Antique vanity/dressing table. Child's size? Measures approx. 5' tall(to the top of the mirror. 4'3" wide, 18" deep. In need of some love and a refinishing. The finish appears to have already been removed some years ago or it is just that worn. I don't know for sure though. Peeling and chipped veneer in many places. Is missing the little brackets that hold the mirror to the wood backing. Also missing a piece of glass for the top center(between the drawers) Both of those items are easily replaced. Someone wrote their name on the mirror, but it does seem to come off easily when scraped, so it is not etched in there. The mirror alone on this piece is worth $40.00. The mirror is in great shape. There is a crack on the top surface that will not impact the usability. Mid-Century Modern Kling dresser set 1937-38 in original condition
In very nice original condition for age. Made by the Kling Furniture Co. in 1937-1938. 185 is stamped on all pieces. And the dresser with the mirror still has the original shipping tag from Kling Factories, plant no.1 in Mayville NY to Rungs Furniture House in Buffalo NY. Included is a verfication provided by Jim Kling through Klinginfo.com, archivists and researchers of Kling Furniture Information: 1911-1962. This dresser set originally came with a bed and nightstand, but unfortunately, I do not own them. The dressers are in Walnut veneer and are one of the earlist modern pieces made by Kling. They feature art deco styling with the curved fronts, and round mirror. Both on casters for ease in moving. The upright chest is 36" wide x 21" deep x 46.5" high. Is 89" in height. 17" in depth and needs someone to care for& restore it ~ The Eastlake piece became part of our antique store inventory, when it was left buy a consignor. After it was damaged ~ The marble was broken. Some time ago, but the ornate top became unassembled and the end piece broken off. When it was attempted to be moved ~ We have housed(not stored) this beautiful piece. Since we closed the doors of our store ~ A recent move now has us having to find her a new home ~ The dresser/vanity ... moreis absolutely repairable. With all pieces present ~ It will need a new marble top. But is quite usable, with the one that exists The current marble is broken in two places ~ The right corner has been glued. So the actual top is in two pieces, not three ~ The damaged crown. Top piece, is removable(pic 3) ~ Dresser can be used without it. But it is not quite the same ~ The ornate point needs to be re-secured and the end re-fitted/repaired ~ The hardware is original. To the piece ~ all pulls are present ~ The drawers work fairly well. Large antique dresser (1930s/40s?) with mirror
Large dresser with mirror. 3 full-width drawers below. 3 smaller drawers side by side in the top row. This dresser is solid wood, probably mahogany(see photo of drawers, which shows the natural wood color) The finish is dark brown. Drawers move easily. This belonged to my grandmother. Who lived in North Carolina, so it was probably made there in the 1930s or 1940s. I have not been able to find any identifying details of the manufacturer. I inherited it from my father(her son) when my parents moved house ten years ago. The finish is mostly in pretty good shape. Except that the top of the dresser has the imprint of a hot iron that some idiot put down on top of it. Comes with a glass top- just put some nice cloth or art paper underneath the glass and you're set, or refinish it to make a truly breathtaking piece. Truly Charming! Unique. Vintage rustic folk art heart-shaped tilted table top beveled mirror. in a hand-painted oak frame featuring two girls at the bottom of the frame. Circa 1930s- 1940s. The girls are wearing red. Blue/green& yellow folk country costumes. The oak is painted a golden-yellow color with blue/green trim. Two lovely brass rosettes hold the mirror to its frame. Mirror has some loss of its silver backing around the rim and has some lightly faded spots. Numbers engraved on the bottom read: 3182 5680. The mirror measures 14" tall and 15" wide. The bottom stand is 15 1/2" x 6 3/4" This is a bright and charming piece. The photos do not show it's true character. An excellent piece for your cottage decor. Weighs almost 4.5 lbs.

The three dovetailed drawers open easily and still lock. The Birdseye maple is a beautiful golden color. There are a few stains on the top of the dresser. The dresser is 27 1/2” tall(from the floor to top of dresser) and 42" wide, with a depth of 22" front to back. Oddly enough.It has two different name brand tags in the small top drawers.One is KAPLAN of Cambridge,MA the other says the BON MARCHE' Lowell,MA It's needs some work but overall in very good condition. Item Description: This is a rare estate find Art Nouveau vanity and cane chair; both are ivory in color. Vanity has lucite knobs. Folding mirrors on each side, a full length mirror in the center, and stands 70" tall x 57" wide x 18" deep. Original locks and keys. Made by the Sligh Furniture Co. Grand Rapids Michigan c. 1919. This piece is signed under one drawer in pencil by someone named A. Endema M.G. I looked up the name on ancestry.com and found that a man by that name came from the Netherlands and settled in Grand Rapids Michigan. Perhaps this is the person who assembled the piece as drawer numbers and left or right side are also written in the same hand in pencil. Buyer to verify accuracy of description prior to purchase. From the Grand Rapids Historical Commission: Sligh bedroom suites were owned by presidents Rutherford B. Hayes and Benjamin Harrison. Sligh began making a line of case goods from Circassian walnut in 1900. And by 1908 the popular line had become a top seller. Though never considered an“Arts and Crafts” producer. Sligh made at least one notable suite in that style. In 1907 Sligh produced a solid gumwood bedroom suite designed by John E. Brower, with a striking contrasting finish of amber and malachite green. Its functional design was completely unornamented except for circular and oval lily-of-the valley drawer pulls, and delicate lily cut-outs on the bed. The pieces’ gently rounded lines seem more akin to the Moderne movement of the late 1920s than to the other French and Colonial-influenced furniture made by Sligh in 1907. During World War I. Sligh Furniture Co. made walnut gun stocks for the military. By the mid-1920s Sligh billed itself as the“largest manufacturer of furniture exclusively for the bedroom in the world. PAIR ANTIQUE OAK DRAWER HANDLES/ PULLS FREE SHIPPING! This is a great set of old vintage drawer handles. These were salvaged from an antique oak vanity. Measures 10 3/8" wide and 2 1/4" high. Both are the same length. Very good condition. By hand carved. I mean they were individually made. There are very minor differences. They would make a distinctive addition to your chest!
