This Danish teak Entertainment Center is made primarily of teak veneers. With teak solid trim. All the wood is in very good shape. Not Danish style.actually made in Denmark. 19 3/4" deep. 35 1/4" tall and 48 1/4" long. Features two magnetic catch. push to open" glass doors(approx. 20" by 29" and a center pull-out section. On the left are three spaces for your stereo components. The middle shelf is adjustable. On the right the top shelf has a nice slide-out for your turntable and storage at the bottom for LPs. This is up for sale as part of a moving sale. This 5 piece unit was sold by JC Penny about 15 years ago so it is not an heirloon 100% solid cherry antique. The doors and trim wood are solid cherry but the rest of it is a high quality laminated pressed wood with a dark cherry finish. Made in the USA. Fort Smith Ark. It retailed for $3100.00. Picture 1 shows the entertainment cabinet that housed CRT variety HDTV. The newer flat screens won't fit but the cabinet could be reconfigured for a lot of other uses. The bookshelf is 30 inches wide with the triangular unit being 17.5 inches wide. ... morePicture 4&5 show a similar light bookshelf and triangular unit but this one has the doors at the bottom. The height of the 4 side units is 76 inches. To have all 5 units together again you would need 11 feet 4.5 Inches of floor space. 22 inches of depth for the center cabinent with 17.5 inches of depth for the 4 side units. Needs some detailing but only one ding that is serious on one of the triangular end units. Will include the working original HDTV that we had in this FREE but it was the older CRT technology so it takes two gorillas to move it into place. Check my other items. This is a very nice very heavy either Bar.Linen press, entertainment center or bookcase, it could be used for quite a variety of thing. lt was made in England Circa 2000. To the front it is flamed mahogany on the door panels. The top comes of the base so it is easy to transport. To the base there is a shelf to the one side. To the top the door slide back so it could be used to put a tv in there, there is also a stand to put the tv on and some were under a recorder. A great looking piece of furniture. The measuring tape on the pictures is for size references Continental 18th Century Pine schrank with domed top. For more than 250 years this item was used for different purposes and during this period was fixed and altered several times in order to please it’s owners. Originally the schrank was painted a green color with Northern Star ... moredecorations on the panels but we received it already stripped and only a few specks of green paint left in the cracks would remind you of it. One panel has a contour of the Northern Star. Developed as the result of a chemical reaction of paint on freshly cut wood. Even though the original painting was lost through the centuries along with the name of the artist who decorated this item the shadow of this Star remains. A little miracle… The pine turned darker with time and was sealed and polished with bee wax for soft luster. Revealing some time marks including some amount of bug holes appropriate for the age of this item. However. We guarantee that now it is problem free because we fumigate all our furniture twice- before we put it into the container and upon delivery to US. The other panels just reveal clear pine wood of rich honey color with darker veins. Most of the people are looking for this type of item to use it as an entertainment center and once it probably served this purpose because a round hole is drilled in the back panel for electrical wires. Antique Style TV or Entertainment Center, Which Look Like A Chest Of Drawers
This is a very walnut entertainment or tv cabinet made in England circa 1950. It sits on bracket feet and has brass handles, l think at some time one of the brass handle drops have been changed, but every thing else is all original, there is satinwood inlay to the front and top. The front pulls up and pushed back so you can either watch tv or have a music center in there. Measurements are 34 wide. 36 high, 19 1/2 deep. There are few light scratches to the top but looks fine.
