It is in very good condition, and even has the little metal inserts that are at the bottom ... moreand catch the water that runs off of umbrellas. There are some light surface scratches on the finish, but this is normal wear for a piece that most likely dates to the 1910’s or early ‘20s. The stand has the original hardware coat hooks on it. It has an rectangular beveled mirror at the top center, and one small compartment, or glove box, with a hinged lid between the side braces that are meant to hold umbrellas. The piece has some lightly carved detail on it, as well as a lovely delicate cut-out pattern. There is some light damage at the front of one of the side rails, as well as a bit more wear to the finish on the front legs.

The small diamond shaped mirror at the top is spotted and streaked and a piec of molding around th mirror is missing. The small 1/2 moon mirror near the top is in great condition and the large beveled mirror is great with very slight haziness(it measures 39" H by 17-1/2" W) The marble shelf has some small flea bite chips along the edge and one larger chip on the back edge next to the wood(it is 8" by 14" There are no coat hooks and it does not appear to have ever had any. As with any antique furniture there are going to be some character flaws but I have pointed out everything even slightly major. It stands 89" tall. 23" wide, and 10" deep. I am listing this item as local pick up only. If you prefer to have it shipped. You will be responsible for making all of the packing and shipping arrangements. Tel: 01432 357753 Description: This is a very attractive late 17th Century antique English oak baluster turned leg. Single frieze drawer side/ centre/ hall table. The table stands on turned bun feet, rising over this are the plain stretchers and lovely rich coloured baluster turned legs, having a moulded frieze and the drawer having a very decorative punched and chip carved decoration either side of the moulding and a matched punched decoration in the moulding of dog tooth designs. The drawer has pine linings and oak side rails, with the drawer runners cut into the side of the drawer frame. The table is surmounted by a solid oak top with cleated ends(which are a later repair) The table has a beautiful rich antique patination. A ... morelovely original antique country oak table suitable as a hall, side, centre, writing table or desk, of classic joined construction with mortise and tennon joints with dowels. Date: The table dates circa 1650- 1750- 17th- 18th Century. Condition: The table is in good condition for its age. There is some gnarling in one of the feet with minor distress marks to leading edges. There are some old woodworm holes and a little filler has been used in the side rail of the drawer. Nothing structural but worth a mention. The table is around 200- 300 years old therefore has character to reflect its age. There is a little lifting to one of the cleats in the timbers and the top is pegged in the corners, where the top meets the legs. The drawer front has a couple of pieces of wood'let in' over time. Again this all adding to character and authenticity. This is the first time I’ve ever seen this model of a tiger sawn oversized library table. ... moreYou can call it a conference table or a library table, but I call it one gorgeous table. It is so heavy. It comes apart in four pieces, the top is actually tiger sawn oak veneer over a laminated ash top that is 1-7/8 inches thick. There’s a seam down the middle where someone must have cut it and then re-glued it to put it into a home because it’s so heavy, without realizing that it’s manageable if you take it apart first. We brought it back from the estate from which we purchased it, stripped it, sanded and stained it, made sure that the seam in the middle was perfectly sound, reinforced the base and the top to make sure it was all good, then refinished it in a beautiful medium amber oak stain. The table dates from probably the 1890s– 1910s, and has a wicked thick round-cornered top, a double column pedestal platform shoe base that is 4 inches thick, big turned spindles in the center, and is joined together with a big cross member. The size of the table is 86 inches long, and it goes across 48 inches across, and is 31 inches high. I am a spread-out type person, myself, and I have a similar table in my office. Vintage brass estate hall tree hat rack Masonic Lodge Offered is a vintage old hat rack I picked up an old Masonic lodge. This ornate tree stand is made of brass and metal base. The unusual item was sold as part of an estate with a mix of relics from the loge and personal items. Not sure of the origin but it looked pretty cool. Stands 6 feet tall and is comprised of two spheres on a stand with a third decorative ball near the bottom. The top globe is approximately 24 inches around. 