Aubert Auctions Description An old partial store carton of oxygen producing OTABS used in fishing bait buckets containing minnows. Crabs or shrimp. On the box lid it reads: THE PREMBLE LABORATORIES RIVER FALLS, WISCONSIN. Inside of the carton are three original cardstock store signs which indicate the tins were suggested to sell at 15c each but one sign was later revised to sell them at 35c each or 3 for a dollar. There are three smaller'6-pack' boxes inside of the store carton that measure 4 1/8" x 2 3/4" x 3/4" each. Two have all six inside and one has only 4 tins remaining inside. The two full ones have had the manufacturers printed retail prices blocked out with marker in the upper corners. The partial box has 6 for 75c and 2 for 25c printed in its upper corners. For auction is a great lot of vintage 1950's Schrafft's candy advertising/ salesman sales promotion items. This great lot includes 8 items including 5 catalogs and 3 signs. The catalogs included are 2 Christmas catalogs from 1959. One advertising peppermint candies, One for Valentines day of 1960, and one for the Fall of 1959. The catalogs have great colors, pictures info and prices about all the great candy offered, Also included are 3 paper window signs. There are 2 signs of the man and woman holding Christmas presents. They are in good shape with super colors and they measure 18 1/4 inches long by 8 1/2 inches tall. Then there is one sign dated 1958 that has the Schrafft's"Candy" girl. These two vintage Hush Puppies signs are quite adorable and. I think, are from the 1960s. The larger one is 10x16" and is not in great condition. It is made of cardboard with a plastic overlay on the front, so it did not stand up to being used or knocked around. It is also somewhat faded. A double sided black on white porcelain on steel Beauty Shoppe sign in very good condition(see attached photos) I personally bought this sign in New York City. And it is understood that the sign is circa 1920’s. Measuring 24 inches long X 12 inches high with a 2 inch flange and weighing 6 lbs.
