Green Gothic Vintage Chasuble and Stole Set - Robert Gaspard Co.
This is a vintage gothic style bright green chasuble and stole set by Robert Gaspard Co. The vestment is a woven material with black and green colored offrey of three verticle knitted stripes down the front and the back. It has a rolled monastic collar with a black cross at the neck. The matching green stole also has a black cross at the neck. The stole is lined with a gold satin. Both the chasuble and stole have makers tags with Robert Gaspard Co of Milwaukee. Wisconsin. The chasuble is 41 inches long in front and 47 inches long in back and with ample width. The stole is 49 inches long from neck to one end and 4 inches wide at the end panels and the stole is curved at the neck for proper fit. Please ask questions before bidding. Stunning vintage red priest's stole with large blue flame appliques on each end panel with gold. Brown and blue trim. The maker's tag reads:Robert Gaspard Co. of Milwaukee, WI" The stole is of woven red material and is lined in red satin. The is a large gold cross sewn at the neck. The neck is mitred and contoured for proper fit and has a white cord worn behind the neck to hold in place. The stole is 58 inches long from center neck to each end panel and 4.75 inches wide at the end. The stole is appropriate for use in Pentecost and liturgies of the Holy Spirit. This Black Cassock by Gaspard is in excellent condition. It looks like it was hardly worn. The only area that shows it was worn is at the bottom hem. There are no tears. Wax stains or rips. The material seems to be a strong, durable polyester. It is washable as the tag states. Length from the collar seam to the bottom hem is 57" The stand-up collar is 1.25" wide. The cassock has one center pleat on the back and two slit openings to the pant pockets. The circumference of the collar is 15" with a 1" opening.
