This piece came from Europe and is truly Baroque style. This is very ornately hand carved. The drip pans for the umbrella stands are missing and there is a split in the bottom shelf that runs across where the drip pans would be. There are 4 wooden dowels that serve as racks to hold hats or coats on the upper portion of the stand. Originally I believe there were 6 racks but looks like 2 are missing. There is a long oval mirror in the center upper portion of the back. The mirror looks very old. It may be the original mirror. There is a lot of discoloration around the edges of the mirror. There is a glove box in the center of the stand with a hinged lid. There are bun feet on the front. This item is in great condition for being 200 years old however it is antique and will not be perfect. I do not know the exact age or who made it. This stand measures 76 7/8 inches tall, 30 ¾ inches side to side and 14 ¾ inches front to back. It weighs 54 pounds. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested. Condition: Unspecified Location: East Hampton, United States Art Deco Wrought Iron Hall Tree A French wrought iron hall tree. 78" x 28" x 8 1/2" deep, the two straight and single sinuous line verticals ... moreon either side extending to nearly the full height and framing openwork elements including(from the bottom up) a rectangle with coils within it within a square set out from the main body, a hemisphere with undulating coils surmounted by a naturalistically-rendered rose, a vase sprouting a second naturalistically-rendered rose with tendrils, and a mirror surround outlined in Glasgow roses, a sunburst surmounting all, a shelf immediately below the sunburst and four hat hooks just below this, the three triangular feet terminating in flattened points that allow the tree to stand freely. Hammer marks abound throughout the sturdy construction(weight, approximately 65 lbs. Unsigned. Circa 1925. Two of the leaves among those constituting the surround to the naturalistic rose at the top of the elliptical element below the mirror have recently been repaired. That is, the iron element representing a plant stem(approximately 1/8" diameter) with the leaves attached to it, was cleanly broken at its original weld point(i.e. basally) some years ago, and is now expertly repaired(re-welded, by a professional ironworker) The piece is 4" long, and both it and its point of attachment on the larger whole are without loss. This re-weld matches the others on the piece as regards size, shape and color. The hat hook on the far left and that on the far right are slightly loose. That is, they swivel on the rods that attach them to the frame. The mirror, held by four metal tabs on the back(one on each side) is not original; a small piece(approximately 1/2" square) of glass is missing in the upper right corner, though the mirror is covered around its edges by the wrought iron, and the missing piece is scarcely noticeable. It is about 82-3/4" tall, 24 to 26" wide(at different levels) and 15" deep. The Beveled Mirror is about 17 1/4" wide and 35" high and in very good condition for its age. There are 6 Coat, Cap Hooks, the two on top are Butterfly Hooks( unusual& rare) see picture 5, I have never seen these before or after we got this one) I don't know if they were on the Hall Tree from day one or if someone added them later, they are old and they compliment the attractive decorative carvings on top, plus they do match the cutout pattern above the seat perfectly.see picture 3) The Bench Seat has storage space under the lid. Victorian Hat Rack Hall Mirror STEER HORNS
This is an antique Victorian hall mirror. Adorned with steer horns, and Victorian hooks for hats. This is from my parents estate. Although I suspect that the horns may have been added later. I do know that for all of my 60+ years they have been proudly topping this mirror. The horns span 25" from tip to tip. The mirror is 39 1/2" tall and 30" wide. From wall to horn tip. It juts out 13 1/2" The mirror is beveled. But there are scratches on it from inconsiderate movers. One of the hooks is original. The long one the London top hat is on. The others are from the era, but my guess is that they are replacements, and need antique screws to complete them. The mirror was originally in my great grandfathers office in Chicago, and passed to my parents in 1951. There are two holes in the wood where the mirror was affixed securely ... moreto the wall. Antique Oak Hall Tree Blue Woflhound Borzoi Tile Mirror Glove Box Drip Pans
Late aesthetic style oak hall tree. Measures 74" tall. 30" wide, 12" deep. Beveled mirror measures about 7"x10" Embellished with two blue ceramic tiles featuring a dog's head, perhaps a wolfhound. These are quite lovely, and in excellent condition. Unfortunately their backs are securely covered with wood, so unable to determine markings, if any. Measure about 7.5" square. Overall in very good condition, sturdy and firm. May have been stained with a darker stain at one time, for there are some nicks and missing bits on a few of the spindles, and the wood does not show as raw. There are some flaws. There is a crack in the bottom of the glove box; this does not show of course. The bottom shelf holding the drip pans has been replaced, and not with oak, but with something that appears to be walnut. It has been ... morestained to match, and is not terribly obtrusive, but it definitely is not original. The drip pans themselves each have a hole or two in them, could be repaired of course. Lovely old Ogee Mirror or frame found at an Estate Sale in Virginia in the 1980s. Maintained in my non-smoking home. This is the perfect size for over a small bathroom sink. In a hall by the coat tree to check your hat, or tucked anywhere. Actual size is approximately 18-3/4" x 22-3/8. The frame is deep, with three main parts. The mahogany veneer has lovely variations/flames. The piece can be used as a mirror. Or would be lovely as a frame for a period portrait. The frame is in lovely condition with only one small area of veneer loss. It came with a thick. Heavy mirror and a substantial solid wood back. The back was semi-secured, and when I removed the nails, I found an inscription, which is shown in one of the photos. The mirror has some slight(but age appropriate) silvering losses. Nice Walnut Victorian Hall/parlor mirror. I have had this for the last 10 years and recently bought a overmantle mirror so I am selling this. Nice medium sized wall mirror. 42 inches tall 25 inches wide. This mirror has some really nice incised carving on it and a very nice top pediment. Simply I nice mirror that would look nice anywhere. The mirror has some very minor silvering loss spotting at the top of the mirror but it really doesn't detract from it. These mirrors are getting harder to find with their original finish because"uninformed' individuals insist on painting these white. Not offering shipping on this. 1800's antique cherry stick and ball hall mirror hat and coat rack philadelphia
for sale about the nicest stick and ball hall mirror. Hat, coat rack i have ever owned. it is presented in its original finish. i do not believe there is a piece missing anywhere and if there is any damage of any kind it is so small i have over looked it. at any rate, a wonderful cherry stick and ball hanging mirror with hat and coat hooks, 6 or them. the mirror is bad, however, it is original. if i sell it and the new owner wants me to remove the old silver and back the old glass with a new mirror i will do so for the cost of a new mirror. that would be less than 20 dollars, probably about 12.00. the mirror is 12 inches by 12 inches. the piece is 32 inches wide and 24 inches tall. it has a nicely carved crest at the top. all the fret work is perfect as far as i can tell. the very nice all brass hooks are 4 inches long and a couple have minor ... morebends in them, which could be corrected with little effort. the back over the mirror was a bit loose so i took it off so i could re nail it. in doing so, i discovered and newspaper which was the philadelphia ledger and was dated like 1884 i think, it should show in the picture i have listed. anyway, this paper was folded to keep the mirror from moving within the frame. i do not know if that was placed there when the piece was made and done so at a later date. at any rate, the mirror probably was made or originated in or about philadelphia. it is a fantastic piece, the pictures are terrible, it is 100 times nicer in person. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyers expense. i expect it will go usps for about 30 or 40.00. good luck

