Circa 1900-1910, but please make up your own mind about this. The coddler measures approx 8 1/4 inches(210mm) tall and is made from good quality silver plate. The egg shaped body is mounted on three ornate legs. With lions' paw terminals on ball feet, and it is complete with its burner. It houses four eggs. In the internal carrier, which can be lifted out to stand by itself) and would have been used to keep eggs warm at the breakfast table in a well to do Edwardian household. Molds have some rusting but are still in great condition with some wear and aging to contend with. Stand is in great condition with mostly only use wear to contend with. ANTIQUE WALDORF ASTORIA INK WELL STAND with SENGBUSCH INKWELL INSERT Patent 1914 Antique Art Deco Inkwell complete with the original insert marked Sengbusch Self Closing Inkstand Co. Milwaukee Wis. Pat Sept. 1- 14. Base appears to be made of pewter, has a double pen holder and removable inner ring. We believe the insert could be made of bakelite, though it has not been tested as such. The bottom of the stand is marked"Property of Waldorf Astoria. Stand is in very good condition with normal wear and age patina, the inner ring does have some small bends around the edges from wear and use. The base is approximately 6 3/4" in diameter and 3" tall. We have not tried to clean or polish this piece in any way, it is exactly as found in a local estate. This listing is for an antique copper lined cigar humidor smoking stand. It measures 30" tall. 12"x6.5" and the box is about 7"x9" inside. The interior of the box is copper lined. As you can see in the photos, there are some chips and scratches in the wood. the laminate on the back is rippled. The stretcher on the bottom of the stand is loose and needs to be re-glued. There are scratches in the finish, and a piece of the laminate is missing from the edge of the door. The knob is also missing. Shipping is based on 20 pounds packed weight, for a large size package.

Description: Being from Southwestern New Hampshire I come across a lot of pieces related to two businesses with a long tradition in this area. Maple sugaring and coopering or wooden barrel and bucket making. What we have here is probably the highest form of marrying both together. This fine occasional table is made from a hand bent and made sugar bucket or firkin mounted on three turned maple legs. The front of the firkin has double doors which open to reveal built in pipe holders in each door. The inside is spacious enough for a humidor. Decanter and a couple of whisky glasses from my estimation. The color of the wood and its patina are first rate and were built up over a lifetime of use and care. Look at the pictures of the top. There is only one spot where maybe a hot spot in an ashtray left a mark but just adds that much more charm to ... morethis piece. The table is about 23 1/2" tall. The top is about 12” in diameter and the firkin itself is about 11 1/2" tall standing on 12” legs Look at all of my pictures to help you judge the quality of this piece and the skill and workmanship that went into making it. It is not only a handsome piece. But very practical. I think it has been used or displayed in every room of my home over the years. I would imagine this dates to the early 1900's. Measurements are 14" long(top) x 10" wide x 10 1/4" tall. With a thick 1" board on top. It is solid oak- partially quartersawn- and has a wonderful patina with beautiful grain. This is a beautifully crafted wooden Japanese Sumitsubo or Ink Pot with ornate dragon decoration. This belonged to a woman who was born in Ehemee. Japan and was brought to the U.S. along with other family treasures when she moved to the Northwest 45 years ago. It had been for her father who was a carpenter. The sumitsubo measures 9" long X 3 1/4" high X 4" deep and rests on a painted carved wooden stand that is 12 1/2" long X 2" high X 3 1/4" deep. There is some minor paint loss and surface scratches but overall condition is very good. This item will weigh 4 pounds packaged for shipment. This auction is for a very old candle/plant stand. It is from the 1800's. It has been in my family for many generations. I am not sure if it is walnut or mahogany. I was told it was walnut but just not sure how to tell. The photos show the condition of the stand. You can see on the top and the bottom of the top piece. It does come off and you can glue it permantly if you like. When I ship it I will wrap the round piece off of the stand and that will protect it better. I just left it as is. The top piece has some seperation in the wood and you can see on the bottom where it has been held together with old clips. It has a little area where the wood is chipped on the bottom rim. There are minor nicks in the paint on the base and some paint loss on the heads of the figures. You can see these areas quite well in the photos especially if you use the zoom feature. These areas are minor and the piece still shows beautifully. This is a heavy metal figure that weighs about 5 1/2 pounds before packing and stands 9 1/2" tall. The cigarette holder box is vaseline glass which glows under a black light- see photos. The box originally had a lid but that lid is missing from this piece. The glass is in excellent condition- there aren't any cracks or chips- just a few flaws in the glass that are normal to depression era glass. Beautiful Chinese Cloisonné Bell W/Wooden Stand - Vintage, Unique, Antique
Not sure on the date of manufacture of this beautiful bell. But my guess is early 1900's based upon the style of the wooden frame and it's condition. This bell is 2 1/4 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches at the base. It is covered in beautiful enamel and 24kt gold. The interior has only a small white paper sticker that has four chinese characters(I think it's an artist's signature? and"MADE IN CHINA" written in red on it. I did my best to photograph it, however, as it is on the inside it was difficult, and flash only made it worse. The bell itself is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks of missing paint. This stand is in remarkable, original condition; however, the pleated satin basket at the bottom is a high quality replacement. Whoever sewed this replacement did an excellent job and I believe they copied the original form. The inside of the slide out basket is lined with the original white paper. Finely dovetailed, fitted draw is perfect and clean and made from a very fine grained wood. I thought there were triangle patches to the corner veneer on the top, but now I’m sure they are part of the original construction. The burl veneers on the top and sides are in perfect condition and the finish is original. This circa 1815 Regency Sewing Stand is in excellent strong condition and ready to go to work. Antique Silver Plate Smoking Stand
This is an antique silver plate smoking stand. So I was told. The piece is 8 1/2" long x 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" The piece has not marks. No country of origin or maker, nothing about a patent number. In front of the handle is what appears to be a matchbox holder. Hence. Smoking stand. The silver plating is heavy, no thin areas. On the end there are 2 wire circles, which I assume held glass containers, which are missing. There is absolutely no evidence that the tray was ever used as an ashtray. PayPal preferred.

