Absolutely stunning antique Swedish embroidered bell pull dating back to the mid 19th century. This piece has gorgeous floral needlepoint embroidery in ... morewool enriched with bead embroidered oak leaves( and edges. In Sweden these pulls were more commonly used as decorations on the pull chains of the damper. That are external on most Swedish fireplaces. The piece is in great used condition; the colours are quite clear and strong. There are only a few stitches, bearly noticable, and very few beads missing. In the upper part(between the rose and it's leaves, see picture) there is a small tear, or more precisely in the canvas but not in the embroidery. Edged with antique braid, lining is intact and the brass handle is beautifully ornate with grapes and vine leaves. Measures approx. 3.7" wide and 29" in length. Antique Vintage Victorian Wood Bugundy Cushion Couch Sofa Hand Crafted 1800's This is an antique fabulous Victorian sofa. It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. VICTORIAN DRESSMAKER Vintage (1950's?) HB Japan Ceramic Tiles in Wooden Frame
There is no date on these. So my guess is that these are from the 1950's when Japan started trading with the US a lot. The sticker on the back of one of them says"HB Japan" These are a matched set showing a Victorian dressmaker's shop on one tile and a men's clothing store on the other. Vintage Terra Cotta Victorian Female Portrait Tile
The Winkle Terra Cotta Co. St. Louis, MO 1883-1943 This is a vintage clay tile with a deeply molded bust of a Victorian woman. We don't know much about this company; they also made tiles. This round piece resembles an old stove tile. Matte glaze and very nice detailing. Measures 8" wide x 1 1/4" deep. Great condition; signed. Vintage Porcelain Oval Hand Painted Victorian Lady & Dog Tile SIGNED
Vintage hand painted Victorian lady with dog tile. Tile measures approx. 4 1/4" in length by 3 1/4" in width. Total measurement to include frame is 6 3/4" in length by 6" in width. The tile is SIGNED ~ Betty Manning ~ at bottom right as shown. The frame has a hanging hole made into it at the top. This piece is in very good condition with no damage or repairs. There is a little old glue residue that shows around the outside edge of the tile which is shown in the close up picture.
