Up for auction is an Antique William Tonks& Sons Coat rack or Hall tree. Has a goat or ram's head in center. 5-white porcelain knobs, torch on top, wreath around neck of ram, and hooks are embossed. On back it is stamp with an eight point sun with the letters W.T.S. which dates it to 1869-1900 made in England. It is cast brass, measuring 12" tall by8.5" wide by 5" off the wall. It is in excellent condition for age, has crazing on knobs with a great patina. There is a small split on one hook can be seen in pics does not hurt strength in any way. Get ready for winter with this brass coat rack. It's 68" tall in the center, the top of the arms are 70" tall. The tops are 18 1/2" across. The base is 23" X 23" Each foot has a screw adjuster for leveling. No dents or bent pieces, the brass shows its age but it's not as tarnished as others this old. I think most of the dark patina could be removed. One ball on the lower section is missing(see pix) and a few of the cap nuts have been replaced. For shipping it will be partially disassembled but it is very easy to put back together.

Ornate Antique Solid Brass Coat Hat Rack Hall Tree Stand
This looked too ornate and had too much potential to be scrapped as brass. This looks to be solid brass. They don't make them like this any more. Weighs roughly 12 lbs and is roughly 73.5 inches tall(6'1.5" Some of the screws have broken off and need to be extracted. One screw remains that can be used to match new screws. Please see pictures. A great project for someone. The scrap price for brass is roughly $2 a lbs so the opening bid is set to $24 which would be the scrap price for this brass coat stand. I hope this is bought and not sent for scrap.

Vintage Victorian Meets Industrial Brass Coat Tree Stand 72"
This is a wonderful vintage brass coat tree stand. It stands 72.5" tall. The base is 19" wide. It has a Victorian flare with an industrial flavor. Although the brass exterior has seen better days and is pitted. Flaked, and scratched, it still has a grand presence and is functional and complete. There are 8 hooks at the top and 4 more at the bottom to hang hats on. Will be disassembled at the bottom for shipping.
