This one is all wood construction. Opens and closes easily and is designed to be held in the'open' position with three attractive ribbon straps. The straps that are on the stand are original. But one has broken/torn, see picts. You may be able to patch it from the backside, but I have also purchased some inexpensive cloth ribbon to that you can see how easy it would be to totally change the look. Customizing it to your decor. This cloth ribbon was purchased at Walmart for 59 cents a yard. Yes less then $2.00 for yards. At that price you could change the straps to match a holiday decor or even to customize it to the rooms that you might use it in. See picts. Customizing the'straps' to match your decor.Will definitely add that very'put together' look, see picts. When opened up it measures approx. 20 inches tall. By 14 inches deep, and 22 1/4 inches wide. When closed up it measures approx. 24 1/2 inches tall. By 5 inches deep, and 22 1/4 inches wide. The wood frame has the scuffs and wear that you expect on a used vintage piece of furniture. See picts. I did clean it with Murphy Oil Soap and a little polish. And the beautiful patina on this wood cannot be replaced, see picts. Stand is in very nice shape but does show normal age appropriate wear- some scuffs/scratches in the finish, one area(shown in pic) on one leg where the finish has been scratched, and it does appear that a repair has been made on one of the top pieces(shown in last picture) Originally thought it was a scratch until further inspection- honestly don't think it is noticable. The rest appears to be all original finish, and worn areas can be seen in the finish especially on the top. This stand has 4'sections' in it. Each of the four legs are surrounded with brass coverings. Canes shown for display only and are not included. I believe there would have originally been a drip tray with this but is missing. I am selling a beautiful original antique 1920's Art Deco 6 egg cup cruet stand.It has Art Deco feet and an ebony carry handle. All original piece set apart from one spoon is missing for one of the egg cups.All the egg cups are secured on pieces(see picture) to stop movement. The spoon missing could easily be replaced with another matching set! Six Silverplated Fruit Knives with stand. The stand is decorated with a nice embossed floral and scroll decoration around the base and center of handle. The knives have matching embossed design on handle. Marked"ALP" for Alpaca silver and the blades are marked"Svenskt Rostfritt Stal" which is the Swedish name for stainless steel. This amazing table base dates from the middle to late 1800s and appears to be of American origin. It was most likely for a high end pool hall. River boat or similar and stands just 27” x 18 ½” across the MASSIVE cast white metal classical base with roaring lions’ heads, clawed paw feet, anthemion, scrolls and you name it. The 4” diameter column of reeded solid brass pipe is accented by a considerable disc of natural onyx and all of the fittings are cast and engine turned brass with traces of dore color. The surfaces are all original and have not been polished, so you will note spots of tarnish and verdigris under a protective coat of wax. Likewise the base has worn original gold paint under a dark wax polish that accents the details in the casting. The white metal has a missing anthemion and several structural cracks with late bolt repairs ... moreand some baling wire thrown in for good measure. The wrought iron reinforcements appear to be original. It is sturdy and usable and stands just a bit off-kilter. Antique cobalt footed urn on stand with portrait Victoria Austria
This is a beautiful footed urn that is attached to a stand. It is 9 7/8 inches tall and 7 ½ inches wide at the handles. It has a scene on the front of a lady with a child being attended to by two servants. The scene looks to be part transfer and part painted. The piece is well gilded and has gold decoration on the cobalt base. The piece was made by Victoria in Austria. The hallmark dates it to the period of 1891 to 1918. The piece has a good bit of wear to the gilding. Especially on the handles where much of the gold has worn off and the pink underneath is showing. There is a hairline crack at the top as well as some hairlines on the base. When the piece is upside down a hairline crack can be seen running across the piece. This auction is for a Antique Apothecary jar/Bottle stand Owens-Illinois Glass Company Druggist Award. This is an interesting piece. The stand is 11" tall. It feels like aluminum. It is 23" tall to the top of the large glass stopper. There are some small nicks around the edge on the top where the stopper fits in. The main glass part is in good shape. Ther stopper has some flea bite nicks on the edge. There are paint splatters that will need to be cleaned off on this. I did not attempt any clean up on this, I will leave that to the high bidder. Pretty, Oval Antique Picture Frame, Will Stand or Can Be Hung, Made In Germany
8 1/2 x 5 3/4" This appears to be a wood frame with a decorative plaster edge on the outer rim. There is about a half inch of that decoration missing on one side. The frame has an easel type back so that it can stand on a table. It also has a metal ring at the top so it can be hung on a wall. Made of brilliant gilt bronze, by Alexandre Chertier(French, 1825- 1890) Chertier, a specialist in ecclesiastical work in silver and bronze received a gold medal as coopirateur at the Exposition Universelle of 1855 while working as foreman at the House of Bachelet in Paris. In 1857 he founded his own firm at 48, rue Mazarin, moving to 7, rue Firu in 1866. His important works, produced after 1870, include those for the church of Mont-Saint-Michel, and for the cathedrals of Saint-Omer, Reims, Moulins and Strasbourg. This substantialy made bronze stand measures 9.5 inches high. 15 x 17 inches at the base, 12 x13.5 at the top. I have pictured it with a modern marble top, which I will include if requested. I do not believe the original piece ever had such a top, but it helps accomodate a larger size of sculpture