We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique, Victorian era, French 2 tiered plant stand. This lovely stand is solid brass with gold gilt finish. It features very unique floral design. It has three legs, all of which are long stems with blooming flowers. The petite feet are clawed. The two shelves are nicely shaped and feature a hammered design around the border. The centers have etched flowers. This is a very nice and beautiful old piece. It is in very good condition and is sturdy with no wobbling. There is evidence of use as there are a couple of water stained areas on the shelves(see photos) They do not take away from the beauty of this stand. The stand is not marked. Substantial weight, not flimsy. Mortise and tenon joinery. Which has pulled a bit in two places. Though not making the piece wobble at all in those areas. Sides just over 10" square. The underside of the railings were not painted. We believe that indicates this piece was made in a furniture factory rather than by a home craftsman. Paint is not thick. Antique Laboratory Metal Stand with Clamp
You are looking at an antique laboratory metal stand with clamp. On the clamp are the initials A.H.T. CO. which stand for Arthur H. Thomas Company. Maker of scientific, laboratory and pharmaceutical equipment at the turn of the century. Heavy. It stands 33 inches high. When fully extended it is 50 and 1/2 inches high. Clamp( top) is 11 inches. Botton turned tubing is 13 and 5/8 inches. Base is 7 inches wide. All parts turn. Bottom part of clamp is adjustable. The inside part of the tube that was inside the other tube is a shiny white metal. Chrome? I don't know if it is chrome. Maybe if polished it would reveal its true finish. Can be easily turned into a lamp by placing a socket in the clamp. The lamp/socket in the pictures is NOT included, it's just to show how it would look with a socket. Antique 1880's EAPG Pattern Glass Compote Preserve Stand Great Condition
This is guaranteed to be old and is not a reproduction. The stand is in good condition with no cracks or chips. Not sure of the pattern or maker of this one but it is simple yet elegant. It is 10 inches tall and 6 inches wide. I currently have over 250 unique and hard to find items listed on Ebay so check out my other auctions. ANTIQUE ART DECO CAST IRON FIREPLACE SCREEN COVER FIREBACK STAND WARRIOR HORSES
We are pleased to offer this very nice. Antique to older vintage, fireplace fireback with stand. This wonderful, Art Deco designed piece features heavy cast iron construction. There are two large ancient Greek or Roman warriors, both on horses/steeds, and in apparent battle. The scene is completed with wisps of textural clouds above. All of the intricate designs are done in a very dimensional, repousse, fashion. The top is also finished to look like clouds so the screen is quite unique with the top not being uniform on each side. The finish is black with silver highlights throughout. It is very heavy and is approximately 1/2" thick. The stand features two separate pieces and is not fixed to the screen. This is a truly wonderful family of shoe lasts with stand. There is a total of 6 lasts. The shoe stand measures 20" tall. And is marked Big Boy Warranted. The lasts range in size from 9 1/4" and is marked Big Boy Warranted 218) 8 1/4" and is marked Big Boy Warranted 217) 8"narrow and with a pointed toe and marked Big Boy Warranted 216) 6 1/2" marked Big Boy Warranted 215) and the smallest one pictured on the stand is 4 1/4" and is marked 214 with an L) There is also a last that measures 8 1/4" and is not marked Big Boy Warranted. It only has an R on it. All of these lasts were measured while on the shoe stand and are approximate measurements. The shoe stand and the lasts do show rust. All of the lasts fit on the stand.
