Purple vintage monastic woven priest's chasuble and stole set. It has a blue monastic collar and cross on front. The stole is a matching purple with blue trim near the bottom and blue cross at the neck with white lace trim on the neck. The tag reads. C.M. Almy& Sons, Rye, New York" It has an additional memorial tag. The chasuble is 52 inches long and over 60 inches wide with ample room. This is a vintage gothic style purple chasuble and stole set by Liturgical Apostate Center. The vestment is a woven material with black and red colored offrey down the front and the back. The contrasting darker purple stole is not original to the set. But shows very nicely. The stole has a cotton linen cloth sewn into the neck area to protect from staining. It also has a purple cross at the neck. The chasuble has a makers tag which reads,Liturgical Apostate Center, Sister Disciples Of The Divine Master, 43 West Street, Boston Mass 02111" The chasuble is 43 inches long in front and 46 inches long in back and with ample width of 61 inches.