They both come with the original mounting flanges so they can be set in at different angles. I bought these at a auction in Prinville Oregon, from a old collectors private museum. Pair Vintage Antique Shoe Shine Stand Nickeled Cast Iron Lamps Lights
For your consideration is this wonderful matching pair of stands that you would have propped your feet on to have a shoe shine in the original St Louis MO train station. They have been repurposed into a pair of lamps. The shoeshine stands measure 18" tall at the tip of the toe and 15 3/8" at the base of the heel. The top of the socket is 23" tall and the top of the harp is 30 1/2" tall. As pictured these shoe shine stands have great old patina. They are made of nickeled cast iron, a lot of the nickeled finish has worn off through time and they now have a beautiful rich patina. The lamps have a clear coat to enhance and protect them. The last photo is the only damage I found on the stands, something hit it and dented and cracked the metal, this is on the back of the lamp, along with the scratch by the cord hole. ANTIQUE CHINESE QING DYNASTY CHEST& STAND WITH FIGURAL JADE PIN LOCK Offered here is this Chinese Qing Dynasty era chest on separate Yamanaka style stand. This ornate chest is from circa the early 1800's and the stand. We believe, was a later addition during the early 1900's. The chest has brass hardware and sports a single bail handle on the left and right sides. The front has a brass hinge that has a slide through pin with green jade figures on each end(see pictures) The figures look like a scholar and a student. The chest is a deep red color inside and out with court scenes of people, houses and trees. Throughout the scenes on the exterior there are some small writings written in Chinese characters(see pics) The chest appears to be all original. There may have been some old repairs here and there. CONDITION; The chest is in ... morefair condition but it would benefit from some restoration work by a professional antique restorer. The chest displays well. As it is, but if you want it to be perfect then you'll have to have it restored. The top of the chest has several areas that are cloudy and the edges of the chest have chips and missing edges(see pictures) There are some stains on the interior and exterior of the chest too. The chest opens and closes fine and the hinges all work well. The jade pin has no chips to the figures and is in very good condition. The jade is cool to the touch. The end of the pin separates so you can easily slide the pin lock in or out when closing or opening the brass hinge. The stand is solid wood and painted black. It has gold colored highlights as well. The stand is in very good condition and is solid and stable. Underneath the stand there are 6 decorative corner pieces of wood missing out of 8. They are small pieces but noticeable when you look closely. MEASUREMENTS; The chest measures 30 3/8" wide. 12 1/2" tall and 20 1/4" long. The chest is surprisingly light in weight. The Yamanaka style stand measures 33 1/2" wide. 11 7/8" tall and 22 3/4"

Antique Shaving/Vanity Mirror on Large Stand with 1 Drawer Check out this great shaving/vanity mirror. Has an Empire style look to it. The mirror has some age spots on it but is all intact. The wood case on this one is amazing. Still has what appears to be the original end nuts on the brackets that hold the mirror to the base. And check out the carved leaf details that are at the four corners of the mirror frame. The wood on the whole piece is immaculate. No chips cracks or splits on what shows on the outside. The bottom of the drawer is not split. Check out the bizarre doweling at the bottom and the dovetail only goes into the one side not the other. I found that to be very unique. I see no maker marking on this piece. The felt on the inside of the drawer was done more recently. Has what appears to be the 4 appropriate wood legs on the bottom ... moreof the base that all match and are not cracked or split. The vanity is 14" across. By 18-1/8" tall by 7.25" wide. You are bidding on a stunning Victorian silver plated egg cup stand with 6 cups made by Walker& Hall of Sheffield England dating from circa 1880 or earlier. The tray has the mark used by Walker& Hall between 1861 to 1890. It measures 9 1/2" by 5 3/4" and it's 7 1/2" tall with the handle. The cups are 2 1/2" tall. There is some nice details on the rim and shell handles. Unfortunately one egg cup is missing the handle. I have the 6 six original pins for the egg cups but 2 of them are missing the locking nut. The condition is otherwise very good with no denting or repairs. There is some light wear to the plating of the tray as shown in our pictures. The spoons that came with it are by Wm. We engineered an attractive and secure method of displaying these pieces of nautical history. The Steelhead is somewhat similar to our other model of helmet stand. The Bonefish. The primary difference is the Steelhead does not have a wood base- but a more subtle steel footed base. Under each foot is a rubber pad to prevent damage to the surface the stand is sitting on.
