BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE ART DECO CELLULOID PRAYER SHADOW BOX WITH VIRGIN MARY AND ANGELS! This is a Wonderful Antique Celluloid Prayer box. It has a Cross on the front. On the inside on one side is a prayer to the Virgin Mary. On the opposite side is the Virgin Mary in the center with 2 large angels on the side. It is unmarked as to the maker but is made of an old type celluloid material. The prayer starts with: Remember. O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that any one who fled thy protection, implored they help or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. and ends: O Mother of the word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Offering a very nice set of art deco bookends with a nude girl doing a scarf dance. Very unique bookends with a great patina, they are cast iron and look to have been copper coated, no damage or cracks, they do show patina and age well, they were made around 1930, no markings, size is about 6" tall with a 4-1/4" base. Rare Antique Art Deco Westclox Pink Tiny Tim Clock w/ Box, Circa 1933
Up for auction is a wonderful antique Art Deco Period Westclox Clock with Box. Circa 1930. The clock's dimensions are approximately; H- 2" W- 2" D- 1" The Case: The steel case is in excellent physical condition. There are no breaks. Chips, etc. to either the case or base. The pink paint is nearly all intact within the base. There are a few small areas where there is a little bit of paint loss along the base/corners. I consider this insignificant but something you should know about. The bottom and back of the case has a patent date of Mar. 29, 1927. Thee gold colored paint on the bottom of the case is nearly perfect. The clock still retains the original felt pads. The screws are all original as well. The Dial/Face: The steel face is in excellent physical condition. I can not see any marks. Scratches, etc. on it. The blue ... moresteel hands are original and in excellent physical condition. The crystal/glass is original to the clock and is clean, scratch free from what I can see and feel. The Mechanism: The Westclox one day mechanism has been cleaned and oiled. The clock keeps pretty accurate time for one day. The mechanism has a date of 1933 engraved in it. The Box: The box is made for Tiny Tim clocks. I believe this box was made for the nickel plated version of the Tiny Tim clock. It states"nickel finish" on the box. The clock is being put for auction in"as found" condition. All sales are final. Rare Antique Art Deco Aristocrat Gilbert Pedistal Oscillating Fan C1930 vtg
This is a vintage original Gilbert Stand Fan. Probably 1930's. The fan stands from 48 to approx 56 inches tall on its original adjustable stand. The blades are aluminum and the cage appears to be aluminum or nickel. The cage is 11 inches across the blades are 9 inches. The fan runs nice and smooth. Single speed with inline on off switch. The oscillating mechanism appears to work but seems to get stuck when the arms meet. The original paint appears to be in good original condition. The cord is frayed and will need to be replaced. But nothing that I would consider distracting. The Dial/Face: The aluminum dial/face is in excellent physical condition. I can not see and/or feel chips. Breaks, etc. The blue steel hands are original to the clock and are in excellent physical condition. The Bezel: The brass bezel is clean and closes tightly to the case. Rare, Antique, Art Deco, Nouveau Boy and Dolphin Kerosene/ Oil Lamp, Porpoise
In very good condition for age. Except top of lamp had no paint. Painted it to match rest of lamp. Didn't alter the finish on the rest of it. It has a beautiful, aged patina. Made of metal except for base. Has a date of 1887 and Phoenix MFG. Co. on knob. It is 22 1/2 inches tall. 15 1/2 without chimney. The"fish" is the way dolphins were portrayed in the 19th century and earlier. Last two pictures show lamp before painting. Paint was probably worn off by kerosene being wiped off of top from repeated usage. Has neat little cap on a chain that covers small fuel filler tube. Check pictures. Very heavy for it's size. Weighs over 9 pounds. Can't figure out for sure what Boy and Dolphin are made of. Reservoir screws into it with a brass threaded rod. The threaded female part in top of figures is brass. But after scratching ... moreinto hidden part in top after taking them apart I've found it's not brass. It is a shiny silvery metal. There is no sign of rust on figures so it is not iron. Up for auction is a wonderful Art Deco Period American Grandfather Clock. Circa 1920-30. The clock's dimensions are approximately; H- 87" W- 23" D- 14" The Company: Hanson Clock Company. Rockford, IL. The Case: