This seems to be a very nice 19th Century French or possibly German Stradivari model violin. It has a lovely one piece back and a very rich golden brown colour. It does not seem to have any damage and has been well cared for, the back measures 35.5cm and also it comes in a case with two bows, one looks quite decent.

This is a antique violin. I understand it to be of 19th century Scottish origin, it was found in a pub clearance with a few others in Edinburgh. It is quite unusual, no purfling and the back is made from an unusual wood, not quite sure what it is. It has a lovely golden patina and a deeply carved scroll. The back measures 36cm. While the album is in poor condition with some pages held together with tape(none of which is on the pictures) and very weak spine the photos are in great condition with barely a mark on them. The photos were taken in England with some around the Northampton and Brighton areas. The pictures really show Victorian clothing as it was and how having your picture taken back then was a rather serious affair. The album measures 15cm x 13cm and the pictures 6cm x 10cm. EARLY 19TH CENTURY SILK PARASOL
A delicate. Fragile and still very beautiful Antique parasol with cane handle, brass fittings and silk tassles. There is considerable damage unfortunately to the fine silk covering. Originally. It has been a pale cream background with fine black vertical stripes, then decorated with fine horizontal pink silk stripes and finished with a 2cms border of pretty pink silk. Due to storage and lack of care. There is discoloration between the areas of the silk where it has been folded, also some spotting has occurred. There are two small holes and some tears(Pic.3) at the base of the finial. The spokes. Shaft and the finial of the parasol are all made from very fine brass. The handle is bamboo and the tassles decorating the handle are silk. At the area where the spokes meet at the top is a lovely plaited silk pad. The area of the parasol opened is ... more80cms diameter x 40cms deep. The shaft is 49cms long. The finial 10cms high and the handle 29.5cms long. It is fastened around the ends of the spokes with a 10mm wide silk band fastened with a small brass button and eye. The length of the parasol when closed is 91cms. Apart from the silk damage. Antique 19th Century Guangong Statue, Hand Carved Wood and Gesso, Foo Dogs
In good condition except for some a small amount of gesso and lacquer loss. It also needs replacement of hair in left mustach. Chin and hair lock holes. It is 13 inches tall and very detailed as you can see. This is not a replica out of China. This is probably overpriced, but I put a higher price on things I like and I really like this one. Guangong is a God in oriental religions, but he was an actual historic figure in the third century, admired for his military prowess and loyalty. This is the only one I have seen with foo dogs on the base and was made by a superior artist.

Antique Bone Letter Opener Carved Signed 19th Century
Up for sale is a bone letter opener/page turner. I am no expert. But in the research I've found this to be similar to items from the mid 19th century. It measures 15" in length, and 1.25" in width. Rounded handle end is 1/2" thick tapering to about 1/8" at tip. On one side it's carved with an ornate"N" inside an oval, and on the other side it's signed"C_quot" Quite hefty and in beautiful condition. Antique Barn Pulley 10 inches 19th Century
I'm selling this antique pulley I salvaged from a 19th century era barn. The top is iron casting and the round pulley part is wood. There is a small crack in the wooden wheel(see photos) But it is completely intact. There are some marks in the casting that I think say"LOUDEN" and"421. This is a beautiful decorator piece sure to add some character to your home. Wheel measures 6 inches across and is 1 3/4 inches deep. The total length is 10 inches.

3 Antique 18th and 19th Century Strong Boxes - Found in a Civil War Era Safe
These t hree strong boxes were discovered in an old civil war safe. Two are unlocked. One is locked. We do not have keys for any of the three, these would be for display purposes. The more ornate box measures 7.5" tall x 12" long x 7.25" deep. The one with copper edging measures 5.75" tall x 12.25" long x 8" deep and the black one measures 12" long x 6" tall x 8" deep. The lock on the center box was replaced some time in the 20th Century. We do not know the complete origin of the strong boxes. Just that all three are older than the safe, at least one and possibly two are 18th century. The other is early to mid 1800. Hi your bidding on a very rare item. An early Betel Pan Dan from Mughal period in India. 1700s-1800s This item is all hand crafted. From copper, and weighs a ton well i mean it weighs alot, probely worth £100 scrap. Anyway not for scrap. This should go back to India or even grace an Indias home or restaurant. The pan Dan has a shallow compartment in base. Must be for hot coals,as was used to transport food. It also has all the fitted copper food storage cans. About 3" tall each. I got these in a lot auction(for something else I had my eye on) So I'm offering these up. This auction for the(3) Coquilla nut carved figurines(NOT the snuff box which is only shown for comparison) Quite rare and unusual. Of extremely dense Coquilla nut with amazing polish and patina, these figures are quite rare and I've listed some comparable in the last images. These are 18th or 19th Century. Not sure exactly where they were made, as most are Napoleonic era French, these appear almost Black Forest German.condition as per images. I lightly cleaned them with a brush and a little beeswax.