Antique Victorian Tiger Stripe Triangle 3 Hook Entry Wall Hall Mirror Hat Rack
This is a beautiful and unique triangular mirrored hat rack from right around the turn of the 20th century. The mirror is thick. In very good condition with no silver loss(just a few tiny black spots) and has hand scalloped edges. Each of the three mirror corners is covered with an elegant brass ormolu overlay. The brass corners are nailed down with small rounded top nails, but two of the nails have been replaced with newer, larger ones. The wooden frame is smooth and contoured with a nice tiger stripe finish. The finish is in good condition overall with some chips and scuffs, most of which have been touched up, as shown in the photos. There is still some visible chipping where one of the hooks meets the frame, and it could easily be touched after removing the hook. All three hooks look original. There is a replacement paper backing and a ... morethin hanging wire. The outer measurements of the frame are 26 3/4" W x 14" H. Antique Ornate Victorian Cast Iron Hook from old Hall Tree or Mirror, need bolt
This is a beautiful old cast iron hook with four places to hang items. This antique hook is large and decorated with stylized flowers and leaves. It is marked Pat Pend on the back for patent pending. It is about 4 1/2 inches tall and 4 7/8 inches wide. We think this was originally used on an old mirror or hall tree. On the back there is a threaded hole that is about 1/4 inch in diameter. You need a bolt for the threaded hole to attach them both to a frame. We do not have the bolt.

