Southern Ohio estate, we are able to offer this exceptionally nice, and quite early, circa 1860's- 1880's era ... more~ VICTORIAN CAST IRON HALL TREE, UMBRELLA& CANE STAND, SIGNED JOHN MOORE NEW YORK ~ Please be sure to check out all of the 12 pictures we took of it. This is by far the nicest and most unusual example of an original 1870's era, Victorian Cast Iron Hall Tree stand we have ever had the opportunity to offer for auction. It measures 87 inches tall to the top of the fancy pomegranate fruit basket figural finial. The lower"hat rack" arm" by the mirror" with 4 hooks, measures 41 inches across and the top arm with 4 hooks measures 26 inches across. The base measures 28 inches wide by about 12 inches deep. There are a total of 9 very fancy large cast iron hooks which are all original to the hall tree. I even believe that the mirror is possibly original as well, with only some minor discoloration to the silvering. It has the original removeable bottom tray to rest your canes and umbrellas. The tray is signed ~ JOHN MOORE N.Y.~ on the bottom as well as signed on the back of the hall tree ~ JOHN MOORE N.Y.~ The over all condition is very nice with the exception of one broken hook on the bottom tier of cane rests- see picture# 11. It is actually not all that easy to tell because it is an inside hook. There is also one hook on the center column near the figural Lion's Head which has some damage. All of the large eight cast iron hooks on the top two sections are in perfect condition with no damage! The entire body and base is in perfect condition as well, with no cracks, chips or repairs. The patina to the cast iron is all original and we left it in 100% all original, as found, untouched condition. This would make a wonderful addition to any grand foyer entrance or a wonderful piece to display some of your prixed walking sticks or Victorian umbrellas and hats. This is a typical American Eastlake Victorian furniture part. The long grooves are typical as are the style of the carvings that either represent flowers or cherries. Also the strip of fancy burl grain which is overlaid in the 1" x 8" center rectangle is typical of Eastlake Victorian style. I do not know what piece of furniture this item was attached to. Gorgeous solid black walnut slant top writing desk. Circa 1820-1860 I rescued this diamond in the rough. It had many many coats of white paint hiding this beautiful black walnut wood. I lovingly& meticulously hand restored this desk back to full glory. I restored the finish with many. Many coats of hand rubbed shellac, maintaining the antique warm glow, rubbed to a silky smooth, yet allowing the beautiful grain textures to be felt. There was a trim around the back of the top which was missing. I custom made this new back rail trim using reclaimed 250 year old black walnut. The period solid walnut hand carved drawer pulls are from a Victorian dresser The harp shaped end is gorgeous and rare. As you can easily see with its cone shaped finial on the end of the hand turned support which joins it to the drawer base. The slant top is fixed ... morein position. There is no lid that lifts up, this was designed as a writing desk, dating back to the quill pen days. There is an age shrinkage split in the top which I chose not to restore. It gives great character to this lovely piece. The drawer lock mechanisms are missing.I restored all the drawers. Carefully taking them all apart and regluing them all and now they are rock solid and slide excellently. Full depth drawers with lots of storage. The desk is finished on all sides.It is a showpiece from all angles. I purposefully left some character marks remain in this desk such as tiny chip of wood.left top edge) pinholes etc, they give this desk awesome character, I was not trying to create a reproduction piece I try and respect the antique with all of its age, history and character. Welcome to my auction for our Chaise longue which we have no room for. Was re-covered approx 5 years ago and still looks very good. Length is 2000mm. Height is 810mm and width is 660mm. Comes with a rectangular cushion as well made with the same material. The wood is generally in good order but expect little nicks and cracks as it is approx 140 years old at a guess? None of the springs are broken and still has the origional stuffing. No woodworm or funny smells! I think the best one you will find at the moment on ebay. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ROUND TABLE A delightful circular antique wooden table. Dating to around 1880. It boasts four original claw feet. Gripping onto the leg bases, all of which are carved from the same piece of wood as the leg. They are on the original Victorian metal rounded tips. Completely original and unaltered with regards to its structure! The joints are mainly glued into place. And there's very few metal screws in the construction. As you can see. It's got a number of scratches, dents and scuffs from over the years, and a bit of gentle restoration will have it looking simply superb. There are no signs of woodworm or damage from water or damp. While all measurements are as accurate as I can make them. They must be labelled as approximations, as I've rounded up and down rather than put in the millimeters. The top is 61cm in ... morediameter. Lip is 6cm. Then legs are 42cm. Total height is 48cm. The claw feet are 6cm square. This table has been varnished quite roughly at some point with a quite shiny varnish. Which looks rather glossy, so it's the perfect project if you're into removing the varnish and either revarnishing it with a matt varnish, or restoring it back to the original wood. Gorgeous Solid walnut antique nightstand Own some