6 hooks are fastened to the globe. I believe this is all brass. The bottom sphere is smaller with three hooks. There is a modern screw holding the stem otherwise all other items look fairy old. The base looks like brass but it is metal as my magnet stick to it. Weight is 26lbs and is has an ornate Victorian look to it. This is a auction is for antique silver plated measuring cup by Walker& Hall out of Sheffield England. It has a Falcon on the front of the cup and the end of the handle. This holds about a 1/3 of a cup and is in wonderful shape with no dings. Dents, or worn parts. It is marked on the back Walker& Hall Sheffield England it has the flag at the top with a W&H in it so it is before 1905. It is numbered 51875 and A1 inside of a square. Primitive Antique S P & S Co White Hall Crock 3 Gallon Butter Churn Jar Jug Read
Up for auction is a very early white hall crock churn jar. I bought it from an older man who said his grandfather used to use it to make pickles in so I know it is very old(has no smell of pickles lol) It does have a hairline crack near the top and then a couple of more serious cracks at the bottom. Please look at all pics. This is being sold with the knowledge that it does have cracks. It also has some very old tape residue on the bottom which could be cleaned up. This jug needs some tlc, the top also has a piece missing but sits in the top well. The measurements for this piece is around 14" tall and has a 8" diameter on the top. Which appears to be silver plated with a design of birds and what looks like a young girl. 3 glass cruets which appear to be salt and pepper shakers with silver platted tops. Two of the tops will not come off and I don't want to force it, in fear that I will break it. 1 jar that appears to be a mustard jar with a silver platted top. 2 Oil and vinegar jars with stoppers. This will make a great addition to any collection. Condition: This set is in excellent condition for ... moreas old as it is. It could use a nice cleaning. The holder shows normal signs of wear that includes light scuff and scratch marks. And slight discoloration. There is also some kind of white residue on the handle and where the small girl sits. It does have a signature engraved in the side of it that reads"Wainer" It could use a nice polishing. All of the cruets are showing signs of sun turning which is caused by the metal holder. All of the cruets are in great condition. They do have normal wear that includes light scratch and scuff marks, but no signs of cracking. The 4 cruets with the silver platted tops do have what appears to be chips on the top edge. They may have been manufactured that way because the chips are kind of smooth. I will post plenty of pictures for your buying confidence. Please remember that this item was found in the contents of a home we liquidated. Most items will show some wear. As they have been previously owned. The dating for this pitcher is between 1861 and 1886. This date information was found on the Old Hall Earthenware Co Itd site. This company was the first Pottery company in Staffordshire to form a Ltd Company. Incorporated in March 1861which took over the Old Hall Pottery from the distinquised Charles Meigh& Son. They continued some of the patterns and moulds of the earlier company but also produced the popular transferware patterns of"Willow" and"Asiatic Pheasants" Reformed as the Old Hall Procelain Co Ltd in 1886. Not only has this served as a lovely piece of art for the 40 years that it has been in my possession; it also is a very useful piece of furniture to hang your coat/jacket on by slipping it over one of the brass hooks when you enter your home. There is also an umbrella stand on either side, as well a functional drawer topped with a slab of gorgeous marble. There are beautiful carvings and I've been told this is a rare find. SUPERB 19th CENTURY ANTIQUE BRASS UMBRELLA HALL TREE STAND DOLPHIN DRAGON HANDLE
We are pleased to offer this very ornate. Pre 1900, antique brass umbrella stand. This lovely entry hall stand features a footed base fashioned as an inverted umbrella/parasol. It has 6 sections and is done in an all over hammered brass design. In each section are ornate, embossed floral bouquets. The column is also brass and is ribbed. The top of this stand is quite ornate with curved brass. There are two dolphin or dragons in the center of the curvature. The creatures mirror one another. They have eyes and curved bodies. From their heads comes the curved handle. The stand has five large circular holders. Each holder measures approximate 2.6" in diameter and will hold more than one umbrella. The stand is in very good antique condition. There is aged patina to the brass, but a little brass polish will restore the shine(if you so choose) ... moreIt is structurally very sound and sturdy.
