Mission style oak wood hall tree umbrella stand FC
Up for auction is this Mission/Arts Crafts Style coat rack. Very sturdy but does have some issues. Solid oak rack with great patina. Measures 68"tall x 12"deep and wide. As the pictures show. Two of the wooden hooks are missing. The third hook is broken and is taped. This is how I bought it and I have owned it for a good eight years. this is a nice old victorian hall tree very detailed as you can see by the picture the mirror does move has lion or dragon coat holders 25' wide 81' tall 6' deep has one drawer. RARE Antique American oak shaving stand Circa 1905
J2559A. This is a rare wonderful shaving stand. It has a rectangular adjustable beveled mirror and original hardware- circa 1905. The oak is solid quarter sawn white oak(typical for the period) that has great grain. It has been professionally refinished and restored to provide many additional years of service. It has been refinished in a warm medium oak finish. Approx. size is 65 inches tall(top of mirror) 12 inches deep and 16 inches wide. It had a top drawer as well as a small cabinet. These were used to store the shaving tools. Buyer is responsible for all packing and shipping charges from our Northern California warehouse. We are located in Pleasanton. Offered for sale is an antique tole tray. Converted into a coffee table. Chippendale style large tray. Dating to the last half of the 19th century. The border is painted with a dark red. And has a spray of flowers. The base is a solid oak and has barley twist legs. The stand and the tray did not start out together. But make a great pair. It's a nice well made cabinet or caddy. It has Jacobean accents on the front& both sides, it had one on the back that must still be in England. It has a seven compartment lift out tray that was used for"spool" storage. It's made out of Oak& Oak veneers. It's sturdy with a cross stretcher base connecting the legs. This a great looking etagere from the 1800s. It has four shelves and is made of oak. With brass accents and a mirror. Measures 52" tall x 17-1/2" wide x 12-1/2" deep. The stained and varnished scroll-sawed back is of plywood and does not appear to be original to the piece. It is nailed to the back edge of the shelves and could be removed. Look how BEAUTIFUL this stand is! This a very well built plant stand made of Tiger Wood Oak and Brass Flowers going down the legs and around the lower stand base. This has really nice hand carved designs on the legs as well as solid brass flowers. There is a slight ring on botton shelf as seen in photo#4. But its hardly noticable. The top table has a nice cut edge design, and would look great in most any room! Really good condition for age. The top table measures 22.5" across. The bottom table measures 16.5" and on the curved parts of the legs measures 22" from outside curve to outside curve. Very Nice Old Antique Oak Woven Cake or Pie Basket w/ Wood Stand Insert
Here's a very nice old or antique large basket with a lid and dual handles we received recently with some estate items. This one is probably from the 1890's to 1920's don't think much newer and possibly a little older. As baskets go this one is in excellent condition with natural darkening and very nice appearance. This is a pie basket or cake basket and has the four legged platform piece that goes inside. The woven splints appear to be oak on this and the top rail is nailed as we show in the pictures. We did not see any signs of damage or abuse. The base is good. Looking on the top you will note that a couple of the oak splints used were not completely cleaned of the bark edge. Leaving a slightly browner streak of bark at the outer edge of these two splints or strips. On one of these a small fragment of the bark has been ... morelost so we'll note and show it in a picture that it should be of little significance. The basket is about 13.5 inches wide and 12 inches deep, it stands about 8.5 inches tall to the cover and 13 inches tall to the top of a handle when the handle is fully upright. Exceptionally nice old woven oak basket suited to continued use when"bringing the pie" or cake) during holidays and family events, or take out the insert and have a moderate sized picnic basket. That's about it. The pictures should be helpful to those having interest. We'll start this old or antique basket low so enjoy the auction. We'll pack this carefully. When packed this will weigh about 4.75 lbs so we'll use USPS Parcel Select service as the lowest cost postal alternative to the buyer. We have no packing or handling charge. Few marker stains on chalk holder shelf, not bad. there also 4 stainless tabs on corner sides of chalkboard, not sure if these are factory or added later, I will leave them. I believe this is oak wood but not 100% sure. Wood framing shows some scratches, scuffs mainly on feet, small piece of wood missing on foot, very small, no cracks or bad chips. Offered without reserve is an old oak plant stand/ fern pedestal from an estate. This stand would date back into the Victorian era circa 1900. It has a fantastic looking turned fluted column and 4 carved claw or paw feet on the bottom. The finish is old and original, it has some age crazing normally seen on an antique piece from this era but it looks very good overall. There are various small dings, light scratches and a small chip in the column shown in the 4th close up photo, the top has some stains but it is what you would expect a piece that is over 100 years old to look like, it is an old original antique. This auction is for an antique most unusual MISSION. ARTS& CRAFTS, Victorian era side accent table. Here comes the story on the table. It sat in the corner of my grandparents summer cottage for all 70 years that they owned the cottage. It originally held a lamp that was an apothecary jar filled with marbles. I only mention that. Because my brother through a"Dick and Jane" book at me, and it broke the lamp, and the marbles went everywhere. Our butts were sore for the entire evening after that. When my family sold the cottage. I just had to have the table. I took it home, placed it in a corner with a huge fern on it until, I moved out of that house in 1988. When I was moving the table is the first time I ever noticed that one& half of the six legs were broken off. I was telling my mom about it, and she laughed and told me ... morethat I must be blind because the legs were gone since before I was born in 1947. She told me that was the reason it was in the corner for all those years. I can't believe I missed it. It never wobbled for me. And, as you can see, it stands straight when you have things placed on it. The top needs refinishing for sure. It has 12 sides to it. And a beading ball rim. The oak body has rounded off ridges running the length of the table. There are cut out diamond shapes around the table. If you can live with the unusual leg problem. And love things in a shabby condition, you could really love this true ARTS& CRAFTS little table. It can be used in many styles of home decor. Such as,Steampunk, Victorian, Arts& Crafts, Gothic, and if you dare to paint it, shabby and chic. Impressive in size and weight and condition/ finish.this stand is designed for a large jardiniere/ planter to be set inside. I've included a pic from their catalog reprin t. T his stand. 1970's Vintage 23 cent Oak Candy Vending Bubblegum Machine with Key and Stand
This listing is for a Rare 1970's Vintage 25 cent Oak Candy Vending Bubblegum Machine with Key and Stand. There are two ding marks on the outside shown in photo 4. But the rest is fine and the interior looks to have never been used. The globe is a very hard clear plastic. But looks like glass. This piece came from a candy vendor that was closing his business. This machine can take candy/nuts up to 1.5 in wide or dispense several small pieces at a time. I am told the interior feed dogs can be turned down so that you can use this machine without using quarters. It easily comes apart to take the money out and/or fill with candy by using the key on top. Easy to remove/unscrew the stand as well if you wanted to use it on a table. 42 in tall and about 15 lbs.
