Beautiful Cross-Shaped "I Am A Catholic Please Call A Priest" Miraculous Medal
This excellent piece is a wonderfully detailed cross. The front of the cross has some-apparently somewhat worn-lovely images of Jesus holding the sacred heart. Mary holding Jesus, Joseph holding Jesus, a dove, and Mary alone at the bottom. On the back. The words"I Am A Catholic Please Call A Priest" can be found, as well as two more lovely images. I am uncertain what metal the piece is made of. To be honest-it has no markings and could be steel, silver or pewter as far as I can tell. The shape and wear are such that it could be simply vintage silver in average condition, or very old steel/pewter that is in good condition. The medal weighs 6 grams. And is around an inch and a half(4CM) in length from bale to base. This medal could make an excellent gift for a loved one. This listing was made by the family of Karen Doreen Hartsoe ... moreKoontz. Whose Franciscan order name was Sister Luke Panteleimon. Sister Luke passed away on 8/24/2013. From liver failure. She was 55. While it would never even occur to us to sell the things she valued. She mourned that her stock items were not being sold-she saw her role on eBay as much as a vocation as any other role. To provide inexpensive and beautiful religious items to people who would have a hard time affording them otherwise. Given this.
