4 very cool" strap" type hinges. The longest being approx 19" and the shortest approx 15" The longest has what appears to be a piece broken off the end. A couple are slightly bent at the end. One has a bent old bolt still in it. Odds and ends that I don't have matches for, maybe you do: They are dirty, dusty, surface rusty to very pitted depending on the hinge, some being older than others I would guess. Fresh from the barn. Nice antique cast iron split hinges. One pair. Measures 3" in height and 3" in width, right hand swing. They're in good shape. And actually have a bevel cast into the flat portion of each hinge, which I find very interesting. As a contractor, I used to chisel a slight bevel into the recess for hinges in order to prevent'binding' when closing the door, in case the frame wasn't quite true. Common in old houses. These hinges have that little trick built in, pretty neat! They have some paint on them. Not much, it scrapes off pretty easy, and a little work with a wire wheel and they look awesome!

I have up for auction a lot of 24 Antique Cast Iron Acme Shutter Hinges. These were purchased at an old house auction. There are 14 hinges that are marked R and there are 10 hinges that are marked L. They all are marked Acme Pat. 1 1/2. I am not sure but the way I layed them out I think there will be 10 complete sets with 4 extra rights. These are 3" up and down and 5" wide when open. Antique Victorian Cast Iron 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" Door Hinges Steeple Pins
These are Victorian-era door hinges of cast iron in good working condition. There is one pair for sale in this auction. Each hinge measures 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" and is marked on the reverse side. There is damage to the bottom of the steeple on each hinge pin. As can be seen in the third photograph. The tops are still tight to the pin. There is also a casting flaw on the edge of one leaf. It does not appear that it would affect the strength of the hinge. They have been cleaned of paint but have not been recoated and are the last of this pattern in my inventory.

These are in good condition with rust and pitting with almost all of it found on the back side. These were brass plated but now most of that is long gone. The spots of bass left and the age darkened area’s gives these a rather unique look. These are very heavy duty and will handle most doors. These solid bass pins remove rather easily but you still should follow a few precautions. Because these have solid ... morebrass pins so you should not use a screwdriver under the pin top to remove them but rather us a flatted nail or better yet a punch to push the pin out from the bottom. You also should not use a hammer to strike the pin top directly but rather use a piece of wood positioned on the top of the pin before hitting it. I do have more sets just like these listed but with much less rust and pitting on the back side. Please check out all my other vintage and antique hinges I have listed. Oil has been applied but they should have a final cleaning and clear coated or painted for continued protection. Please take a look at the many other antique hardware items I have listed.
