Up for auction is a wonderful Antique Art Noveau Period German Gustav Becker(2) two weight Vienna Regulator Clock. Circa 1890-1910. The clock's dimensions are approximately; H- 39" W- 17" D- 8" The Case: The walnut case is in excellent physical condition. The ring around the dial/face has a split it in it. There is also a another small area on the bottom of the case that has chipped off and missing a piece of wood missing. I believe these imperfections are relatively insignificant overall. But something you should know about. The finish on the case is very clean. I believe it was refinished at one time, not 100pct sure. There are 16 pieces of brass ornamentation attached to the clock. 12-8-13) PLEASE NOTE: I found a small wooden 1/2 finial for the bottom of the clock, please see picture, its shown on the last picture. There ... moreis still a small wood piece missing in that area. The Dial/Face: The dial/face is in excellent physical condition. Its clean and has a nice established patina. I believe the chapter ring is made of an early plastic, not 100 pct sure though.I can not see and/or feel chips, breaks, etc. The Mechanism: The Gustav Becker 8 day weighted mechanism is clean and has been running properly for me for the last few days. The clock chimes on the half hour and hour. On the back plate of the movement it states in two circles; Gustav Becker. Freig, I, schl. braunauibohm" and"Medaille D'Or" The serial number is 264386. The Chime Base: The anchor shaped chime base which is connected to the back of the clock is original and has"G.B" engraved on the top. The clock has a pleasant soft sound which resonates well. The Weights/Pendulum. Pulleys and Clock Dial are matching with the same engraving pattern. Please check out this video of the clock. The clock is being put for auction in"as found" condition. Up for your bidding pleasure. This wonderful Antique Collectable from the past. I found this Coin Box at an Estate sale just outside of DC. A fabulous must have for the serious collector. This Antique Coin Stack Box was made to fool a person into thinking it's a real stack of coins. The coins on the top and the bottom are genuine Antique 1799 George lll Half Pennies. This unusual prop-like piece made up of the two Antique Half Pennies, and soldered at the base of a copper tube which has been made to look like a stack of coins. On the edges as in the same sort of milled line as you see on coins from this period. Because of the age of this piece there is wear on the edges, but in great Antique condition. Overall nice patina, the lid fits nice and snug and secure. The measurements are 1 1/4" tall and almost 1" wide. LARGE ANTIQUE 925 STERLING& MARCASITE FLOWER SHAPE BROOCH/ PENDANT 17g#2 A large brooch which also has a pendant hook so it can be worn on a chain. Delightful open design of a flower; all the petals have a marcasite border and the centre is studded with marcasites. All marcasites are present and sparkling nicely; the silver could of course be cleaned up if you like. But ... morepersonally I prefer the patina of age for my marcasite pieces. It is stamped 925 for sterling silver on the rim; it has a very old-fashioned safety catch and would date I think to the 1930’s. It also has a safety chain which you could of course remove– the catch holds well. Measures approx 4.5 cms diameter and weighs a substantial 17g. This is a very nice vintage- antique ceramic hand painted majolica 2 handled bowl with a side view portrait in the middle. And 2 winged female figures on the sides. To be honest I do not really know what I am selling it could well be worth a fortune.I dont know. Quaiche or loving cup. Unmarked. But believed to be Italian or similar. Quite roughly made as you can see by looking at the base. But all hand painted. It measures a total of 6. 1/2 inches including the handles. The bowl part measures approx 4 inches in diameter. This is a rare and beautiful example of the two box telephone. Measurements: 32" tall x 10" wide x 10" deep. rare 6 bar magneto) Sears& Roebuck Co. wall telephone was manufactured by Chicago Telephone& Supply Company around 1913. Sears was a distributor. Mainly for products manufactured by Chicago Telephone& Supply Co. A brass name tag with Sears, Roebuck& Company name was attached to most wall sets. As one of the earliest telephone manufacturers. Antique Punch Bowl with 11 cups Glass Etched 2 pc Bowl & Pedestal Showers
Antique vtg etched clear glass 2 pc pedestal punch bowl w/11 matching cups. Bowl measures approx. 5 1/4" high and 9 7/8" across top- pedestal measures approx. 6 3/4" in diameter. Each cup measures approx. 2 1/4" high and 3 1/4" across top. Etched grape and vine design in bowl& cups- gold colored rim on bowl and cups- has some darkened areas on gold.
