Antique vestment chasuble embroidered Crown Staff Flowers Beautiful!
We do not know much about this beautiful vestment. It is lined and has beautiful embroidery work! It looks vintage but it does not have tags so we have no way of knowing its age The material is satin or silk. Or both. There is a water stain on one shoulder. Please look at all 12 pictures to get more detail. It does look high quality and is heavy being a bit over 4 pounds. The embroidery looks excellent and there are no tears and only the one small stain I can see. I have not seen a vestment like this!

One side is cream silk the other side is red silk. Both sides have some lovely embroidery. The cream side is embroidered with crowns and Sacred Hearts. Worked in gold wire thread and fine silks, and decorated with gold metal discs. The red side has fleur-de-lys and intricate Cross/Crown of Thorns motifs, there are worked in cloth of gold and gold embroidery, plus gold metal discs. The edges of the stole are joined with a gold cord with gold wire covered tassels. And are decorated with a metallic gold trim. The ends of the stole have a gold bullion fringe. The dove image with total rays is approximately 9 ½ in diameter. In overall excellent condition considering the age. No tears or stains. What might appear to be discoloration on the left edge is only a shadow. Item would benefit from a professional dry cleaning. The Stole. Made of the same matching black velvet, trimmed in delicate off-white ribbon, and has a cross near the bottom of each side in the same off-white material. Which has been produced from wonderful purple floral brocade with gold and purple embroidered woolwork detail to the front and back. The chasuble is lined in matching purple fabric. AGE The chasuble would date to the turn of the 20th century. Circa 1900. CONDITION The chasuble is in a very good condition for age. 57"ANTIQUE CHURCH BANNER GOLD THREAD MUSEUM TAPESTRY MADONNA LATIN MASS VESTMENT
Selling this beautiful antique banner. This is truly wonderful. It says Janua Coeli which is Latin for Gate of Heaven. One of Our Blessed Mother's titles. The previous owner said it was from a very old church with stone walls(they lived in Belgium) but the church had been eventually closed, and they were able to take it home. It is composed of some kind of beautiful gold thread tapestry. I believe looking at the images on the background, that this was all hand done somehow. This does not look like a yardage of cloth which someone placed an image of Our Lady on it. I am not learned in textile art, I just appreciate beauty and love Our Lady, which is how I came to own it. I didn't care if it had any damages, and still don't. I think it is just wonderful as it is. I had this hanging in my home but then we decided to bring home baby ... morekittens, which at some point realized that playing with the metal fringe was so much fun. I was afraid they would claw it and damage it, so I took it down and placed it in my hope chest. I have been thinking for over 6 months now what to do about it. The kittens will live at least 10+ years. So I have decided to sell it. It seems a shame to hoard something away in a hope chest when another could be looking at it every day. It will also help my family's financial situation. It brought me much peace and joy having it in our home. It made me meditate upon Our Lady, and if ever you have anxiety, she is just the person you need to stop and talk to. She always brings me much peace. If you need more photos, please let me know. The gold color and detail is very hard to catch with the camera. To see the damages, mostly look at Our Lady's dress and clouds. This is another type of fabric than the brocade and has tears. It is edged with a fine lace trim. On the back there is more whitework embroidery in the form of an IHS within a circle. Antique Gold Roman Chasuble Fiddleback Vestment for Catholic Priest, Clergy
Gold Colored Roman Chasuble/Fiddleback Vestment for Low Mass This beautiful Chasuble is in very good antique condition. It has been recently refurbished and can once again be employed for Divine Worship. This particular vestment was originally made in France and is very substantial and heavy. Although I am not certain of the material. It reminds me of cloth of gold and feels almost metallic. The Chasuble. Maniple, and stole have been completely relined with red satin fabric. There are no rips or tears in the shell of the chasuble although there is some faint spots of mild discoloration. The chalice veil and burse were constructed from a dalmatic that was beyond repair, which is why there is a unique