This majestic 19th century piece is positively stunning and features an ornately carved crest. Raised panels of burl walnut, carved rosettes, incised carvings, the original mirrors and the original recessed beveled edge marble top, with shaped walnut display shelves flanking the center mirror. Truly a grand statement piece you would be proud to showcase in your home. This fabulous étagère measures 105 1/2 inches( 8' 9 1/2" in total height. Height to the marble at the base is 29 3/4 inches, with a total width of 54 inches and total depth at the base of 19 inches and this étagère weighs approximately 250 lbs total but does dis-assemble into 3 pieces for easier handling during shipping and moving. The original mirror at the center measures 46 3/4 inches in height by 22 1/2 inches wide. This Victorian étagère is in fantastic antique condition. The original mirrors do show some mild spidering silver loss as common with old mirrors. And the original white beveled edge recessed marble top has no chips or cracks but does have some mild discoloration as age appropriate. There is also a small age shrinkage area to the wood by the bottom mirror on the right side see picture of close-up, and a piece of burl veneer missing on the left side towards the back; see close up picture. Neither of these affects the integrity or beauty this elegant piece offers. The locks are intact on the drawer and the cabinet below but the key provided just aids in opening the drawer and the cabinet. There are flat grooved columns on each side with hooks at top, they are connected ... moreto back with a shelf. Applied carving adorns the crest with hook on each side. Instead of the typical lift up lid there is a large drawer at the bottom w. brass handle pull. on the left side behind column is an umbrella holder with original drip pan. The shaped beveled mirror is original, hence there are a few spots and streaks, but doesn't detract from the looks. Total width, including umbrella holder, is 39" depth is 18" height is 80-1/2" We have not refinished this hall tree, the finish appears to be original and is quite good, the piece is structurally strong as well. Stunning Original Black Forest Carved Bears Hall Tree Umbrella Stand
Selling for a estate this great almost 8 foot Black Forest carved bear and cubs hall tree umbrella stand. This comes in 3 parts top and bottom and the tail that holds the umbrellas comes off as well. It has age cracks in the wood as you can see in the photos. The hand carving is excellent and this one is a little different as it has 2 baby bear cubs playing at the top. Probably late 1800's and from Germany or Switzerland. The color of the wood is a wonderful warm brown. This is real and old and just an outstanding example.

Secondary wd appears to be all oak and the hardware is all original except for two replaced screws. Ornate Antique Solid Brass Coat Hat Rack Hall Tree Stand
This looked too ornate and had too much potential to be scrapped as brass. This looks to be solid brass. They don't make them like this any more. Weighs roughly 12 lbs and is roughly 73.5 inches tall(6'1.5" Some of the screws have broken off and need to be extracted. One screw remains that can be used to match new screws. Please see pictures. A great project for someone. The scrap price for brass is roughly $2 a lbs so the opening bid is set to $24 which would be the scrap price for this brass coat stand. I hope this is bought and not sent for scrap.

The ONLY thing that is wrong with it was that it did not have it's Original Brass can for the umbrellas, I found one that almost fit perfectly and my dad shaved off a quarter inch on the inside so that it does now fit perfectly! Antique Victorian ornate Cast Iron Gold Gilt Gargoyle Coat Rack Hall Tree stand. Has gargoyle heads on the coat holders. 3 Hoop umbrella holder and rod cap for hat holder. 71 1/4" tall. Gargoyle feet spread out approx. 18 1/2" from one foot to another and 11" from the main pole. Coat hook/ gargoyle head stick out 6 1/2" from the pole. Good condition with paint loss and scuffs and scratches. Assembly required. Flat head screwdriver/ pliers will be needed. May not need pliers. Antique American Rococo Cast Iron Hall Tree Umbrella Stand 19th C. Eagle
Absolutely stunning American Rococo style cast iron hall tree/ umbrella stand. This piece is in absolutely beautiful condition. This hall tree stands 79" tall. Measures about 28" wide, and approximately 15" deep. I believe this is likely mid 19th Century based on comparable hall trees I have researched. Very heavy, heavy piece, parts of it do come apart- mainly the coat/clothes hooks, and the top piece. There is a separate umbrella tray that comes out. The mirror rotates and is on a ball joint. Beautiful design appears to represent flowing branches, leaves, and flowers and at the top of the mirror a beautiful eagle. Do not know if this was originally off white, but almost certain this has been painted sometime in the past. An incredibly beautiful antique piece.
