This beautiful piece was made in England around 1950 and is made from oak. There is a beveled oval mirror in the center. On either side of the seat are umbrella or stick holders with tin trays at the bottom. The hall tree has four standard solid brass hooks. Giving the hall tree a very Jacobean look are some small geometric wood decorations throughout. The seat lifts up to reveal a small storage space below. This hall tree is in very good condition with only very minor wear which you would expect from a piece of this age. It will make a functional and beautiful addition to any discerning home! The angle shots allow you to see the mirror more clearly. The seat lifts up to reveal a small storage area. The seat has some minor finish wear. But is quite sturdy. There are four of these hooks. This piece came from Europe and is truly Baroque style. This is very ornately hand carved. The drip pans for the umbrella stands are missing and there is a split in the bottom shelf that runs across where the drip pans would be. There are 4 wooden dowels that serve as racks to hold hats or coats on the upper portion of the stand. Originally I believe there were 6 racks but looks like 2 are missing. There is a long oval mirror in the center upper portion of the back. The mirror looks very old. It may be the original mirror. There is a lot of discoloration around the edges of the mirror. There is a glove box in the center of the stand with a hinged lid. There are bun feet on the front. This item is in great condition for being 200 years old however it is antique and will not be perfect. I do not know the exact age or who made it. This stand measures 76 7/8 inches tall, 30 ¾ inches side to side and 14 ¾ inches front to back. It weighs 54 pounds. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested. Simpson Hall Miller antique water/tea pitcher Treble Plated
Antique Simpson Hall Miller Treble Plate pitcher. The bottom of the pitcher is etched with the name Simpson Hall Miller 1870 Treble Plate. I am not sure if the 1870 is a date reference or some type of model number. There was also 3 small initials etched into the bottom by a previous owner I imagine. The pitcher has tarnish however there are no dents or major damage. I am not sure if this would be used for water. Tea or coffee. Please let me know if you have any questions! ANTIQUE SIMPSON HALL MILLER CO. QUADRUPLE SILVER PLATE REVOLVING CASTOR SET
Antique Cruet Caddy This is a lovely Victorian Castor Set. Or Cruet Caddy. Made by Simpson Hall Miller& Co, it has a Patent date on the bottom which reads: Patent 1.28.67. This company was a premier silver plate manufacturer in the 1800s and was absorbed into the International Silver Co. in 1898. So. The patent date has to be from 1867. The caddy is also stamped on the bottom with the logo of Simpson Hall Miller& Co, along with the'quadruple plate' stamp. This has partially worn off, but the main of it can still be seen in the last photographs. The sliver plating has worn off to a great extent. I'm sure it could be re-plated. If that was the new owner's wish. The bottles are in great shape for their age. Beautiful. Detailed etching surrounds all the bottles. Of the three bottles which have silver-plated tops, one top ... morewill not come off. The other two bottles have small chipping along their top edges. Which can't be seen with the tops on. Also. The tops don't sit snugly on the bottles, as the bottle tops have become stripped with age. Two of the bottles have glass stoppers. Both stoppers are chipped on their bottoms. But they do sit securely in the bottles, and their tops are fine. None of the bottles have chips or cracks that can be seen upon display-only the chipping along the tops of the bottles which I have already mentioned. The caddy itself is engraved with a leaf and flower design. Someone's initials are also engraved in one place. But I can't really make-out what the initials are. This piece is a really nice example of Victorian workmanship. Please inspect the pictures to see if it deserves a place in your home! Caddy is 15.5" tall Middle piece is 7.5" wide Base is 5.5" wide. Antique Ladies Compact Souvenir Chicago World's Fair 1934 Hall Of Science Image
On the front of this older compact it says"World's Fair Chicago 1934" There are also labeled images on the front of the Hall Of Science building. The Federal building and the Trav. and Trans. building. Some of the smaller lettering is slightly worn and if you use the zoom feature on the first picture you will be able to see this. The compact has a couple of interior compartments as shown in pictures#5 thru#7. I have not attempted to clean any of the surfaces of the compact and the interior would probably shine quite a bit more if cleaned up a little. The compact's size is 3 3/8" X 2 1/2" The closing mechanism works well but one side of the compact is slightly"sprung" a little where the edges do not quite come together as they should and I have tried to show this in pictures#8& 9. The other side is ... moremuch better as seen in the 10th picture. The compact does show some wear from use. There is also a mark in the upper right corner of the front of the compact as seen best in the 2nd picture and there is also a close-up of this mark in picture#12. This might have been caused by a cigarette as it appears that the black surface has melted some in that area. Hello there. Here is a fine Walker and hall large cutlery box with extra draw. It has a maroon velvet and silky lining in the main compartment with two knife rests also and bone? looking label with the walker and hall flag and title manufactured by walker and hall sheffield also inlaid hinges etc. It has hand dovetailed joints all round also the draw has hand crafted joints with a inlaid brass handle. It has a scratched brass kind of sheild on the lid. It does have a crack running through the lid but im sure it could be glued and repaired by a wood joiner it rns the whole length just above the sheild. This box is high quality solid and heavy. Here's a good authentic mission/arts& crafts style lantern fixture that recently came out of a small town Nebraska estate. Would date to 1910 or so. The lantern is 6" by 6" at the base and about 12" to the hanging hook. Made of brass with original green slag glass. Parts of the brass have old gilt paint on them. Some oxidation. No cracks in the glass. Has been safely re-wired for use. Has a pull-chain socket but this can be wired directly with the switch set to on. Use in a hall or on your porch. With it's current length of chain has a about a 32" drop. Chain can be shortened. Great period piece. Careful packing. Guaranteed to be old and authentic.

Description An Antique Three Draw Brass and Mahogany Marine Telescope. Stamped on the first draw, Hall Ilfracombe, and in full working order. A good quality Telescope by a hard to find Maker. This is the genuine article which dates to the late 19th or early 20th Century. There is no dust or debris visible when in use and it focuses very clearly. Both the Lenses are in good order with very minor surface wear. But with no cracks, chips or major damage. The Draws are a good friction fit with slight sideways play. They slide freely but firmly. There are several small dents to the Draws as shown. These do not affect the way the Telescope performs at all. Both Brass ends are all sound and firm. With patina, slight wear and with some losses to the Lacquer. External condition of the Mahogany is good. Used, with some general surface wear, small dents ... moreand signs of use, and two age related but stable cracks to one side. The sliding small Lens Shutter is missing. As is the larger Lens Dust Cap There are no heavy gouges or structural issues at all with this Telescope. And it has no major damage. The Threads of the smaller Lens Holder run cleanly and tighten well. All is as shown comprehensively in the many pictures. This is a pair of beautiful columnar candlesticks made by Walker& Hall of Sheffi eld, England. The date coding for Walker& Hall is tricky. But after some research, I believe th e maker's mark dates them to between 1861-1890. They are definitely 19th century. Each candlestick m easures 6" high. The base s are 3-1/2" square. They retain the original green fel t on the bottom. Each w eighs just over 1 lbs. They have separate removable bobeches. The candlesticks feature an ornate Corinth i an capital. The shaft has a winding garland of ac orns and leaves. The base of the column is adorned with neo classical urns and acanthus leaves. I think the set is in incredible condition. Very shiny with no silver loss observed. There are a few dents here and the re. Nothing major. They are substantial, st rong and of extremely high ... morequality. This is a very interesting chair. It stands about 48 in. high by approx. 15w and 15 dp. The woman I got it from said it had been passed down through her family in Massachusetts for generations and was used as a"time out" chair for the children. It's in the kind of condition you want to see with an antique with some scratches. Finish wear and a little chipping on the spindles.
