measures: 22-1/2" tall x 14" long x 8-1/2" wide at the top.

Vintage Victorian Ball and Stick Style Oak Umbrella Stand Estate find. This is a nice small ball and stick style umbrella stand. Ball finishes at the top and bottom of the legs, put together with old metal brackets. Each side has a fan shaped design of curved narrow dowels. I do not know the age. On the bottom there is a metal(brass? dish that collects the water from umbrellas- there are some small holes in the metal(see pic 9) On one side of the stand the stretcher bar that goes across about 1/3 of the way up is broken and one of the curved dowels is missing(see pics 6& 7) It does not seem to affect the sturdiness of the stand and can still be displayed with that side positioned against a wall. This is a great ornate piece with a great deco appeal. It has a small removable red tray that is porcelain enamel i believe and it is chipped from the ends of the umbrella's over the years. For auction is an item that was originally found in a Rea& Derick drugstore. There was such a drug store in every town in Pennsylvania. Long before we needed a drug store on every second street corner. I originally thought this may have been an ashtray that is missing its ash receptacle. It is embossed with"Rea& Derick Inc" on the front indicating(possibly) that it was used as a fixture in a store. However, the back is stamped" Penna Appv'd Serial No A-15 20 Quarts Liquid" For all I know, it was used to ship some type of liquid from headquarters to a store only to be returned for refilling. Whatever it was, it would make a great ashtray or umbrella stand. It shows a number of minor dings but is in excellent condition overall. It would definitely still hold liquid.
