The clock's dimensions are approximately; H- 20" W- 9" D- 4.5" The Case: The brass/bronze case is in excellent physical condition. There are no cracks. Chips, scratches, scrapes, etc. I'm not sure if the case is brass or bronze. I do know its pretty heavy and has a wonderful established patina. The Dial/Face: The porcelain dial/face is in excellent physical condition. I can not see and/or feel chips. Breaks, etc. The brass hands are absolutely stunning. On the dial/face it has 2 names painted on it, one I can not make out the name and the other name appears to be"Versaille" The Bezel: The brass/bronze bezel is clean and closes tightly to the case. The convex beveled crystal/glass is clean and scratch free from what I ... morecan see. The Mechanism: The French 8 day spring driven time and strike mechanism is in working order. Half of the 17th-century, Russian enameled bronze, priming flask for a flintlock or wheel lock gun. The shape and the form of decoration are very distinctive for the 17th century work of the Kremlin armory. Those types of bronze priming flasks were cast in two pieces then joined together on the edges. This particular piece was excavated in the 19th century. On the former territory of eastern Poland, in broken condition. The broken part has been removed and the good part was mounted in the display case. The object has been taken, by the owner, out of Poland in 1939 during WWII. He served in the Polish Army II Corps. After the war he settled in Canada. This is a top quality piece and I see one similar recently at Lincolnshire show ground major antiques fair and it wasn't a patch on this one and they wanted £950 for it. This candelabra looks absolutely stunning on a dining room table and is such a statement piece. Extremely collectable and rare Heintz sterling silver golfer theme on brass cigar tray. It has not been polished and probably best left as is. Displays beautifully in its own arts and crafts form with the period plus-fours wardrobe of the golfer. Sure. It could be used as a cigar tray but I think the match holder bracket could be better suited for business cards or other types of pamphlets. Using the tray as a holder for mini-snickers bars would healthier also. The sterling silver applique is very intricate as you can even make out the flag on the golf course landscape on the rim of the brass/bronze. Here's a set of wonderfully sculpted and cast. Medium sized and now heavily patina-ted bronze elephants. Delicate too. As the base on one is broken, cracked and will need to be restored along with the trunk on the other. Broken trunk is still very strongly attached, it just would need to be filled and cosmetically painted over. The broken base white fill needs to be glued together. The surface thin bronze is also torn and would require strengthening. Bases on both would probably be best to be affixed to another small rectangular base, like a piece of black marble. Now if you can get by this. If you really study these pictures I will bet that you will appreciate the very fine modeling of the elephants. In all angles, just beautiful.

Antique Art Deco Dancing Nude Woman Statue Bookend Cast Iron Bronze Book End
Up for sale is an original. Antique, art deco style, nude dancing woman, bookend. There is only one bookend for sale. Bookend could also be used as a doorstop. From what research I have done, it appears that this bookend is from the 1920's, but I have no hard proof of this. It is bronze in color, and there are just a few areas of the bookend that are still shiny. Bookend is very old and does show some age. It is not brand new and shiny, but in good condition. There is a couple of small white areas on the bent leg, but it just looks like it needs a good cleaning. Also, the felt bad that was once on the bottom of the base is gone. This would look great on a shelf with some antique books, as a doorstop in an office, or just as a decoration. I have taken several pictures to accurately depict the condition and size of the bookend. Base of ... morebookend is 4 1/8 inches at the back, and about 2 3/4 inches from the rear of base to the highest part of the arch. From hand to hand, the woman measures about 4 3/4 inches. From the top of the woman's head, to the bottom of the base measures about 5 1/4 inches. The bookend weighs just under two pounds.
