We are not certain but believe this might be a Deacon's Dalmatic. This vestment measures about 41 inches long from the top of the collar to bottom hem. It has what we think is called a"fiddleback" style to it. The material is black and patterned with an almost holographic looking design in it. This piece is embellished with an applied piece of material front and back in gold and purple colors with Cross motifs. It comes with the stole you see in the photos. Not certain that it belongs ... morewith it, but comes with it. The stole measures 77 inches long without the fringe. This robe is vintage and used. It would benefit from a dry cleaning. We have not done so. There is very light wear consistent with age and being worn. This wear might be found in frayed material, frayed trim, etc. No noticeable stains, might be the odd very tiny one we missed. This vestment has no makers tag and it appears to have a some age to it.
