Lot of 5 old barn hinges. They are pitted. Rusty and a little bent, can be straightened easily. Hinges all move free. Size is- 6.5 wide x 2 inches on the small end and 9.5 long on the other. Total size is 12.5 long, opened. The long end has a taper to them so they do not mount perfectly flat.

Good old vintage cast iron is stronger and harder than the new soft reproduction stuff they make in modern hinges. Likely cast in the last 1880's to the early 1900's. These have a nice sharp. Clean and fancy casting. The pattern is also on the back of the hinge and shows when the door is closed. The hinges were sprayed with clear acrylic lacquer finish. This clear finish has scratch and water resistance. They are 5" long from steeple tip to steeple tip and they are 3" wide. The pins are loose and removable. These hinges are really big. Really heavy, really old, and really NEAT looking. Both together weigh 31 pounds. You can tell these were forged. I like how the outside edges were given a bevel. Antique Oak Arched Entry Door W Yale Hardware Brass Knocker Hinges Quarter Sawn This door came from a recent estate that we bought. I found it in the loft of a barn. The best I came up with was it was taken out of the house when it was remodeled in the early 70's. and stored in the barn. The original house was over 100 years old, I don't think the door is that old. I will have about 20 more old doors from the same loft listed eventually. All I did with the door was clean it off with some Murphy's soap, nothing else. The lock is marked Yale on the jam side of the door. If your looking at this then you probably know more about it than I do. So if you have questions please ask. The door is not perfect. Iron strap DOOR HINGES Antique. Architectural& Garden, Hardware, other A handsome pair of VINTAGE IRON STRAP DOOR HINGES… They are nicely rusted. The ends of the hinge pins still retain the red paint from the barn or shed that they were last used on. The HINGES are 10” in total length. WITH is 5 ¼” x 2 ¾” ATTACHED PLATES, they are 1/8” thick and the 2 weight 4lbs. I don’t believe the hinge pin can be removed and I think they will need a ½” head screw. Though I like the sound of the squeak they make, they need some oiling. The rust can be removed and I thought I’d leave that to their new owner, I like it. I would be happy to answer any questions.

PAIR of Antique Bronze Door Strap Hinges 6" by 10" 9 Hole
These hinges are in great condition with moderate signs of use. They are actually 5 7/8" by 9 7/8" and are cast bronze. They have free movement and swing open 180 degrees. The only mark I see is a readable 10 on the back of one. There is some extra metal on one of them that never got trimmed. I'll leave that and the cleaning to you. I notice the hinge pins have little keeper pins to keep them from falling out. All the edges are beveled and I think these would display very nicely. Please email any questions. Thank you.

About 2" at the hinge. The long part is 3" The short part is 1.75" Moves freely. Not a perfect finish, marked 1398 on back of the big half and GRB Co. on the small. Does not attract a magnet. A lovely pair. These are the only ones we have of this style. But just recently came by lots more hardwars, keep a watch! Here for sale are a pair of genuine English antique wrought iron hand forged H L hinges suitable for an old pine or oak door. Being handmade they vary slightly in size. Both measure about 12 inches high. When open one measures 13 5/8 inches wide and the other 12 5/8. The knuckles measure 3 7/8 inches. I have added a second picture to show wear to the knuckles. All are hand forged. The loose rust has been removed and they have been waxed.
