It has carving that adorns the lift top seat. The seat opens to reveal a storage space for your mittens, gloves or hats. It has the original arms. The only I can see wrong with it is that the bottom is missing plywood and we will replace it prior to shipping. The finish is nice for the age showing minor wear and dings.

Congratulations! You are bidding on a magnificent antique Victorian 1890's Hall seat/tree with bevelled mirror. This one-of-a-kind hall seat is made of solid oak with quarter sawn arms that end in hand carved lions' heads. It has claw feet and decorative carvings on the curved skirt and mirror surround. It has four decorative metal brackets for hanging hats around the mirror. It also has a deep storage seat. Quite frankly. It has the look and feel of a throne! It has been restored with an oak stain and satin polyeurothane finish in order to stand up to the rigors of daily use. It does have one area where the wood panels have separated slightly in the middle of the back of the seat(see pics) but it in no way takes away from the overall look of the piece. this is a wonderful circa 1890 to 1910 oak hall tree in original finish.It has all the original hooks with the lion faces in them.the mirror is beveled and original. the only thing not original in it is the back of the mirror where a replacement board was put on to strengthen it.Its in beautiful as found condition but could use refinishing.It stands 8 feet tall and its 28 1/2 inches wide. the mirror is beveled and original and looks good.the mirror is35" tall and 17" wide.Hard to find a better hall tree than this one.I guess you could say image on hooks is"northwind" and not lion.shipping from maine to eastern U.s. about 200.00 Check out my! There is a carved lions head to the center drawer which is a glove box.Either side of the top there are carved scenes with people in there, there is a top which comes off which is also heavily carved. It has the original beveled mirror which is in good condition. This is far better than the pictures suggests. Its very heavy and solid. Measurements are 90 high 15 deep. 48 wide.

Antique Oak Hall Tree Blue Woflhound Borzoi Tile Mirror Glove Box Drip Pans
Late aesthetic style oak hall tree. Measures 74" tall. 30" wide, 12" deep. Beveled mirror measures about 7"x10" Embellished with two blue ceramic tiles featuring a dog's head, perhaps a wolfhound. These are quite lovely, and in excellent condition. Unfortunately their backs are securely covered with wood, so unable to determine markings, if any. Measure about 7.5" square. Overall in very good condition, sturdy and firm. May have been stained with a darker stain at one time, for there are some nicks and missing bits on a few of the spindles, and the wood does not show as raw. There are some flaws. There is a crack in the bottom of the glove box; this does not show of course. The bottom shelf holding the drip pans has been replaced, and not with oak, but with something that appears to be walnut. It has been ... morestained to match, and is not terribly obtrusive, but it definitely is not original. The drip pans themselves each have a hole or two in them, could be repaired of course. Antique solid oak hall tree. Cowboy set. Has hinged adjustable mirror 18-3/4" long by 13" wide with arched top. Above mirror on each side are shelves to hold candles or oil/kerosene lamps. Under the shelves are rotating 3-hook hangers for ties, and about a foot down from this on both outside walls are hangers for belts. Also on both sides of the mirror and below the mirror are 3 large double curved hangers for hats or clothes. Has a hinged seat with storage underneath. Has towel bar on both sides.
