1925 CAST IRON PORCELAIN TOWEL BAR RACK/ SHELF I have several old antique items to sell at my folks old house that I thought would best be liquidated here on Ebay. We have 2 sets of these to list as pictured but this listing is only for the one pictured separately in all the photos. The second will be for sale. And listed or offered, after this set sells incase the buyer desires to have two sets. No repairs or touch ups to the finish. I don't see any places of damage except for a couple rust colored stains as shown. There are a couple very minor chips is shown in the porcelain only where the stains are. No negative surprises or large chips and or scratches in the porcelain. The tips of the bars go into the end caps almost an inch on each side so they are not exposed where the porcelain is thin at the tapered cast iron ends. These racks ... moreare so very rare to find. The nickel plating does show some wear and scratches but it is in very good condition. All holes on this soaker appear to be clear so it should function. The shower head is dented on the edge in a couple of places but not to badly. There is some oxidization on the surface. The original nickel plating shows wear from use and tools. The porcelain handle is cracked but seems to be strong and solid. The porcelain handle turns freely. It may need new internal washers etc as it is untested. Overall good condition. Neat old antique brass valve. Im not sure if it was meant for gas. Water neither or both. It is very nicely done but has some blackening where the hose attaches and traces of putty in areas. The threads appear to be fine. It measures 2 1/4" in length. The valve opens and closes freely but please do not use until tested. This faucet was removed from a claw foot bathtub in our home during recent renovations of one of the bathrooms in our 1880s home. It is in basically good shape and was in working order before removal. There is some wear particularly on the spout. There are a few paint specks remaining which seems odd that it would have been painted at some time. Around the stem of each turn handle. Pair of porcelain towel bar ends and cast iron over porcelain towel bar. Ends are in excellent condition no cracks or chips. Just a bit of discoloration in mounting holes as shown in photos. Unlike late model thin tinny fixtures you pay hundreds of dollars for and dent if you drop a bar of soap on them. This set is chrome plated heavy solid brass. Also included is a mid century Hall-Mack Coronado soap and grab with removable soap dish for a complete original vintage tub and shower set of the highest quality. The sides of the handles and the inset of the back plate are a frosted textured chrome. And the top of the spout is brushed chrome with the remaining areas of the pieces and shower head being finished in a mirror bright chrome. The H and the C for hot and cold is etched into the back plate. Nice design suitable for many decors. Package weight 11 lbs.

Very Rare Trenton Potteries Porcelain Soap Dish Towel Bar 1923
Here is a piece that you will look high and low for. It is a Porcelain Soap Dish with the towel bar produced by Trenton Potteries for Crane. The dish is in great condition and has no cracks or chips. There is some old paint around the outside edges that will need removed. Dish measures 7 3/4" by 7 3/2" Where it inserts measures 5 3/4" by 5 3/4" It had the Trenton Potteries stamp clearly on the back. This was removed from an old old farmhouse here in Iowa. If I am not mistaken there is only about a 5 year window that these pieces would have the Trenton Stamp when they were producing for Crane. Five prominent potteries- Crescent. Ideal, Empire, Enterprise and Equitable- merged in 1892 and became known as the Trenton Potteries Company(TPC) They were credited with making the first solid porcelain lavatory made in one piece ... morein 1896.The mark used by the consolidated company is a star. The numeral in the star indicates the plant where the ware was produced, as 1, Crescent; 2, Delaware; 3, Empire; 4, Enterprise; 5, Equitable; 6, Ideal. For example, the plain star enclosing the initials T. P. Co. and the number, 2, was used on the regular sanitary ware of the Delaware Pottery. On all vitreous goods made since 1892 at this establishment is placed a circle surrounding the star, with the name of the ware. A similar mark, bearing the figure 3, is used on vitreous ware of the Empire plant. On the sanitary ware of the Enterprise Pottery since 1892 the plain star appears, while on vitreous china the mark is similar to the above with the figure 4 substituted. During 1923 Trenton Pottery began a business relationship with the Chicago-based Crane Company. Five years later the Crane Company bought out Trenton Potteries. Crane then closed all but two of the former TPC operations bringing to an end a nearly 30 year history of producing fine quality porcelain and plumbing products as its own entity. I have up for bidding a lot of 17 vintage brass faucet and valve handles. They are USED. They are OLD. They were salvaged from a plumbing shop. There are different types. Sizes and configurations. Some have square holes. Some have a more standard tooth design to engage the valve stem. NONE of them have attachment screws with them. Handles only! They are tarnished. Vintage Sears HOMART Motor Shaft Driven Pump Water Well Garden Irrigation Farm
14 years ago. My mother-in-law came to live with us. Recently widowed, she left her house as it was, came to Oregon and said she was never going back home. We told her we would pack her house up, pack EVERYTHING, and bring here for her to sort through at her pleasure. Her house was much like a museum. She was an avid and well known antique dealer and collector in Los Angeles in the mid to later 1900's. We moved over 700 boxes of items from her house. Along with many pieces of furniture. 1 of her pieces has been on the Antique Road Show. I built a 7000 sq. foot building to accommodate all her collections. She never opened a box. She died about 7 years ago. And we have just begun the process of going through the boxes ourselves. It is an arduous process. Some items will go to concession dealers. Some are given away, some things donated, ... moresome are kept and some things are offered here. I used to write a bit of the history at the beginning of each ad. I have decided to write this, and when a bit of provenance fits, I will include this introduction. These items were collected many years ago by a very sweet and knowledgeable lady. Wish she was here to tell me about each item we offer, but, I am on my own, and will do my best to describe. What a great looking old pump! This Sears HOMART pump was pulled from under a collapsed barn on an old homestead(circa 1858) here in Oregon. I have saved it from oblivion. I am unsure of the age of this pump. I am guess 1940's to 1960's. HOMART was a branch of Sears home products, but they must have made very few of these pumps. I have completely dismantled. Clean, oiled and lubed the assembly. All the parts are free moving. I have included a few pictures of when the pump was apart, you can see the condition of the impeller and the inner body, both are almost like new. This 1916"Standard" Devoro toilet with rare"serpentine" tank was recently removed from its original installation. This type of toilet is called an"offset-tube" toilet. It is all original. This logo is one of the oldest known for the"Standard Sanitary Co" Toilet bowl has been acid-washed to remove hard water deposits. Toilet tank-lid has a small chip in the back corner.toilet bowl has small chip in the front base shown in photos. I am selling the toilet bowl and the toilet tank lid and including(for free) the tank. The rationale for this is that the tank has a hair-line crack. I do not know if it leaks as it is a very fine crack(shown in photos) I understand some people line the inside of the tank with epoxy to stabilize and correct a leak if a leak is present.
