Instead of the typical lift up lid there is a large drawer at the bottom w. brass handle pull. on the left side behind column is an umbrella holder with original drip pan. The shaped beveled mirror is original, hence there are a few spots and streaks, but doesn't detract from the looks. Total width, including umbrella holder, is 39" depth is 18" height is 80-1/2" We have not refinished this hall tree, the finish appears to be original and is quite good, the piece is structurally strong as well. Made of beautiful sturdy tiger oak. Measures 75 inches tall, 26 inches across the widest part of the mirror. The mirror itself is 19 1/2 inches in diameter. The bench is 18 inches tall and 25 1/2 inches across. The bench raises up to reveal a storage area. Mirror is beveled, has a few dark spots behind it(shown in photos) Of course, no antique is perfect, that's what gives it character! But this piece is in excellent condition overall. For your consideration is this Very Nice Antique Oak Entry Hall Tree. I have been told it dates back to the late 1800s. But i am not sure, could be the early 1900s?There are no markings on it that i can see. The Hall Tree is in excellent condition, is very solid, and has a nice aged Patina look. It is about 82-3/4" tall, 24 to 26" wide(at different levels) and 15" deep. The Beveled Mirror is about 17 1/4" wide and 35" high and in very good condition for its age. There are 6 Coat, Cap Hooks, the two on top are Butterfly Hooks( unusual& rare) see picture 5, I have never seen these before or after we got this one) I don't know if they were on the Hall Tree from day one or if someone added them later, they are old and they compliment the attractive decorative carvings on top, plus they do match the cutout pattern ... moreabove the seat perfectly.see picture 3) The Bench Seat has storage space under the lid. Old Mission Style Hall Tree/ Coat Tree/ Umbrella Stand Oak Up for auction is a lovely old hall tree. The wood is oak. It has 2 umbrella holders. 6 hooks, one enclosed cabinet, and a shelf. I am not sure if the backboard(thinner) wood is oak. The dimensions are: 70" tall 27" wide 11" deep 7" wide umbrella opening. 6" wide at the bottom. The oak framework pieces for the umbrella section are 1 1/4" wide on top, and 2 1/4" wide at the bottom. The short shelf is 11" long x 3" deep Enclosed cabinet is 25" tall x 10" wide x 10" deep Small head nails used throughout. Please note: I do not think that the hooks are original to the piece. And multiple holes have been drilled over the years. The diamond shaped area was for a mirror, but I do not have the mirror. There are 8 original holes to ... morehold the mirror. There are 5 additional holes drilled into the backboard area that are not original. The enclosed cabinet has one shelf but only has only one support piece so the shelf is not installed. Some wear and tear on the bottom of the legs. At the curved top of the unit(a separate piece) that is held in by a groove, there is a bit of damage to the wood. Only a few deep scratches. On the back of the unit. The letters M A W are written. I cannot find a manufacturers stamp. Please see photos for condition. I have described it best I can. And the unit is being sold as is. Turn Of The Century Mission Style Oak/Chestnut Wood? Coat Rack(SEE ALL 12-PHOTOS) Nice overall condition with no structural issues. A nicely age appearance with no cracks. Chips or gouges. NOTE: One of the steel hooks looks to have been replaced at some point in the past(SEE PHOTOS#7 and#8) The hook is exactly the same as the other three. But the"ware/patina" is not at the point of the other hooks. Other than that, there's just your typical 100 years of"general ware" I can not tell for certain what wood is used. I believe it's either oak or chestnut. Measures 70" tall overall. The post is 2-1/2" x 2-1/4" and the base(leg width) measures 23-1/2" across. The steel hooks measure 6" long and stick out 3-5/8 inches. Unit weight: 14 lbs. 5 ozs.

