Both measure about 1/16" wide. The 3rd ring is a wide yellow gold band marked 18K that was probably cut off of someone's finger. If you look at it close it also had a small piece added at some point in it's history. Which may or may not be 18K. When you squeeze this ring together it measures just under a size 9 and is 3/16" wide. I did have it tested and it is guaranteed 18K and this ring would be easy to repair. This is a truly beautiful and interesting cigarette case which screams quality. I have not seen another one like it. Made from a heavy gauge of silver. Bearing the boars head mark which is the French guarantee for high grade silver. I believe.950 purity. Decorated with beautiful bands of yellow gold and rose gold. Nice clean gilded interior. The makers mark is on the opener E&C(Escroignard& Cie) Who produced some quality pieces in 1904 but despite extensive research I have not been able to find anything produced by them as a partnership before or after that date. To the front there is an enamel applique with crown SAS emblem, and a gold insignia AW. I found a photo of a similar gold insignia with the initials FR which refers to the Forest Rangers regiment of the SAS(forest regions of Canada) so I believe the AW on this cigarette case refers to a particular regiment rather than the initials of the owner. I suspect that this quality item was presented to someone of high standing. This is a beautiful item. Worthy of pride of place in any collection. Buyer will not be disappointed. Antique ruby red glass cruet with a ground pontil. 8 inches tall. Bottom diameter 2 1/4 inches. Bigest part is about 3 inches. Top diameter is a little less than 1 1/2 inches. Stopper is approximately 3 inches. It is heavy and a little crude and sits a little off center in the bottom part of the cruet. The glass itself is in excellent condition. There are no chips. Scratches or dings. The stopper has some some minor chips where inserted into the glass. The narrow gold bands are heavily worn; with one side somewhat better than the other; the other almost nonexistent. Measures 4 3/8" tall with the stoppers in.The containers are clear glass with gold trim bands around the tops. The base is 2 inches in diameter. They have black plastic stoppers. They are from my Mom's estate. She got them new in the 1960's. The stoppers are intact and hold firmly in place. They are marked"Pyrex Made in the USA. They made so many of these back then but most of the later ones were not uranium glass, so my suspicions fall to the early era. These glow like beacons under a black light. They have descending width gold bands around them and look to have seen very little use. None of the goblets show any wear and the jug shows only a tiny area. The jug is heavy and a shade of 21 cms high. The goblets are 12.5 cms high and weighted to the base. A lovely uranium set for someone! Local pick up. This rare vintage Christmas plate is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Few utensil marks. The original removable sticker with the words"Salem Japan" is still on the back of the plate. The plate has green and gold bands all around the edges. The center has a Christmas tree with stars all around it and a village and train at the bottom. The decal and the green band is intact are in great vintage shape! Each plate measures about 10 5/8" in diameter. Green glass decanter and 4 glasses sport frosted, white, and gold bands of differing widths while stopper sports 2 gold bands of same width and has frosted bottom portion. Bottom of decanter has what looks likes 3 gold dots on top of each other(like a snowman) Decanter is approximately 6 1/4" tall without stopper, 8 1/2" tall with stopper, 1 1/2" across at mouth, 2 1/4" across at bottom, and 9 1/2" around.