pattern formed with the galloons. I should note that the burse cannot be opened. All pains have been taken to salvage the beautiful lamb on the ... moreback of the vestment. Some of the metal parts of the lamb's legs were lost to time and have been replaced with thread. New longer strings were added to the inside front of the chasuble that help to secure the vestment to the waist of the priest. This set includes: Chasuble. Stole, Maniple, Burse, Chalice Veil. The dimensions of the chasuble is approximately: Back: 39" from shoulder to hem; 25" across. Front: 34.5" from shoulder to hem; 22" across at widest point. Please note this is an antique vestment that I believe is close to 100 years old. There will be signs of aging; yet despite its age. It has held up quite nicely. If you should have any questions. THIS Beautiful Chalice set is the REAL DEAL! From France. Measuring 8 inches tall with a 4 inch diameter cup. I do not want to tamper with the bolt or screw underneath the chalice to unscrew the cup for the silver marking, which has been tested as Sterling and since there are no markings on the base, I must assume that the base and stem are not silver, and am pricing accordingly. the Paten is clearly marked STERLING and has flawless gold plate, and is nice and heavy. the original spoon is included, and has a cool little pouch in the very unique velvet-lined cushioned case! Antique St. Phillip Neri Style red Chasuble
Here is an antique Chasuble. In the style of St. Phillip Neri(Due to large proportions. The back is in beautiful shape except for the trim on the edges, does need some loving care. The Front is more worn, see photos. In the center of the front, one can see the wear of it rubbing against the altar of many times. Also looks like someone replaced a section in the center of the front long ago, from the middle to the bottom(all the sections in this section appear either newer or mismatched) From the back, measures 28.5 inches wide and 48.5 from bottom to the bottom of the neck line. The Front measures 27 inches wide at the widest point towards the bottom. The cloth used has an extremely soft and luxurious feel to it. Maniple = is slightly worn. But wasn't used as much as the rest of the set. Fringe at the bottom is beautiful shape. Stole = ... moreis more worn than the maniple. But relative to the chasuble, is in better shape(pattern wise) although portions of it are somewhat faded. Typical slight soiling to the trim around the neckline. Backing is still intact, but could be replaced to freshen it up. Measures 48 inches from the cross made of trim to the start of the fringe at the bottom. 3 inches wide. Like the Chasuble, 3/4ths of the trim appears to have been replaced at some point, but is identical to the original. Suspect it was replaced because it is brighter with not as many signs of wear. However, I don't think it was anytime recent- even it is soiled and shows some wear. Backing on all 3 pieces feels like it made of a linen broadcloth. Now faded with age. Soiled, threadbare in some areas along the edges, but overall intact. Overall. The set is usable now and is striking in appearance. If this was re-worked, and re-backed, with some love and care, could serve another couple generations! SEE photos to complete the description. If you want any additional photos. Beautiful Antique Green Chasuble and Stole for Mass This is an antique green chasuble and stole set for the celebration of the Mass. It is in good condition with very little wear. The material is of a kelly green that is much more Roman than the darker forest green color that is often produced today. The back is embroidered with a cross that is composed of flowers with the iconic IHS in the center. The front is a simple pillar composed in the same theme as the back. There are two strings that are used to secure the vestment around the waist of the priest. The matching stole is in very good condition and its adorned with metallic fringe on the bottom. It has a sewn cloth around the neck to absorb any sweat that may damage the material. The only sign of age and wear is found on the front between the embroidered part of the vestment. Antique Religious Roman Catholic Priest Vestment Rose Cloak - John P Daleiden Co
Beautiful antique priest's cloak by the John P. Daleiden Co. of Chicago. It is Rose(HOT PINK) in color and has gold embroidered trim and gold tassel trim. I believe that the material is silk jacquard. The condition is very good with the exception of some fraying of the material around the embellished metal closure and I noticed a few of the gold corded tassels were frayed.
