This is a very nice and clean vintage maniple with no stains or spills. It is however missing a portion of the frontal material that I have pictured in the last photo. I would think this could be worn on either the right or left arm as it has the same design on both sides. The part that is missing would be worn on the inside either way. Offered is an antique red velvet panel that is trimmed with gold metallic and bullion trim. I do not know the origin of this piece but because it is fully lined and has two hooks on the reverse side and because it is gathered at the top. I am thinking it was part of a vestment or cape.