Up or auction is an INCREDIBLE antique late 1890's-1920's Arts& Crafts Ball& Stick solid oak hall tree. This is a wonderful example of ball and stick design. There are 5! beveled glass mirrors and wonderful carvings to go with the top. Middle and lower ball& stick galleries. So much work went into this. There is a hammered brass umbrella stand with barley twist bars to hold the tops. There are WONDERFUL Eastlake style coat hangers all present and matching. The are mounted to turned wood disks that float with sticks inside a wood frame. There is a real show piece hand carved oak detail of raised rectangles at the main center that is just incredible to think it was hand carved. Two matching sun ray designs are above and below the mirror. Lastly there is a wonderful little drawer below the seat with telling joinery that dates ... morethis to the machine age. The corner joints are routered pins and holes in half round circles(Anyone who knows the name of this joinery I would love to know) This piece measures 83" tall x 29" wide x 16" deep. It is not a huge piece. In fact I believe the top crown to have been added to give height to this piece. I only have a very slight color change to go by and VERY WELL may be wrong but perhaps the house this was going into needed a little more height. There are little flame points at the top and ball and stick with the square posts matching perfectly so it is an old addition if at all. You can see how it would look with out it as this comes right out of its four mount holes. This is a piece to see in person. Vintage Antique Oak Hall Stand/Tree We have owned since 1978. The piece has a lovely beveled mirror. Nice size storage bench with flip top and 4 double hooks. The oak top and throughout the piece has lovely carved detailing. There is one small piece missing(see picture) There is also some splintering around bench due to age of piece. One small repair on the top of bench. 2"x2" which was done before we bought it. I made a cushion for the top of the bench so we never minded it. Too small to notice. Unique Diagonal Vintage Oak Hall Tree w/Mirror & Coat/Hat Hooks -1900-1940's
This item is a wonderful Vintage(Antique) Mirror and Coat-hat Hanger combination. It is made from quartersawn oak. The frame is in excellent condition structurally. It has two double hooks on opposite sides. The mirror is intended to hang in a triangular fashion. There are two hanging wires on the back. One is a small wire hook located at the top. The other is a heavier gauge wire located on opposite sides to again hang in a triangular fashion. Please see pics. The back of the wood frame has multiple holes in the corners, my guess is they are from different times it has been hung. The front of the piece is in excellent condition, the wood has been stained, but it is done well. The two hooks are beautifully detailed and well preserved. There is no rust or disintegration of the metal. The mirror is showing its age. The corners/edges have some ... moredamage to the silver. Additionally there are brushstrokes that can be seen in the mirror from when the silver was originally applied. The mirror is beveled about 1 inch from its edge. The mirror is a bit loose inside the frame. When moved the mirror shifts within the frame about a half an inch. Once it is hung this is not an issue. However, this would be easy to stabilize by using a small wedge inserted in the side of the mirror. I am referring to this mirror as a vintage piece, it may well be much older but I do not claim to know the age. The mirror frame measures 20 inches square at its widest point. The hooks are about 4 inches in length and are out from the frame a little less than 3 inches. This beautiful Mirror- Hanger combo weighs approximately 6 lbs. 8 oz. This Quartersawn Oak Mirror would make a wonderful addition to your home. I have more pictures available if you would like me to send them to you. Antique Hall Tree Coat Rack Victorian Edwardian Oak Original Hardware & Mirror
Here's a FANTASTIC antique hall tree/ coat rack/ seat bench from the late Victorian or early Edwardian period. I'd say it was made c1890s to c1910. It's in EXCELLENT condition with it's original hardware. Finish and handsome beveled class mirror. The seat lifts for a storage area, however the bottom section within is mission and can easily be replaced for resumed use and not be at all visible either way unless one lifts up the seat. If this were for sale at an antiques store it would easily be priced over $450 to $550 and is worth every bit of that. It came from an old New England home. Item is in overall acceptable condition with a shrinkage crack on the left side. Top right corner has a small piece under the top ledge that's cracked, bottom left has some cracks at the corners and the lock needs to be shimmed to keep closed. The lock has no key. Up for auction is a beautiful and original condition antique late 1800's large scale Victorian hall tree in gorgeous tiger oak. This piece is from the same estate as the large armoire I am currently listing and is in the same pristine original condition. Great large piece or a large Victorian.
