Vintage Antique Hoosier Cabinet Hinges, latches Lot 2
This is the second lot of mostly Hoosier hinges and latches. I can tell you this lot is from the same bucket as the first lot. I did not seperate them. I actually just pulled stuff out and put them onto two seperate lots. There are other items in with the hoosier items. I am not sure what they went to. This is a lot from a gentleman that used to restore antique furniture. Some is all original, some is reproduction. These are used, and are as found. There could be dings, dirt, tarnish, paint etc on these items. Some maybe broke, or bent. I really don't know too much about these items. I can tell you there is a mixture some maybe Sellers, Hoosier, Boone, or other Hoosier type item. Vintage, Antique Hoosier Cabinet Hinges, Latches Lot 1
This is lot 1 of two lots of mostly Hoosier hinges. Latches, and handles. Some are Sellers some are Hoosier, some are Boone and I am sure probably some are other companies that made a form of the Hoosier Cabinet. I would say most of this is all Hoosier items, I have seen some other hinges, and I am not sure what they came from. These Hoosier hinges, actually have sold on here between 10.00 to 30.00 some for one item, some for 6 items. Great project for someone who knows Hoosiers to piece it out. Some are original some maybe reproduction. Some are in nice shape for the age, some are rusty, some maybe frozen, or bent, I am sure there is paint on them, or tarnish, scratches. This is a set of vintage Singer Sewing Machine head pin hinges for cabinets. These are the 2 screw models. Includes the mounting screws. These hinges were used on almost all Singer machines over all the years Singer made cabinets. Treadles and non treadles. These are in nice condition and have a steel color finish, probably nickel plate finish. One has a bit of plate peel. Easy to replace on any cabinet. They measure 1 1/8" in diameter. These are the 2 screw models. Singer also did make 1 screw models which were used on many more machines. These 2 screw models are much more difficult to find and in such nice condition. Lot of 58 Vintage Cabinet Inset Hinges - Dull Brass
These 58 hinges were removed from an old bungalow. We are guessing they date from the 60s/70s when the kitchen was last remodeled. Dull brass finish. Definitely not in perfect condition. Marks. Scrapes, patina.but they work! They are 3 1/2" long with 2 1/4" between the holes. They're inset hinges with an 3/8" inset. Most screws included. Vintage chrome cabinet hinges 1950s retro two pair deco 3 black lines trailer
This is a great set of two pair of door hinges for cabinets(or whatever! Very deco style with three black lines. The price is for ALL FOUR HINGES(2 pair) They work well. Smooth action. Someone had sloppily varnished over the cabinets with latches on, so there are some bits of varnish still to remove. We gently washed but did not polish these. We are including some screws(missing 4 of a total 20 needed) Which might not be original, but they were holding these on the old cabinets we removed them from. Chrome is in decent shape with not much pitting, but it does need polish(heck, it was on a greasy old kitchen cabinet! We have other pulls and hinges from this same(small) kitchen- check other listings. They are 2- 1/4" x 1-1/2" when open. Great vintage pieces! Vintage Red Lacquer Japan Tansu Chest Cabinet. Raised Paint, Brass Hinges, 36" For sale is a lovely vintage Japanese tansu chest/cabinet in a red lacquer hand painted finish with legs. Has 4 small pull out drawers and one larger folding drawer with a circular brass locking mechanism. Floral decorations on the sides and top. And the front is decorated with figures and landscape scenery. The decorations on the front are raised(they actually stick out) so I am unsure if they are carved, but it is all hand made and painted and features very intricate details. Unsure of the age/time period of the piece. Looks to be early-mid 20th century but I am not an expert. All the brass shows nice patina indicating it does have good age to it. The piece stands on its own with its own feet, but one side beam is missing on the bottom, back right side(see ... morephoto) Still stands securely on its own, and this could be easily repaired or the feet removed to make it a flat bottom. Overall in good condition, with mild paint chipping but I can find no major flaws aside from the missing piece on the bottom. Tansu measures about 36" high. 18.5" across and about 12" deep. This would make a wonderful gift or addition to add to a collection that has a great classic Japanese style to it. I bought these with some other things at a local estate sale. I believe these are from a Sellers kitchen cupboard. I don't know about the hinges. But they were together and might be for the same cupboard. The hinges are marked underneath NL Co. Rockford. One of the 3 that go the same way is loose and but still works. The single one has something dripped- maybe paint. I have not tried to remove it. One of the hinges is pinned with a nail. The biggest hinges don't have the same bends. Please ask I'll try to answer.
