There are some light surface scratches on the finish, but this is normal wear for a piece that most likely dates to the 1910’s or early ‘20s. The stand has the original hardware coat hooks on it. It has an rectangular beveled mirror at the top center, and one small compartment, or glove box, with a hinged lid between the side braces that are meant to hold umbrellas. The piece has some lightly carved detail on it, as well as a lovely delicate cut-out pattern. There is some light damage at the front of one of the side rails, as well as a bit more wear to the finish on the front legs.

The small 1/2 moon mirror near the top is in great condition and the large beveled mirror is great with very slight haziness(it measures 39" H by 17-1/2" W) The marble shelf has some small flea bite chips along the edge and one larger chip on the back edge next to the wood(it is 8" by 14" There are no coat hooks and it does not appear to have ever had any. As with any antique furniture there are going to be some character flaws but I have pointed out everything even slightly major. It stands 89" tall. 23" wide, and 10" deep. Antique Oak Hall Tree Blue Woflhound Borzoi Tile Mirror Glove Box Drip Pans
Late aesthetic style oak hall tree. Measures 74" tall. 30" wide, 12" deep. Beveled mirror measures about 7"x10" Embellished with two blue ceramic tiles featuring a dog's head, perhaps a wolfhound. These are quite lovely, and in excellent condition. Unfortunately their backs are securely covered with wood, so unable to determine markings, if any. Measure about 7.5" square. Overall in very good condition, sturdy and firm. May have been stained with a darker stain at one time, for there are some nicks and missing bits on a few of the spindles, and the wood does not show as raw. There are some flaws. There is a crack in the bottom of the glove box; this does not show of course. The bottom shelf holding the drip pans has been replaced, and not with oak, but with something that appears to be walnut. It has been ... morestained to match, and is not terribly obtrusive, but it definitely is not original. The drip pans themselves each have a hole or two in them, could be repaired of course. Antique Ornate Victorian Cast Iron Hook from old Hall Tree or Mirror, need bolt
This is a beautiful old cast iron hook with four places to hang items. This antique hook is large and decorated with stylized flowers and leaves. It is marked Pat Pend on the back for patent pending. It is about 4 1/2 inches tall and 4 7/8 inches wide. We think this was originally used on an old mirror or hall tree. On the back there is a threaded hole that is about 1/4 inch in diameter. You need a bolt for the threaded hole to attach them both to a frame. We do not have the bolt.

This is a pair of beautiful old cast iron hooks. These antique hooks are large and have an ornate pattern. Each hook is about 4 1/2 inches long. We think these were originally used on an old mirror or hall tree. One hook has a threaded hole that is about 1/8 inch in diameter. The other has a non-threaded hole and was held in place by the first hook. You need a bolt for the threaded hole to attach them both to a frame. We do not have the bolt.

This is an absolutely beautiful solid walnut Victorian hall tree/umbrella stand. It measures 73 inches tall. 32 inches wide at the base and 26 inches wide at the top. It has the original mirror which measures 19x11 and a dove-tailed drawer with the original 12x8 marble shelf. There are six'dowel' hangers and two copper lined insets for your umbrellas. The sides are decoratively carved and there is a carved front inset. The top has a carved applique. It has been refinished with a natural stain and four coats of tung oil. The piece is in excellent condition with no'dings' or scratches. The mirror does show some wear. It is available for pick-up in the Louisa and/or Kilmarnock, VA area.

For sale an Antique Tiger Oak Hall Tree w/ Bench Storage. Round Beveled Mirror, 4 double Copper Hooks, and umbrella Stand. Dates to the early 1900's, I would say about the 1920's. Made of beautiful sturdy tiger oak. Measures 75 inches tall, 26 inches across the widest part of the mirror. The mirror itself is 19 1/2 inches in diameter. The bench is 18 inches tall and 25 1/2 inches across. The bench raises up to reveal a storage area. Mirror is beveled, has a few dark spots behind it(shown in photos) Of course, no antique is perfect, that's what gives it character! But this piece is in excellent condition overall. Has a small old split in the wood across the back(shown in photos) This could be easily repaired if wanted. Has carvings on the top corners and across the back. I'm no expert but it favors tiger oak.This piece came from a western North Carolina farm house.It's very sturdy with brass coat rack and hat hangers. It has a beautiful beveled mirror in great shape as well.It also had a brass umbrella ring. It has beautiful detailing. It only has some wood separation on the seat but not bad still vey sturdy. For your consideration is this Very Nice Antique Oak Entry Hall Tree. I have been told it dates back to the late 1800s. But i am not sure, could be the early 1900s?There are no markings on it that i can see. The Hall Tree is in excellent condition, is very solid, and has a nice aged Patina look. It is about 82-3/4" tall, 24 to 26" wide(at different levels) and 15" deep. The Beveled Mirror is about 17 1/4" wide and 35" high and in very good condition for its age. There are 6 Coat, Cap Hooks, the two on top are Butterfly Hooks( unusual& rare) see picture 5, I have never seen these before or after we got this one) I don't know if they were on the Hall Tree from day one or if someone added them later, they are old and they compliment the attractive decorative carvings on top, plus they do match the cutout pattern ... moreabove the seat perfectly.see picture 3) The Bench Seat has storage space under the lid. With its small footprint, it can make an impressive statement in a very small space. The hall tree is 7 feet tall. It's 29" wide at the top. At the mirror, and only 19" wide at the base, and 15 1/4" deep. Overall. The hall tree is in beautiful condition. However, there are a few things that require mention: There are very small recessed nails along the sides of the surface above the drawer; they can easily be filled(see photos) There is wear to the base on the outer corners(see photo) The back of the knob on the drawer front is chipped(see photo) There are some fine scratches on the glass surface of the mirror. Unique Diagonal Vintage Oak Hall Tree w/Mirror & Coat/Hat Hooks -1900-1940's
This item is a wonderful Vintage(Antique) Mirror and Coat-hat Hanger combination. It is made from quartersawn oak. The frame is in excellent condition structurally. It has two double hooks on opposite sides. The mirror is intended to hang in a triangular fashion. There are two hanging wires on the back. One is a small wire hook located at the top. The other is a heavier gauge wire located on opposite sides to again hang in a triangular fashion. Please see pics. The back of the wood frame has multiple holes in the corners, my guess is they are from different times it has been hung. The front of the piece is in excellent condition, the wood has been stained, but it is done well. The two hooks are beautifully detailed and well preserved. There is no rust or disintegration of the metal. The mirror is showing its age. The corners/edges have some ... moredamage to the silver. Additionally there are brushstrokes that can be seen in the mirror from when the silver was originally applied. The mirror is beveled about 1 inch from its edge. The mirror is a bit loose inside the frame. When moved the mirror shifts within the frame about a half an inch. Once it is hung this is not an issue. However, this would be easy to stabilize by using a small wedge inserted in the side of the mirror. I am referring to this mirror as a vintage piece, it may well be much older but I do not claim to know the age. The mirror frame measures 20 inches square at its widest point. The hooks are about 4 inches in length and are out from the frame a little less than 3 inches. This beautiful Mirror- Hanger combo weighs approximately 6 lbs. 8 oz. It is in very good condition.Very dark brown original color and patina.Hand carved decoration. Size 57" tall and 31" wide the top shell is close to 5" thick by the top. Huge Shield shape with center oval mirror.Size of the mirror 20" x 13" the hangars are 4 1/2" long. Very heavy and massive original walnut antique piece.
