This is a folded map that is adhered ... moreto the inside of a small hardcover. When unfolded the map measures 17” by 26” approximately. It is dated 1884 When folded up. The small book is 3 ¾” by 5 ¾” The map appears to be hand tinted to me. The map is a bit brittle. There are small splits at the cross folds. One corner was dog-eared and along one side the paper was mis-folded. The map is clean and unmarked. The binding is pretty nice. The spine is rubbed through in one small spot and in one ¾” long spot. Inside. The hinge is split. Please look carefully at the photos and ask questions. I am not a“Map” person. NOTE: See my current auctions of travel books. I will combine shipping.

There are holes across the top where it was originally bound. There are some darker stains around some of the outer edges and some stains affecting the actual map area.
