Dating from the 1890s, this great piece features an oak lift seat, bevel glass mirror, ... moreand shapely cast metal hooks, in a dark oak stain. This hall tree was refinished by the previous owner, and they did a really nice job. They strengthened the back of the mirror with support sticks as shown in the photos, too. It is tight and sturdy, scroll front legs, lift top seat, applied carving on the base and shapely mirror top. The overall size is 36 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 29 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 17 inches deep, 18 inches high to the seat, 28 inches high to the arms and the overall height is 84 inches. It is a great piece for any entryway. Shipping starts at $325 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.

The rest appears to be all original finish, and worn areas can be seen in the finish especially on the top. This stand has 4'sections' in it. Raises and lowers by loosening the handles, 180 degree pivot-able, secure, well built, the top itself appears to be birdseye(pls see pic of the wood) but not really sure. diameter of top is 1" it is 40x31" in size; table height goes from 31" to approx. 41" when fully raised; the American Drafting Furniture medallion is secured and in great condition; I base the age on an ad I found online that looks to have this in their 1916 catalog. The wood is in great shape, I do not know if this was refinished, it may be original, I honestly do not know. There is one end where there is some white residue, this may have been some glue used to assist in securing, it is possibly removable- I just left ... moreit alone.