American History.no doubt made by an American country craftsman The hardware has an Eastlake style.it is beautiful Circa 1850-1895 Beautiful original drawer ring pull.notice the fine details in the back plate.the pull has a great naturally aged& worn patina! I restore fine antiques and this lovely nightstand/table was in need of some meticulous restoration.I restored it from top to bottom and added some custom touches along the way! The legs are no doubt hand made/turned.they are beautiful What I love the most about this piece is the rich walnut wood.the wood is actually about 350-400 years old considering when it was cut down to make this table.the graining is spectacular I restored the finish entirely by hand. Just like when it was made.I hand scraped and sanded the failed original finish.then ... morehand rubbed many, many coats of varnish which showcases the wood and protects it as well. The hand scraping and sanding is labor intense but provides the most stunning look when restored! The finish is silky smooth but you can still feel the walnut grains/pores just as I designed the finish! I s trengthened the original loose top with screws& added the twelve antique walnut pegs around the top.it looks superb and add architectural detail! The stretcher/rung which connects the stretcher/rungs on the lower part of the legs I custom made and added the antique walnut pegs over the screw holes.the table had a shelf on the lower portion originally.it was missing& I added the custom stretcher/rung.it blends in perfectly with the overall design of the table The drawer slides like silk since being fully restored. This furniture part or topper. Pediment etc is old but I have no date. Otherwise it is in excellent condition; wood appears to be black walnut, chestnut, or similar type dark hardwood. Size is 27" long by 4 inches high. About 1 inch thick. I bought this in New England for a project and know nothing other than the above about this piece. Blue paint looks like a recent addition, I think this piece would be much prettier stripped and refinished to show off the nice wood.

ANTIQUE WALNUT VICTORIAN SPOON CARVED VINTAGE FRETWORK CORNICE FURNITURE PEDIMENT A lovely. Antique, Eastlake Victorian furniture pediment that appears to be made out of walnut. It has spoon carved decoration with has traces of gold still inside. There are spools that decorated each side and woodwork that looks like a crown. This lovely furniture pediment measures approximately 48" long x 6 1/4" high on each end and about 6 1/2" in the middle. There is about a 3" slope from the top flat part, down to the front of the spools. It appears that the blocks, in the middle next to the spools, were added recently. One of the points of the crown, in the middle, is missing and the scallop on one end is missing the top. A couple of other scallops have some damage to the wood that is not really that noticeable. There is a metal ring ... moreon each side for hanging, two screws in the back that were probably used to attach it to a piece of furniture, and the front has two nails in the wood, where someone must have hung something. One of the spools has a broken part that was probably done when the new block was added(not noticeable) Despite the flaws, this is still a very beautiful, antique, Victorian Cornice that will look great being hung and enjoyed. 2 Antique wall mount coat& hat hooks. I believe they are cast iron. Very heavy metal with a smooth finish that has a silver finish. Each hook at the ornate ball is a hollow circular area 1 5/8" diameter where a rod is mounted to hang things on. No rod with the set. Very neat design. They can also just be hung as simple hooks without the rod. 5 1/2" tall x 5 1/4" projection from the wall. 2 mounting holes are 1 1/4" on center.

Victorian Antique Lion Head Furniture Dresser Top Salvage Part
Here is an antique wood piece that I believe would have gone on top of a dresser or other piece of furniture. This is a very nice old piece with an open mouth lion in the center. The piece measures about 24" long. About 5" at the tallest(center) point, and about 1 3/4" in width at the widest part(in the center) The majority of the original finish is still in place, although there are areas around the lion's face where the finish has worn off. I do not see any missing pieces on the lions face, only worn areas. There is one very, very small chip in the wood on the back side of this piece at the very top. Antique Victorian Vintage Steer Horn Footstool Furniture
This is an original foot stool from the Victorian time period from about 1900. It has been modified over the years as the cover is not original. I do not know what is beneath the pink cloth. The wood is old but some of the screws holding the horns on have been replaced or added. It is still sturdy and can be used. The cushion part is about 12" x 19" with the horns spreading out a little farther at the floor. Its about 12" tall. Please examine the photos for complete condition as they tell all. I can only ship via the USPS. Although this isn't very heavy the box size makes it very expensive to ship. I have no control over this. Here's a fabulous. Antique"Victorian Eastlake Carved Walnut Bench or Stool" with an embroidered hinged top for storage. This amazing piece came out of a wonderful New England estate. It measures about 11" wide X 22" long and stands about 21.5" tall. The top is beautifully embroidered and the base has fabulous carved fretwork. I'm not positive but I believe the wood to be walnut. It's a very sturdy piece and in great condition for its 100+ years. There is a split in the wood on a piece of the fretwork and there are some holes and wear in the embroidery.
