Three vintage metal painted distressed coat hooks placed along the bottom and a vintage porcelain door knob and metal lockset are set in the center for that aged and antiqued look. This rack measures 32" long X 11" wide X 4" deep at the shelf and weighs approximately 10 pounds. Pilot holes can be drilled at your precise measurements for it to be mounted to the wall. It has Six Nicely Decorated Iron Double Hooks Connected with Steel Rods for the hat rack. The rack appears to have its original gilt paint from long ago but it’s not all intact and very chippy. There may have been a woven wire mesh for the hat rack area. The wood that it is mounted on may or may not be original but is old and has some old iron stained holes in it. Here is an antique oak hanging hat and coat rack with beveled mirror. Its all original as found from an estate with massive ornate hooks that measures 5 inches in height by 5 5/8 inches wide, nice bold ginger bread and years of beautiful patina. Its down falls are a crack and the end of the ginger bread right side bottom tip which shows good in photo eleven but its still tight there with no play, top left hook has a piece broken off, on back side the bottom piece of matting is missing which covers bottom of mirror glass and the mirror has line crazing from age. Large Antique Wood Eagle Shelf, Coat, Hat Rack, Early, Mid 1800's, Glass Eye
This antique eagle shelf and coat rack appears to date from the early to mid 1800's. It is made of oak and is very large measuring 39" long by 10" tall by 8 1/2" deep. The shelf on top has a few very minor chips to the edge of the shelf. There is minor rubbing to the racks which is to be expected of an antique dating between 150-200 years old. The most noticeable cracks are at the back of the shelf and are secured by iron brackets. These brackets are very old and may have been attached at time of making. The cracks have been filled in but again many. Many years ago. Overall, it is in very good condition and the glass eye of the eagle is intact and original. A wonderfully carved eagle looking like it could by styled after the Salem eagle.

This is a really cool piece. It is very old, and very fragile. It looks like western-style, like it would have been hanging in an old west saloon as a coat rack or hat rack, or maybe just decoration. Fantastic Antique 1800's NSWR Bronze & Copper Railroad Luggage Hat Coat Rack #2
Here is a fabulous Antique- 1800's- Railroad Luggage/ Hat/ Coat Rack. This is cast bronze with heavy wire and copper tubing. The bronze on the ends are designed with the letters NSWR(North South Wales Railroad) This is a real beauty and has the original acorn nuts. The cast bronze was originally painted with a black paint(go figure! Which is now partially chipped off. It actually looks great just like it is, but I'm sure would be spectacular completely removed and taken down to the bronze. This is a nice heavy sturdy rack. Please see pictures for a further description of what you will receive and condition. This is in great shape- there is oxidation and normal wear as would be expected for the age and use. This just ads to it's beauty and history. You will receive this in the condition it was found. Measures 30-1/2" across ... morex 13-1/2" deep. This is a handmade wall hung coat/ hat rack with a very rustic look.It is made of distressed heavy hardwood with a marvelous age darkened patina.It is 32" long and 11" tall with routered edges on three sides.It has a 3 1/2" deep shelf at the top.The front is adorned with an antique white porcelain door knob and metal lockset in the center. And three antique cast iron 3 prong coat hangers spaced evenly along the bottom.Two rusty distressed door hinges have been added at the top for hanging the rack on the wall.The entire assembly is heavily built,weighing approximately 11 pounds.It could make a good addition to a cabin or a home with a rustic,western,or country decor.Thank you for looking.
