First. This measures 15/16" in diameter. This is a beautiful antique brass Victorian button with VERY Victorian designs on it, cattails and a butterfly, then a center stripe with a floral swag. It is marked on the back SA Industrie Parisienne. It's a nice, thick, sturdy button. 1967 Holton Collegiate Trumpet T602 Vintage Brass
I buy storage units at auction and found this inside on of my recent lockers. I researched the serial number and found it to be a 1967 but know nothing more about it. It is stamped T602 and the mouthpiece is stamped 7c by holton. The keys press and return to position. The plating is in pretty bad shape with lots if spots where it has lost it's shine and would need restoring I assume. Comes as pictured in case with cleaning tool. Antique 19th Century Middle Eastern Islamic Bronze Brass Bowl- Camel. Deer, Cat This is an antique Middle Eastern Islamic brass bowl or pot with pictures of deer. A cat and camel inscribed on the surface. This came from an enthusiast in antique Islamic items. The bowl measures 9" in diameter at the widest point in the middle, and stands 5.5" high. It measures 5.5" at the base and the hole at the top measures 6" in diameter. It appears to be in good condition, with wear commensurate with age. This is an awesome piece. About 3/4" long. Approx 1" wide. I think it is a pendant it is very charming and appears to be of great value. don't even know exactly what it is. I got it from an estate auction. It had a tag attached from a"Butterfield and Butterfield" auction yellow sticker on one side with"4157/4" and"4UWV0 29 E.6645V" on the other side of tag. I am pretty certain it is brass but it could possibly be gold. No markings that I can find. Very jingly bells make a great loud beautiful sound and it has little blue turquoise inlaid jewels which I do believe to be real turquoise but I cannot authenticate. Two Antique Bezalel Judaica Israel Islamic Brass Bowls Ottoman Hebrew Arabic
This listing is for two Vintage Bezalel/ Israel/ Judaica/Middle Eastern Engraved Brass bowls. Both with image of a man wearing a robe/ shawl on the bottom of the bowl. Which seems to be the same portrait, one inscribed in Hebrew, and one in Arabic, neither of which I have been able to make out or translate. If you can make out or read either of the writings, please let me know. 4 7/8 inches diameter by 2 inches height. And 4 7/8 inches widest diameter by 2 1/16 inches height. Both of the bowls have a turned lip and a patina on the interior. Both have details done in engraving/ etching and in Repousse. Both in excellent antique condition with minor pitting/ discolorations as shown. Brass metal with mother of pearl buttons and cork and fittings. The Martin Indiana. Elkhart IND. Serial number on the back under RMC in shield is 83167. I do not know much about saxophones in general and even less about the origin or specifics of this 1 in particular. Brown leather case lined with red plush fabric. Is worn and showing age but intact and functional. 2 sections= 1 larger for body of saxophone 1 smaller in the corner. Also a snap buckle closure storage box that contains several items(see picture) They seem to be a leather carrying strap with metal adjusting buckle and hook, black mouthpiece marked Noblet Paris, a white plastic mouthpiece cover, a brass metal mouthpiece cover, A silver colored metal retaining ring with two thumb screws and a brass metal clip shaped like a music stand marked RMC. The smaller brass piece that goes ... morebetween the saxophone body and the mouthpiece measures 7" Has a cork wrap around the smaller end. It has a matching serial number of 83167. The actual saxophone body itself shows wear to the finish. It measures approximately 22 inches long. Almost 5 inches across the large bell opening and approximately 1 inch across the opening where the other parts fits in. Railroad Car Window Stops or Latches - Group of 15 - Solid Brass
This auction is for a group of 15 Railroad Car Window Stops or Incremental Stops. There are 10 of a matching style(one of these has a bend in the bolt) 2 of the locks have a Victorian pattern on the face(these are painted black) and 3 miscellaneous stops. All are ma de of cast brass- no magnet a ttraction. The activation of the latch is simple. Pinch the two levers together and the bolt retreats back into the case. Antique CENTRAL STATION STEAM CO Cadillac Meter Cast Iron Brass Turbine Impeller
This Chicago S team Co. Cad illac Conde nser Meter is the neatest steam re lated item I have ever seen. It is gauged to measure RPM or speed by the turning of the Impeller or T urbine on the inside of the cast iron housing. It r otates on the brass roller bear ings shown in picture 10 under EXTREMELY high pressure. It has dials under the thick glass measuring in 100's. 1.000's, 10,000's, 100, 000's& 1.000.000's. Thats rght millions! This was a likely inline measuring steam consumption by a large mill or processing plant in the 1920's, perhaps related to the logging or railroad industry. When purchased it ha d a tag on it th at read. Retired Meter for a Retired President" It will be added to the item when shipped. The Impeller inside is serially numbered matching the brass tag on the cast iron housing. It is ... moreabsolutely perfect! It had to have been per fectly machined. As it would destroy itself if it fell out of balance. Everything about this meter is awesome. It has a lead seal tag on the face of the meter from its last calibration. Th e brass inlet valve on the back of the meter can be removed to release the impeller for inspection. It sits on three cast iron feet. And displays very nicely. It is very heavy and quite large. Measuring 12 inches tall 12 inches wide and 9 inches deep. It weighs 34 pounds! Cadillac Meters are still be used for measuring flow rates today. In fact this Company is still in bus iness.