Original walnut finish. I think its in great physical condition for a clock that's roughly 90-100 years old. There's a couple of minor scratches and one small piece of veneer that's missing on the bottom right side. This veneer loss is not visible from the front. Its approximately 2" long. The Glass: Original top glass. Bottom glass appears to be a replacement. I don't see the"wavy" in the bottom glass. The Face/Dial: Original to the clock. Very clean with a few tiny areas that have a light scratch/blemish. The Hands: Original blue steel hands. The Weights: Original to the clock and ... morehave a great patina. The Chains: Original to the clock and have a great patina. The Pendulum: Original to the clock and has a great patina. The Movement: Original to the clock. The 8-day weight driven movement has a wonderful sounding 1/4 hour Westminster Chime. The clock will strike the hour after the complete Westminster Chime. The clock is in working order and keeps good time. The Pediment is original to the clock. One of the finials has a cracked base. If you turn the finial so the crack is facing the back. It can't be seen from the front. I will include a key to lock the door. I believe this is original to the clock. But will not confirm this. Up for auction is a bookend pair from the Jennings Brothers Manufacturing Company of Bridgeport. Connecticut. Depicted are masculine sporting dogs in Art Deco style, colored perfectly for a masculine Club Room. Be advised that these are in great condition. And finished in multiple shades of Hunter Green. The ears have dark recessed areas not captured well in photos, as do the eyes and finer details. Most bookend collectors know that once Jennings went out of business. The molds became property of the Philadelphia Manufacturing Company. They too released this set, and exact likeness. Those on most occasion were marked PMC and numbered with two digits and a letter. These are marked JB 1029 a clear indicator of maker. Both also have tin lined bottoms felted and green, something never seen on later pairs. ANTIQUE ART DECO CHROMIUM OXIDE GREEN ART COLONY IND. STANDING TWIN NUDE FIGURES
Up for auction are a pair of standing nudes. These don't function as bookends as one would hope. But these do display nicely. These are old, from the 1930's or so. The maker is known, and that maker Art Colony Industries, did make bookends, almost always heavy cast iron. Instead of being made of iron, these are a lesser white metal. Aside from that. Much isn't known about these. Each stand at 7" 2" Wide, 1.5" Deep. One is felted in well worn green felt, the other not showing the white metal. On both, you're going to find some patina deep in the crevices, especially the legs, and lots of dust where the arms and head create a nest. Overall. These are nice. The company never made nude pairs with fine facial detail. They always got the body right, but never the faces. These are no exception. Also, these have little ... moredents all over. This was intention, and part of the design when released.

My father was an engineer for Stromberg and this radio has been in my family for 60+ years. Great condition and I have not done anything to restore it. There is a small screw missing on the front where the station dial plate is. The radio works when plugged in but the station dial is not moving. There are also two keys that don't always stay raised. Antique Art Deco Dancing Nude Woman Statue Bookend Cast Iron Bronze Book End
Up for sale is an original. Antique, art deco style, nude dancing woman, bookend. There is only one bookend for sale. Bookend could also be used as a doorstop. From what research I have done, it appears that this bookend is from the 1920's, but I have no hard proof of this. It is bronze in color, and there are just a few areas of the bookend that are still shiny. Bookend is very old and does show some age. It is not brand new and shiny, but in good condition. There is a couple of small white areas on the bent leg, but it just looks like it needs a good cleaning. Also, the felt bad that was once on the bottom of the base is gone. This would look great on a shelf with some antique books, as a doorstop in an office, or just as a decoration. I have taken several pictures to accurately depict the condition and size of the bookend. Here is a very nice original antique Mother of Pearl real shell purse. With an ornate brass hinge and clasp area. Circa 1900- 1920's. It has a red paper interior. It measures approx 4 inches in length. This purse shows signs of use. The interior has tears in it etc. There is a little edge damage to the mother of pearl, but overall, this is a good used antique purse, delicate but survived approx. a hundred years.
