Used condition~meaning not new and in a different condition other than when originally made. This is a beautiful cabinet with plenty of charm. It could be used as a commode. Small buffet or even a nightstand in a child's room. One pull has had the screws replaced with new hardware& one damaged drawer pull. This is a beautiful Columbia Dictionary or Music Stand. Manufactured By Josiah Anstical& Co. Inc. Rochester NY, USA. The iron is Patent dated Dec. 10, 1895. It has NO rust and the OAK wood is beautiful. The metal has a wonderful gold shine when I cleaned the dust of many years, off. It is fully adjustable and the stand includes the tray. Podium wooden tops, and lowers or rises easily. Top height of Apprx 40 inches. Rollers, on legs are in fantastic shape. I have done nothing but clean this with Murphy's oil and think it is super. There is one piece of metal. Under one of the wooden tops, that needs to be restored. The metal would be easy to fabricate and not very expensive. I pictured what I am talking about, in the last pic. This is a very decorative hand-carved Arts& Crafts teapot stand that has bags of style. The stand is large and octagonal in shape with four nicely shaped feet that give it a bit of height.The stand is made from a well figured oak and the centre is deeply carved.By hand, with a quatrefoil leaf design that has a central flower motif.It is such a large teapot stand that I have wondered if it is for a plant instead but then the design probably wouldn't be seen.There is some light water marking around the edges,i think this is where the teapot has dripped,but this will no doubt polish-up a lot better.It measures approx.25 cms x 25 cms excluding the width of the feet.and it stands 3 cms high. It is marked Haverhill Mass. May 1st 1904, JEG. I don't know its exact function but I used it as a quilt rack for years. Standing it is 31-3/4" high and folded it is 37-1/2" x 5" It is in good condition with no cracks or nicks; the shellack is worn and crackled but it does not detract from the aesthetics of the piece. Antique Odd Fellows Staff Axe Spear Holder Stand Flag Base Painted Oak IOOF Ax Hi everyone. This is an antique Odd Fellows Staff holder. This came out of a lodge recently. This would have been used for displaying an axe or spear or staff. Maybe a flag but I don't think so since the hole in the top is small. Condition is good with no chips or cracks but there is paint loss. Will hold a staff that is 3/4 inch diameter. Might hold something 7/8 inch diameter but it would be tight. The hole in the top is 2 1/4 inches deep. Base diameter is 9 1/4 inches and it's about 9 inches tall. The pictures really tell the whole story here. Incredible antique oak and glass display case with light blue velvet and custom stand. The 2 sliding mirrored glass doors in the back have a really cool distressed patina. the showcase was made by the Houston showcase mfg corp and it is stamped on the underside. the glass has a wavy effect to it. RARE Genuine Antique Victorian Wig& Mahogany Wig Stand in Oak Display Case Description PLEASE SEE ALL MY PHOTOGRAPHS WHICH ALSO FORM PART OF MY ITEM DESCRIPTION This is a very strange item and probably one that you wont see listed again on ebay for a long time to come. It is certainly an item for the collector of strange items which form talking points when on display- also it would probably be an item for including in a museum collection for their display on fashion and hairstyles or in a period room display. This lot consists of three related items. 1/ A tripod mahogany wig stand- which dates from the Victorian era- it is in good condition with nice turning and finely detailed. It is in good condition with no damages. 2/ The accompanying wig. This is an extremely rare survivor and is quite fragile. It is not a full wig. But more ... moreof a hairpiece and would have belonged to a lady who perhaps had thinning or fine hair- which did not allow her to have a full set of Victorian ringlets lying down beside her face. The wig is made of real human hair and must not have been worn as it is in very nice and clean condition. The ringlets as attached to a part mesh which would have blended in with the owner's natural hair and at each side there are long black silk ribbons which you would have used to tie the ends of the mesh down close to the wearer's scalp and these would have most probably tied below the owner's long dark hair behind at the nape of the neck. I have taken a picture of the wig and stand in the display box- I have removed the glass from the slot so there were no reflections on the glass in my photographs- but the case does have glass on it at the front. 3/ For display this wig and table top or dressing table sized wig stand has been kept in recent years in a display box- I think that this is slightly later than the stand and hairpiece- as it is made of thick oak and with a glass sliding panel at the front- there are two brass hooks or fixtures on the top of the box where it could be hung on a
