Antique surface rim lock vintage door hardware lockset cast iron catch & latch
I have a nice old reusable cast iron rim lock for your consideration. Could use a cleaning and lube with the removal of a single standard slot set screw. Driverod gear spring is strong and works latch. Locking lever for drive gear latch engages and disengages nicely. There is no skeleton key for deadbolt slide so you will have to use without it until one is either found or made. This is a heavier good quality box measuring 3 1/8 x 3 3/4 inches. Pair of early red clay black glazed doorknobs. A 1/4 inch driverod, cast iron rosette, cast iron keyhole trim cover for obverse side of lock, catch and some set screws for knobs are included. lot antique nickel brass hinges latches vintage icebox ice chest latch hardware
I have a nice lot of old brass icebox hinges and latches with catches for your consideration. 5 hinges. Two catches and two latches. The handles on the latches are cast brass. There is a left and a right catch and latch. The right latch is a flush catch and the left latch is an offset which looks like a 1/4 inch. They have quite a bit of character I am guessing they came off a side by side double door chest. Nice for reuse on a number of different possiblities for your next project or renovation. Hinges look to have a 3/8 inch offset and all operate smoothly for reuse. These look like they would clean up quite a bit although I did not want to destroy the patina and thought I would let the new owner decide. Using a magnet and acid for testing precious metals. I am unable at this time, to determine exact gemstones and I rely on the descriptions of the items that were sold to me and getting a reaction out of a diamond tester that indicates hardness that is typical of a gemstone, but doesn't tell me which gemstone. I also feel the stones to see if they are cold to the touch, indicating the pieces are most likely gemstones. Description: I present a wonderful vintage Mother of Pearl and Abalone latch bracelet. It is made from Alpaca silver and features a latch closure. It has a black enamel background ... morewith a MOP and abalone flower and leaves design. This area has no issues and appears to be in almost new condition. The latch works very well as my pictures indicate. Although it is non magnetic. It is made from Alpaca silver, which is a mixture of several non alloy materials, with about 80% real silver content. As with any vintage jewelry item, it has some light tarnishing and minor scratching, but could use a very thorough cleaning to make it sparkle. It is stamped on the back. There are some letters that have been rubbed off, but I got a picture of what was there and it looked like Spanish to me. For it's age. This bracelet is in very good condition, with the stamp still visible. A nice item for the collectors and for the wearers. Good luck bidding! Vintage Cabinet Part This is a used vintage" H' latch from a Hoosier cabinet these rare to find in useable condition. This is a old original piece in used condition. This one looks like it could be flush mount there is only 1/8" from lever to what would be latch. I also think these can be use either as a right hand latch or left hand. this is spring loaded so lever always come back to center which is locked postion and will do it either way you turn the h. the h also looks same in either postion. Photos show more than 1 view of the same parts. You will recieve 1 latch. Latch seems to work. May need some adjustment moves lever but maby not as far as it originly did. This will show some wear from years of use. This will also show signs of aging. No Mounting screws. This measures 2-1/4" tall. 1-1/8" wide measured across ... moreback of latch. Photos show condition fairly well. Flash makes it look a little more shiny than it is. AS many of you know that work on these cabinets the original latch is heavier and better built than the reproduction latches. This is a modernistic designed silver bracelet with light and dark colored swirly green stone. It looks very much like Jasper but I’m not absolutely sure. Measuring around the bracelet when closed it has approximately a 7 3/4” circumference. I love the bracelet but my wrist is very small so it doesn’t fit right. You are bidding on a very early vintage Hardy Uniqua 3 5/8" RHW Salmon fly reel. With a grooved brass foot~~inscribed on the side of the foot with the British Pat.272409, inscribed on the inside with the maker's initials"W.S. ~ the employee of Hardy who made this reel. Because of the brass foot, we suspect that this reel was made before WW I as all of the brass was appropriated for shell casings until the war's end. The reel retains much of it's gray leaded wonderful patina. The reel has a black ebonite crank handle. Both knobs are in good condition with no dents. As far as I can tell the knobs are made of steel not brass or copper. There is some light rust or corrosion on the knobs nothing terrible but its there. The back plates are also in good condition with out dents or twists again some light rust and are 6" long and 2" wide at the widest. In the upper left corner is SK-752 Complete Home Protection and in lower left corner it says Ideal Security St. Paul MN. 55101, it also has Union Made in U.S.A. The back of the card has instructions and a drawing of how to put it on a door. It feels pretty heavy and it looks like its in real nice condition, never used. There's no bar code lines anywhere so its older than when they started having those on packaging. The card is about 7 1/2" x 6 1/4" The jamb bracket is about 4" L. and it is the longest piece in the set, all pieces are there that are supposed to and so are the 2 one way tamper proof screws. Great vintage iron owl shaped bracket swing lock! Nice vintage condition with only little to no wear from previous use! 5 1/8 inches tall and 2 inches wide. The swing arm is 6 1/2 long.
