Just what the title says. Here's a real nice Antique Late Victorian Marble Top Brass/Gilded Iron Plant/Lamp Table/Stand. This stand is in very solid condition. Cosmetically. I't as good as it gets in antique furniture. There's no damage, no repairs. It's in wonderful original condition with a great patina. The marble is in great shape as well. Thereare 2 very minor super ficial nics on the edge. They can barely be fet to the touch. There shown in the pics and hardly visible. I don't sell suprises. So while they're minor issues, I mention them. I'll estimate this piece around the turn of the 20th century in age. The stand is 30" high. It's 12 1/2" at the widest bend in the legs. This is a wrought iron. Scrollwork designed magazine rack or plant stand that is around 25" tall to the top of the scrollwork handle. Just doesn't match my decor anymore. There are knicks and scratches typical of something this age. There is an area where my dog chewed on it a few times when she was a puppy. Restaining this would hide most of the blemishes. The top is in very nice condition without any deep scratches. Most of the knicks are at the bottom of the legs. Near the feet. It is fairly sturdy. But does wobble just a tiny bit. It is plenty sturdy for a plant or as an occasional ... moretable for keys. Candle, etc. Because of it's tall and narrow size. Vintage Large Asian Ceramic Elephant Plant Stand Pedestal Hollywood Regency
This is a very fun highly detailed hand made elephant plant stand. This is marked with permanent market twice on the bottom South Viet Nam. This has great colors in the glaze and textured design through out and the base has a Greek key like design on the lower platform. The glaze is hand applies and has many manufacturing errors such as spills and runs. The inside is hollow and you can feel the finger grooves. I do not know if it is hand shaped but probably hand worked into a mold. The top glaze has some crazing. There is a couple very minor surface chips on the under edge otherwise no chips cracks or repairs; there are a few minor pits to the glaze. This is a vintage pieced and has much more detail than any of the others I have seen. This piece is wonderful. The pedestal is tall and measures 35" It features a round top and base, both of which measure 12" in diameter. The center column is fashioned in a gorgeous, exaggerated French barley twist. With the top measures 12 3/4 inches across. The inset brown marble measures 8 3/4 inches across and the distance between the tripod legs at the feet is 17 inches and this stand weighs approximately 18 lbs. It could be used for a myriad of things. It is carved from Fruitwood and has three shelves. Each shelf is beautifully decorated in a pyrography technique and painted in vibrant colors. The top shelf is decorated with a house and a windmill under a large tree and vibrant greenery surrounding the house. There are several sprigs with flowers and leaves- also in different hues of green and floral colors. There is a butterfly in the corner in vibrant colors and two bars swallows in flight approaching the cottage. The second shelf. Ie middle shelf is beautifully decorated with red and blue poppies and their green foliage. The ... morebottom shelf is decorated on it's almost entire surface with sprigs of different floral motifs, life daisies, zinnias, Indian Paint Brushes, etc. The stand is very heavy and carved from Fruitwood and is in good used condition. The beautiful patina of this really enriches it's presence. There is also a pearl like stencil decor around the periphery of the shelves. The top shelf has a railing so it could be used as a stand for porcelain or other knick nacks. It stands 35.5" high, 22" wide, and 12.5" deep. Offered here is a solid wood vintage carved fern or plant stand. Although I have had this piece for several years and puchased it from an antique store in Agusta. GA, it is NOT and antique. It stands on three ball and claw foot legs with feathers carved on top to 45 inches tall. The circular top is 11" in diameter with carving around the edges. It is in perfect condition. The legs measure 21" across and it is very sturdy and could be used for a lamp or other accessory. I WOULD PREFER LOCAL PICK-UP AS IT WOULD BE EXPENSIVE TO SHIP. Look how BEAUTIFUL this stand is! This a very well built plant stand made of Tiger Wood Oak and Brass Flowers going down the legs and around the lower stand base. This has really nice hand carved designs on the legs as well as solid brass flowers. There is a slight ring on botton shelf as seen in photo#4. But its hardly noticable. The top table has a nice cut edge design, and would look great in most any room! Really good condition for age. The top table measures 22.5" across. The bottom table measures 16.5" and on the curved parts of the legs measures 22" from outside curve to outside curve. Item: Up for auction is this fully restored Antique Ebony Finished Plant Stand. This is not a painted item. But rather an ebonized finish. The top and base of the stand measure 14 inches across, and it stands 36 inches tall. The stand is very elegant, has has very intricate detailed trunings. The stand is very well constructed. The top and base attach to the column via a threaded dowel shown in photo#11. There are some minor imperfection in the stand. Photo#5 shows a dent in the side of the column. Photo#8 shows a small dent in the top as well as a slight separation in the top. These imperfections are very minor and do not pose any structural or functional problems for the plant stand.