This is a pair of beautiful old cast iron hooks. These antique hooks are large and have an ornate pattern. Each hook is about 4 1/2 inches long. We think these were originally used on an old mirror or hall tree. One hook has a threaded hole that is about 1/8 inch in diameter. The other has a non-threaded hole and was held in place by the first hook. You need a bolt for the threaded hole to attach them both to a frame. We do not have the bolt.

Vintage Oak Hall Tree Mirror with Coat/Hat Hooks
This item is a wonderful Vintage(Antique) Mirror and Coat-hat Hanger combination. It is made from quartersawn oak. The frame is in excellent condition structurally. It has two double hooks on opposite sides. The mirror is intended to hang in a triangular fashion. There are two hanging wires on the back. One is a small wire hook located at the top. The other is a heavier gauge wire located on opposite sides to again hang in a triangular fashion. Please see pics. The back of the wood frame has multiple holes in the corners, my guess is they are from different times it has been hung. The front of the piece is in excellent condition, the wood has been stained, but it is done well. The two hooks are beautifully detailed and well preserved. There is no rust or disintegration of the metal. The mirror is showing its age. The corners/edges have some ... moredamage to the silver. Additionally there are brushstrokes that can be seen in the mirror from when the silver was originally applied. The mirror is beveled about 1 inch from its edge. The mirror is a bit loose inside the frame. When moved the mirror shifts within the frame about a half an inch. Once it is hung this is not an issue. However, this would be easy to stabilize by using a small wedge inserted in the side of the mirror. I am referring to this mirror as a vintage piece, it may well be much older but I do not claim to know the age. The mirror frame measures 20 inches square at its widest point. The hooks are about 4 inches in length and are out from the frame a little less than 3 inches. This beautiful Mirror- Hanger combo weighs approximately 6 lbs. 8 oz. This Quartersawn Oak Mirror would make a wonderful addition to your home. I have more pictures available if you would like me to send them to you. antique hand mirror - beveled - sterling silver - Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co
Antique sterling silver hand mirror. Made by Simpson. Hall, Miller& Co- see hallmark photo) which was later bought by International Silver company in 1898. The top surface of the beveled glass mirror sits up higher than the rim and thus has scratches from being placed and slid mirror side down on dressers/vanities/tables over many decades, but the glass being higher than the rim also means that the scratches could be polished out without removing the mirror(see photo- due to refraction, the scratchs show up double and in places look like they extend to the beveled portion, but they are only on the top flat surface and about 1/2 as many as it appears in the photo) The outside of the handle and rim have some small dents that would be expected in a mirror that has seen long use, and the convex back has some small, shallow dents in the monogram ... morearea from being set down on that side(see photos) Scrolled monogram appears to be EHS

This auction is for a great old metal mirror. The frame is all metal. I am unsure of the age of this mirror. The metal work is very nice. The mirror measures 13 by 23 inches and the total piece is 17 by 34 inches. The mirror is quite heavy which leads me to believe it is old or very well made reproduction. It is in great shape. The mirror is perfect rectangle. I had to take the pictures angled due to the reflection. This is a nice sturdy heavy mirror. I would recommend a wall anchor when mounting on a wall.

This is an absolutely beautiful solid walnut Victorian hall tree/umbrella stand. It measures 73 inches tall. 32 inches wide at the base and 26 inches wide at the top. It has the original mirror which measures 19x11 and a dove-tailed drawer with the original 12x8 marble shelf. There are six'dowel' hangers and two copper lined insets for your umbrellas. The sides are decoratively carved and there is a carved front inset. The top has a carved applique. It has been refinished with a natural stain and four coats of tung oil. The piece is in excellent condition with no'dings' or scratches. The mirror does show some wear. It is available for pick-up in the Louisa and/or Kilmarnock, VA area.

19th Century Pier. Wall , Hall Mirror
A very nice early 19th century pier mirror in Mahogany with cross banding and unusual Birdseye Maple inset panel above the mirror plate. The mirror surround has two spindle turned side columns supporting a flat plinth with deep gadrooned cornice running below.The mirror frame is in very good condition with just one tiny veneer repair to very bottom left hand corner. Minor scuff mark to mirror. Overall a superb example of an early pier mirror with a beautiful deep patina. Size 65cm x 47.5cm approximately.

Made of beautiful sturdy tiger oak. Measures 75 inches tall, 26 inches across the widest part of the mirror. The mirror itself is 19 1/2 inches in diameter. The bench is 18 inches tall and 25 1/2 inches across. The bench raises up to reveal a storage area.
