It is in very good condition, and even has the little metal inserts that are at the bottom ... moreand catch the water that runs off of umbrellas. There are some light surface scratches on the finish, but this is normal wear for a piece that most likely dates to the 1910’s or early ‘20s. The stand has the original hardware coat hooks on it. It has an rectangular beveled mirror at the top center, and one small compartment, or glove box, with a hinged lid between the side braces that are meant to hold umbrellas. The piece has some lightly carved detail on it, as well as a lovely delicate cut-out pattern. There is some light damage at the front of one of the side rails, as well as a bit more wear to the finish on the front legs.

A beautiful quarter sawn oak American hall tree from 1880-1920. The oval mirror is in great condition. And measures 17 1/2" wide x 39 1/2" long with a one inch bevel. It has old hardware and could very well be original as the marks on wood behind the hdwe matches, but I don't know for sure. The seat fits very nicely. This has been professionally restored completely at one time. The top and bottom breaks down into two pieces, great for shipping. BOTTOM measures: 33" wide x 16 3/4" depth x 47 1/4" tall. A beveled 13 1/2" square angled mirror and four Gargoyle hat/coat hooks adorn this beautiful piece. The back of the mirror is marked'B& Co. 1895' The 22" x 14 1/4" seat opens to an 8" deep storage area. This is an absolutely beautiful solid walnut Victorian hall tree/umbrella stand. It measures 73 inches tall. 32 inches wide at the base and 26 inches wide at the top. It has the original mirror which measures 19x11 and a dove-tailed drawer with the original 12x8 marble shelf. There are six'dowel' hangers and two copper lined insets for your umbrellas. The sides are decoratively carved and there is a carved front inset. The top has a carved applique. It has been refinished with a natural stain and four coats of tung oil. The piece is in excellent condition with no'dings' or scratches. The mirror does show some wear. It is available for pick-up in the Louisa and/or Kilmarnock, VA area.

For sale an Antique Tiger Oak Hall Tree w/ Bench Storage. Round Beveled Mirror, 4 double Copper Hooks, and umbrella Stand. Dates to the early 1900's, I would say about the 1920's. Made of beautiful sturdy tiger oak. Measures 75 inches tall, 26 inches across the widest part of the mirror. The mirror itself is 19 1/2 inches in diameter. The bench is 18 inches tall and 25 1/2 inches across. The bench raises up to reveal a storage area. Mirror is beveled, has a few dark spots behind it(shown in photos) Of course, no antique is perfect, that's what gives it character! But this piece is in excellent condition overall. Very unique umbrella stand/ hat rack. Purchased from an estate sale- the only thing I know is the estate belonged to a WWII War Bride from France. Most of her furniture was from France and Germany. This particular piece does not have a makers mark. But it is obviously very old. It does have wear, a couple of small cracks and is slightly loose. The bottom is iron and the removable tray is also handmade. I tried to show this in one of the pictures- you can see where the bottom edges have been folded over when it was made. I am not sure if the backboard(thinner) wood is oak. The dimensions are: 70" tall 27" wide 11" deep 7" wide umbrella opening. 6" wide at the bottom. The oak framework pieces for the umbrella section are 1 1/4" wide on top, and 2 1/4" wide at the bottom. The short shelf is 11" long x 3" deep Enclosed cabinet is 25" tall x 10" wide x 10" deep Small head nails used throughout. Please note: I do not think that the hooks are original to the piece. And multiple holes have been drilled over the years. The diamond shaped area was for a mirror, but I do not have the mirror. There are 8 original holes to ... morehold the mirror. There are 5 additional holes drilled into the backboard area that are not original. The enclosed cabinet has one shelf but only has only one support piece so the shelf is not installed. Some wear and tear on the bottom of the legs. At the curved top of the unit(a separate piece) that is held in by a groove, there is a bit of damage to the wood. Only a few deep scratches. On the back of the unit. The letters M A W are written. I cannot find a manufacturers stamp. Please see photos for condition. I have described it best I can. And the unit is being sold as is. Vintage original mid century modern coat hat stand. The top is octagon shape. Hooks has copper finish, 69" x 22" There is some fraying in the wood, normal for a stand of this age.
