Up for auction is a Wonderful Brass French Carriage Clock. Circa 1890-1910. The clock's dimensions are approximately; H- 4.5" W-3" D- 2.5" The Case: The brass case is in excellent physical condition. There are no breaks. Chips or major scratches on it. The Dial/Face: The porcelain dial/face is in excellent physical condition. There are a few hairline cracks on it here and there. Nothing that I would consider really distracting. The blue steel hands are original and in fine physical condition. The Glass: The beveled glass is original and in excellent physical condition. Three is a small chip on the glass of the back door. The Mechanism: The 8 day French mechanism is in NON-WORKING order. On the back plate it reads: Made in France" and"M.F. Co. LARGE VINTAGE ROUND EBONY HAND MIRROR. Silver initials A nice solid hand mirror probably about 1920s in date. Maybe earlier. Marked EBONY and'6' glass is 6 inches diameter) on the handle. 31cms/ 12 inches long. The glass has some light scratches and speckles. The silvering is pretty good with some streaking due to age. There is a stress crack to either side of the handle and a small amount of movement. But it is stable. The elaborate initials are MH and almost certainly silver although untested. The only thing that I can see missing is the hook(pictured) on the side of house where the side comes off to view the inside of house. Roof needs work. Both sides and front once you unhook them come off to view the inside of house. Front door opens and closes, wood or wood like floors, one side of house appears to have some sort of window covering's left. When you open the front door you can view the staircase. Early mid 19th century beautifully carved cameo portrait of a man grand tour souvenir italian. in a French ormolu brass bronze frame. these two came together but you could quite easily separate them. the man cameo is 1.8inches high. carved from shell. Just white not the usual orange and white. he has an interesting good looking face and a bouffant early 19th c. hairdo. could be napoleon or a someone famous, doesnt really look like napoleon but it looks to be a portrait rather than a generic man. bronze ormolu frame the gilding has been polished off the front but good patina. rococco style, cast. 4.2inches high 2.8.inwide. the cameo looks undamaged. the back panel comes off the frame with two pins that come out.

For your consideration is a Summer Girl sad iron heater. This type of a sad iron heater works on the same principle as a kerosene lamp and if you have touched the chimney of a lit kerosene lamp. You know how much heat is generated and this wick is 4 X as wide. These were used to heat sad irons on days the user didn't need the heat from a wood or coal burning stove, but still needed to iron clothes. The tank and top are cast iron; most of the rest is formed steel, except for the fill cap and knob to adjust the wick; those two things are brass. On the front of the tank, is a factory attached paper that says: SUMMER GIRL. On the front-top of the tank, is embossed uppercase writing that says: SUMMER GIRL. On the backside of the top of the tank is embossed uppercase writing that says: PATD. DEC. 26, 1893 THE TAYLOR& BOGGIS FDY.CO. This is a basic analog meter that runs on two standard C type batteries and is adjusted by a manual slide. Sample qualities are determined by moving the slide and aligning the green markers viewed through the end eyepiece. Samples are inserted on the side opposite the slide meter. This 6.5" x 2" meter comes with a matching BMS black hard plastic molded carrying case. The 3 part sample holder is included. Undamaged and appears to work. A spare lamp. 1934 Philco Cathedral Model 89 This cathedral table set has a 6 tube receiver. With three bands; Standard broadcast, Police band, and early TV. The radio has not been restored. I brought it up slowly and received nothing just a hum. My electronics help is busy with other radios at this time and I do not have enough experience to restore this chassis. So cleaned it up nicely. Repainted the tube shields and re-coned the speaker. I thought it best that someone with experience in electronics restore this fine radio correctly. There is a couple of minor rust spots on the top of the chassis but nothing major. The layout for this 6 tube set is as follows.44,77,44,75,42,and the 80 rectifier. The speaker is the original for this set. Which is an 8 inch reproducer. After checking all of the cabinet joints for weakness or cracking. The cabinet has been ... morecompletely restored. This is the prettiest napkin ring that I have ever seen. It will date to the 1930s and is made from lucite which has been reverse carved. The image of a little bird perched on a flower stalk is delightful as can be seen- very well observed and skilfully crafted. Holyoke Kerosene Water Heater & fuel tank
This very rare Holyoke Model 80 Kerosene Water Heater is in very good condition for its age. Door hinges and latch work very well. Mica window in the door is viewable. Cast iron unit with triple tightly coiled copper water coils. The Heater and tank are as I received them in 1970 from a demolished farm house. I'm not sure tank is for this unit as I have seen them with glass jugs and a horizontal tank. Working condition is unknown and is being sold as is. This unit weighs 20 lbs. so please check shipping rates.

Later remembered that I also bought at the same time some 47+ years ago from the same estate, what looks to be a similar type of Seashell necklace. This listing is for the beautiful iridescent Green Seashell with Clear sparkly Beads necklace from the early 1900's with nice length of 17 1/2”long=35” inside diameter. Overall this(French? lovely"Slip Over the Head" necklace is in very good condition for 100+ years, has a bit of expected shell scuffs/tiny holes. The necklace has a stunning look, a type of"Lover's Knot" design. Some people would call this an old sailor's valentine. Emerson Radio Model 106, Completely Restored, Ingraham Cabinet, Beautiful Design
1934 Emerson Table radio Model 106 This item is another beautiful 6 tube set. From the king of many designs in table radios, The Emerson Radio and Phonograph Corporation. The 106 with the Oval Dial is not seen very often. With the late 1934 U-6-B chassis housed in an Ingraham cabinet. This fine player has been fully restored. The other design, and more often found in this model, is the rectangular dial/ three knob design. The tube line up is as follows: 6A7. 6D6, 6H6, 6F5, 43, 25Z5. This set has been completely and professionally restored electronically by one of the best, John Goller. After it was returned to me, I cleaned the chassis and reconed the 5 inch speaker. The one thing you hardly ever get the opportunity to see of this model is a good look at the chassis. I have provided three good pictures of the chassis. showing the new electrical ... morecomponents and the re-coned speaker. The cabinet was in decent shape when I received it. However there was still a great deal of work to be done. I checked all the joints, and re- glued all that were in need, such as the grille and the curvature supports on each end for the chassis. The finished started with a brown base tone. Topped by two coats of sanding sealer and three coats of High Build Semi-Gloss lacquer finish sealer. It is my understanding, the knobs are not original, however they look much better than the flat design that came with the set. I have installed all new grille cloth. Which is our duplication of the original pattern design for this set, the small herringbone weave. The measurements are height- 9.0 inches. Length- 12.5 inches and depth- 6.25 inches. Half of the 17th-century, Russian enameled bronze, priming flask for a flintlock or wheel lock gun. The shape and the form of decoration are very distinctive for the 17th century work of the Kremlin armory. Those types of bronze priming flasks were cast in two pieces then joined together on the edges. This particular piece was excavated in the 19th century. On the former territory of eastern Poland, in broken condition. The broken part has been removed and the good part was mounted in the display case. The object has been taken, by the owner, out of Poland in 1939 during WWII. He served in the Polish Army II Corps. After the war he settled in Canada. Antique cigarette case- origin unknown. But I believe it is from the 1800s and made from tortoiseshell with gold and silver inlay.
