Original medium ... moredark finish. Features slab sides, two mullioned doors and a framed gallery top. Nice quartersawn oak(shelves are plainsawn/ rift) Brass hardware. New wood caster wheels. The pins are intact. Supporting three adjustable shelves. Wavy glass. Paper label and ink-stamped production number are on the back. There is a push button knob on the right door. And a clever roller latch/ throw bolt system at the top/bottom of both doors. When the right door is opened, the left is simultaneously released. When the right door is shut it forces the throw bolts on the left door to extend into the wood frame at the top and bottom, securing both doors shut. Size: 31.5" wide. 11.25" deep, 47.5" tall on casters. Model 340. Most examples of this form I've seen are 34" wide, this one is 31.5" Great size for fitting in many spots within the home. It didn't really need cleaning and it hasn't been waxed. $85 fee to have professionally packed. Insured shipping via Fed Ex Ground is $210.

L&JG Stickley#45 Magazine Stand This magazine stand is an accurate reproduction of the L&JG Stickley#45 Magazine Stand. I bench make these magazine stands from quarter sawn white oak in the Craftsman tradition. The back boards are solid 5/8" thick individual boards. The frame is assembled using time tested pegged mortise and tenon joinery. The dimensions are; 19" wide x 12" deep x 45" high. These are stained with aniline dye and sealed with satin Lacquer. This artisan initialed bookcase was made on August 25. 1997. The wood is solid quarter sawn oak. This 2 door bookcase is Stickley, measuring 58" in height, 41.5" in width and 13 inches in depth. The piece is in very good condition. The quality of the piece is outstanding. The condition is really good. It looks as new! There is a little ding on ... morethe back right corner that I noticed when taking pictures. It is not visible at all(please see photo) The back has some minor scratches. The key functions almost great. Due to 15 years of use the door needs to be pushed inside a bit to close well so the key locks the door. It is a really nice piece of furniture.
