The top half shelves on the bookcase are adjustable and removable as is the bottom shelf. With the bottom shelf of the bookcase removed(as seen in first image) this would be a perfect TV/media storage center. The unit is in good/very good original condition. There are two large holes cut through the bottom of the bookcase and the top of the storage unit. Presumably to accommodate cords. However, these holes would be covered up entirely with whatever you chose to put on the bottom shelf of the bookcase, whether it be books or a TV. DESCRIPTION Handsome and very practical mid century Danish modern teak bookcase. This bookcase has three nicely sized drawers with sculpted teak pulls. A writing surface that pulls out when needed, and two adjustable upper shelves and a fixed lower one. Tapered legs complete the look. This is perfect for small spaces! Stamped on the back- Made in Denmark. DIMENSIONS 68 3/4" high by 35 1/2" wide by 17 1/4" deep. CONDITION Excellent vintage condition. There is no wobble to the legs and the desk and drawers open and close easily. There are no cracks or chips to the wood. On the area above where the desk pulls out there are some dark lines. Which are not scratches. There was a small hole cut out in the backing which was originally at the top. We re-installed the backing so that the hole is now at the bottom. The estate took pretty good care of it and overall the pieces are in very good condition with some marks or nicks from wear but nothing major. The following flaws were found. There is wood missing on the back right corner of the two drawer cabinet/ desk. The desk should have 2 angle rods for support underneath, they are missing. The previous owner used two common angle brackets at the front underneath of the desk cabinet to secure them and it works fine. The replacement rods come up online for sale. There is an original key for the drop down cabinet. The three drawer cabinet's drawers all slide easily. Purchased from the original owner who has owned the unit since 1968 when his parents purchased it from Yugoslavia. Includes Everything you'll need to assemble. Has had a few dings and scratches. Legs on two planks have been repaired. Look fantastic setup. In my Main photo you'll see i just used a table to prop the desk i did not have a second person to help me install it properly.
