From what I can see of the date it matches 1835 but the 1935 is similar but I have checked again and the 1835 matches better! DESCRIPTION: I custom ordered this great redware platter in the early 1980's to use as a sign to display in my booth when I did antique shows back then. It has been displayed in my home since 1991. It is 14" x 10" in size. SIGNED: Mary Spellmire. Vintage.from the days at Turtlecreek Potters before Greg and Mary Shooner married and went into business on their own. This would be perfect for the dealer or collector of country primitives. Absolutely perfect condition. No chips or cracks. Just normal mold marks on the back. The signature is hard to see in the photos but if you use the mouse it is to the top left of the stamped pottery mark. And the white marks on the front are just from the flash. The foundation stone was laid in 1577 by the two year old Thomas Palmer, and Parham has been a family home ever since. Then in 1922 the Hon.
