Picked this up at an estate sale and I'm not entirely sure what it is. It is a solid brass mounted fixture that looks like a cup holder. It is made very well and weighs 10 ounces. The total length is 4 inches. The inside diameter of the circular holder is 2 3/4 inches. The depth is roughly 1 1/2 inches. The screw holes in the mount are 1 3/16 inches apart at the center. Cosmetically the condition is excellent although it is uncleaned and remains dusty. I don't like to clean any vintage items. Shipped FREE via USPS with appropriate care. Thank YOU! These fountains are in working order and were working when I removed them. They are in great shape for being public drinking fountains- no cracks or broken pieces. They will have some mineral stains, maybe some abrasions, but otherwise they're in great shape. This is a rare chance to get antique drinking fountains in quantity. I found a"FEB 7" stamped in the bottom of the basin, but no definite year. They're glazed even on the underside, which in the case of porcelain toilet lids usually indicates pre-WWII manufacture. UNUSUAL LIGHT BROWN SOAP DISH ENAMELED CAST IRON PATENT 1926 This very unusual light brown enameled cast iron soap holder is patented(and marked inside#1578934& 1651164) March 30. 1926, manufactured by the B.G. Stern Co. The piece has a soap dish on the top and the faucet centers are 4 3/4" with the overall length 10 3/4" 3 7/8" wide and 2 3/4" tall. The fixture has some enamel loss on the left back edge of soap dish and there is a tiny chip above the left faucet opening. It shows some wear commensurate with age and use. Lot of 2 vintage porcelain& brass water faucet handles. The handles do not say hot or cold. They are unmarked. The handle's porcelain is not chipped or cracked. The brass hardware is very nice. They are in good condition. The porcelain handles are 2 1/2" long and would extend from a surface 1 1/2" On one handle the brass hardware is round and 5/16" in diameter, extends from the porcelain 1 10/16" and has a cotter hole at its end. On the other handle the brass hardware is 1/4" square, extends from the porcelain 2" and has a cotter hole at its end. Nice vintage old plumbing parts.
