You are looking at a stunning Antique Art Deco Ornate Dark Wood Coat Rack Hall Tree Stand Bent Wood. This piece is circa 1930's Art Deco period. It comes apart into 3 pieces. It measures 6' tall. 19" at the base, the top ring is 15 1/2" and the bottom ring is 11 1/2" This piece is in great condition. There are a few little scratches here and there. Nothing major. Nothing broken. The top rotates as it should. Any scratches on this piece could easily fixed with some old english polish. They are small and few. Please see photos for more detail. Up for auction is a very old. Very large and very heavy coat/hat/umbrella tree stand. The top has 16 double hooks the is 41 inches across. It stands 83 inches high and the base is 31 inches across. Notice the exquisite scroll work. The top spins around so it is easier to put coats on. It even has metal casters on it. The tree is in very nice shape except one of the top is broken off and i don't have it(see picture) Other than that it is in fantastic shape. It is so big and heavy that I think it used to be a old commercial model. I have this item as pick up only because of the weight, i would have no idea to ship it. It does come apart in three pieces(top, stand and base) so I guess it could be shipped in 3 separate parcels. This is a very unique piece. It is made entirely of cast iron. Ornate Antique Solid Brass Coat Hat Rack Hall Tree Stand
This looked too ornate and had too much potential to be scrapped as brass. This looks to be solid brass. They don't make them like this any more. Weighs roughly 12 lbs and is roughly 73.5 inches tall(6'1.5" Some of the screws have broken off and need to be extracted. One screw remains that can be used to match new screws. Please see pictures. A great project for someone. The scrap price for brass is roughly $2 a lbs so the opening bid is set to $24 which would be the scrap price for this brass coat stand. I hope this is bought and not sent for scrap.
