This beautiful piece was made in England around 1950 and is made from oak. There is a beveled oval mirror in the center. On either side of the seat are umbrella or stick holders with tin trays at the bottom. The hall tree has four standard solid brass hooks. Giving the hall tree a very Jacobean look are some small geometric wood decorations throughout. The seat lifts up to reveal a small storage space below. This hall tree is in very good condition with only very minor wear which you would expect from a piece of this age. It will make a functional and beautiful addition to any discerning home! But i am not sure, could be the ... moreearly 1900s?There are no markings on it that i can see. The Hall Tree is in excellent condition, is very solid, and has a nice aged Patina look. It is about 82-3/4" tall, 24 to 26" wide(at different levels) and 15" deep. The Beveled Mirror is about 17 1/4" wide and 35" high and in very good condition for its age. There are 6 Coat, Cap Hooks, the two on top are Butterfly Hooks( unusual& rare) see picture 5, I have never seen these before or after we got this one) I don't know if they were on the Hall Tree from day one or if someone added them later, they are old and they compliment the attractive decorative carvings on top, plus they do match the cutout pattern above the seat perfectly.see picture 3) The Bench Seat has storage space under the lid. Offered is a wonderful antique Victorian floor model tall hall tree in oak. With 4 fancy hooks at the top, 4 smaller arms 1/3 way down, the pole is ribbed from top to bottom, the base has ball shaped feet. It has acquired a wonderful warm patina from age to the wood. The hall tree is quater sawn tiger oak built around 1890. Everything, I believe, is original including the hooks and umbrella stand. The hall tree is 7' 1/2" tall X 4 feet wide X 16 and 1/2" deep. The finish is in excellent condition and the hardware is original to the mirror and it all matches. Antique Victorian Solid Oak Framed Oval Beveled Mirrored Wall Hall Hat Rack Tree
This is a fantastic original Victorian mirrored hat rack with heavy solid oak frame and beveled oval mirror in the center. It is in very good condition overall. But the large curvy arms on the top two hooks have been removed, leaving just the two smaller hooks on each side of the top. They are fully functional and still attractive as-is, and unless closely inspected, look like they were made that way. All four hooks are intact on both sides of the bottom. The oak frame has a rich dark color and bold grain. All joints are tight and the frame is solid and sturdy. The mirror has some light streakiness and cloudiness, but images still look clear throughout. There is an area of missing silver(shown in the photos) where a piece of the original wood back panel is missing and the silver got scraped off. The coat hooks have a vine design and the mirror is marked on back"1909" Overall condition is good. The mirror has several spots of wear. There is one damaged place on right bottom edge(photo#8) And the bench is missing. I like to fill the"seat" with potted seasonal flowers. Unique Diagonal Vintage Dark Oak Hall Tree: Mirror & Coat/Hat Hooks -1900-1940's
This item is a wonderful Vintage(Antique) Mirror and Coat-hat Hanger combination. It is made from quartersawn oak. The frame is in excellent condition structurally. It has two double hooks on opposite sides. The mirror is intended to hang in a triangular fashion. There are two hanging wires on the back. One is a small wire hook located at the top. The other is a heavier gauge wire located on opposite sides to again hang in a triangular fashion. Please see pics. The back of the wood frame has multiple holes in the corners, my guess is they are from different times it has been hung. The front of the piece is in excellent condition, the wood has been stained, but it is done well. The two hooks are beautifully detailed and well preserved. There is no rust or disintegration of the metal. The mirror is showing its age. The corners/edges have some ... moredamage to the silver. Additionally there are brushstrokes that can be seen in the mirror from when the silver was originally applied. The mirror is beveled about 1 inch from its edge. The mirror is a bit loose inside the frame. When moved the mirror shifts within the frame about a half an inch. Once it is hung this is not an issue. However, this would be easy to stabilize by using a small wedge inserted in the side of the mirror. I am referring to this mirror as a vintage piece, it may well be much older but I do not claim to know the age. The mirror frame measures 20 inches square at its widest point. The hooks are about 4 inches in length and are out from the frame a little less than 3 inches. This beautiful Mirror- Hanger combo weighs approximately 6 lbs. 8 oz. Here is a vintage oak Bentwood coatrack or coat rack. Hall tree. It is 6 feet tall(72 inches) and has a revolving or spinning top. The top portion has 6 upper and 6 lower hangers. The bottom has three legs with a ring that is used for storing umbrellas. Both the upper and the lower ring are made of rubber or very hard plastic. This lighter color wood will match with oak, pine, and other light woods. The piece is in very good condition with only minor wear such as surface scratches. The most noticeable problem is some wear to three of the hangers. The tips are scratched up and one is missing a bit of the wood on it. Hard to see. Of course, unless you are right at eye level. Can also easily be covered up. Not that noticeable unless looking for these imperfections but they are there and I am pointing everything out. Offered for sale is a very nice antique mission oak Arts and Cafts era hall tree or coat rack hat stand. It is a high quality. The hooks are orignal and are wrought iron. No broken or missing hooks. It stands around 74 inches tall and makes a 18.5 inch footprint at the bottom. It weighs around 13 pounds. It is in very good conditon. Some small abrasions. Chips, etc which I have shown in the pictures. There is some white paint rub on the top point, which should come of easily with some extra fine steel wool. In order to keep shipping costs dowm. the base will be disassembled from the pole. Classic Mission style, or Stickley"like" but has no markings or manufacturer information. This is a rare and beautiful quarter sawn tiger oak mirror with original hat hooks. And in very good original condition considering the age. Original mirror, beveled glass, Overall dimensions 28" tall by 36-1/2" Wide; the mirrored area is 23-1/2" wide x 19" tall. Some of the silvering is gone from the back of the plate glass that is the actual mirror itself and you can see dark blotches in the back. Typical of an 1800's piece. There are also a few imperfections in the mirror glass, a sign that the glass itself is original. There are also a few marks from wear on the wood and glass, which you would also expect from a mirror of this age. Antique Oak Hall Tree with Beveled Oval Mirror, Marble Shelf and Brass Fixtures
have an antique. Solid oak hall/door tree in excellent condition. It's approximately 6'6" in height and 36" in width. The top and sides feature fairly intricate carvings with a large, oval beveled mirror featured in the center. There is a small drawer topped by a piece of white marble to use as a mail drop off.
