This is a Vintage Hammered Brass Umbrella/Cane Stand with a Pub Scene. England, Regency. The Stand is canister style and is flared at the top and the bottom. It is 19" tall and 8 1/2" in diameter. It was made in England and has a Pub Style scene surrounding the canister. I believe it was painted black in original condition and the paint has worn off, but otherwise it is in excellent condition. RARE ART DECO CAST IRON CANE STAND CAST UMBRELLA STAND SEMI-NUDE FIGURE 42"
I am pleased to offer this VINTAGE ART DECO CAST IRON CANE STAND OR UMBRELLA STAND I found digging around a barn that had fallen down over 40 years ago. I am selling it in"as found" condition which is still pretty spectacular. It is 42" tall and features a SEMI-NUDE figure with her arms outstretched holding an arc which is obviously the handle. She appears to be standing on a globe and her top is bare with a draped garmet flowing from her waist. This part is 9 1/2" tall. There are three prevelant interconnecting 4 3/4" cast circles in which the canes or umbrellas were place and smaller spaces too. This section is 12" across. The base is also cast with 10 pointed spears in cast which secures the stand quite well and it is 10 1/2" in diameter. There is a screw under the world and under the rings which could ... moreadjust it and the base could be screwed off too. I'm am leaving it all the way that I found it. It has overall rust. But there are no breaks which is amazing. It needs a good wire brushing and oiling to bring it back to life. My shipping cost is based on it in tact and if the shipping is less than I've quoted, I will refund the difference. This ids a stunning antique handmade Arts and Crafts brass and iron umbrella/ cane stand pot. it has an abundance of intricate detailing and very well made. the iron parts have a stunning patina from age and is hand hammered with intricate floral detailing done in high relief. there are several dome bubble shaped pieces of brass overlaid on the iron parts. the base. Top, and mid band are made from hand hammered brass and nicely shaped. it measures 23 inches tall 10 3/4 inches wide. it is a very old piece and has normal ware. there are dings throughput but gives it nice character. No big dents. and there is a couple cracks at the top lip. Refer to pics. Vintage Antique Mission Style Arts & Crafts Umbrella Cane Hall Stand
Here is a great looking Mission Arts& Crafts Style Umbrella/ Cane Stand. It is quite large. Measures about 28" tall and 13 3/8" square. I am uncertain as to the origin or age of this stand but believe it might be earlier 1900's. Stand is in very nice shape but does show normal age appropriate wear- some scuffs/scratches in the finish, one area(shown in pic) on one leg where the finish has been scratched, and it does appear that a repair has been made on one of the top pieces(shown in last picture) Originally thought it was a scratch until further inspection- honestly don't think it is noticable. The rest appears to be all original finish, and worn areas can be seen in the finish especially on the top. This stand has 4'sections' in it. Sturdy stand was made by the BOMBAY COMPANY back in the 1980'S. These stands have hence been discontinued. It measures 28.5" tall with a base of 13" in diameter. The base and trunk are wood with a mahogany veneer. The base has a 10" antique brass overlay. Towards the top is a round 9" diameter, antique brass 2" tubing that holds the canes/umbrellas upright. The top mahogany handle is 3.5" in diameter. This handsome stand is in very good vintage condition. The brass does show signs of tarnish that may or may not come off. Up for auction is a gold metal umbrella and cane stand. This piece measures 2" tall and 1/2" wide. It comes with a black umbrella and 3 nice wood walking sticks/canes. It is in excellent condition. Fresh Estate Sale find is the large Resin Rattan/Wicker Elephant Plant Stand or Umbrella/Cane Holder. The wicker/Rattan is not real. Glazed over. The woman I purchased this from sold it as an Umbrella stand. However you could use as a planter. I believe a Resin Material to Appear as though it is Wicker. It came from High End estate sale. It is well made, has great detail and Gorgeous Elephants. Stands about 17 inches tall x 9 across the opening on top. Has 3 elephants. Guessing made of heavy resin material.
