ANTIQUE OR VINTAGE INFANT OF PRAGUE VESTMENT GOWN- RED WITH VELVET AND EMBROIDERY Probably dates to 1940s-50s hand made by Ladies of a Church A very special Infant of Prague Vestment. Deep red satin type fabric with red velvet applique, collar, and sleeve trim. Embroidered Sacred Heart with Gold Cross and Thorns, much applied bead work, sequence, sewn on pearls, pronged rhinstones, and lace, lined in red fabric, Beautiful for use on statue or for display. Back- from collar to hem 16" Good used condition. See no damage or stains, noting one missing sequence back and one pearl, there are additional small metal tabs on front below collar where additional lace was probably attached. Hi found during a downsizing were these 6 vestment pieces. There 11 inches top to bottom and were with the statue seen in one of the pictures. THE STATUE IS NOT PART OF THE SALE) The infant statue is available on a separate auction Check out my! These vestment pieces seem to all be in good condition and are as seen. I think im right by saying there incomplete as there should be two pieces im thinking to each set. Nevertheless this auction is for the 6 pieces only that are seen in the pictures. VINTAGE INFANT OF PRAGUE CLOTHING VESTMENTS ROBE GOWN SLIP LACE SEQUINS CLOTHES
VINTAGE INFANT OF PRAGUE VESTMENTS ROBES 3 pieces. Infant of Prague clothing. Robe. Gown and slip. These are old vintage pieces and show some stains and marks on the fabrics. And the gold colored slip is missing one ribbon tie at the neck. slip is made of a stiff rigid feeling material. the yellow gown is stained in several areas. I have not tried to wash these vintage garments. The gown is a yellow satin material and old beige lace with sequins, sequins do not extend along the entire hem of the gown, one area in the left side is missing, but hard to notice since the lace hides this and it is almost under the gown hem. darker gold tone colored robe also has marks and stains also made with lovely decorations. These appear to be hand made. Decorated and sewn, have been stored for many years. preowned vestments have concerns with age related ... morestains and marks. And some fading of colors, I have tried to capture these concerns in the following pictures. Please see the close-up pictures below for detail AND for size information.
